Elodie Frege versus Harumi Nemoto

R1: Elodie scores the first blow, and from there the first round tilts in her favor. She punches Harumi in the chest and head, chasing her back to the ropes, and even though Harumi tries her best to fend Elodie off, she takes a lot of damage. The round ends with her hurting badly while Elodie is mostly fine.

R2: Harumi finds it in herself to fight back and go toe to toe with her opponent. Elodie, not expecting this, scrambles to mount a defense, finding it but not before taking shots to the stomach and head. From there on the two women keep fighting for the upper hand, exchanging blows but never can either seize the advantage over the other.

R3: The exchange continues, but the match inches in Harumi’s favor, with more blows raining down on Elodie than on herself. This difference is slight, but enough to make Elodie the one backing towards the ropes. Gradually, the damage starts to add up and by the end of the round Elodie looks as bad as Harumi, red and sore.

R4: It begins to show that Harumi has more endurance than Elodie in round four, as even though the match has more or less been an even exchange, Elodie is flagging while Harumi is not, and that allows Harumi to gain the upper hand. She out-punches Elodie and ends the round with it decidedly in her favor.

R5: After a minute of taking punches despite attempting to defend, Elodie takes a particularly hard punch to the face and loses her balance. She falls onto her back and remains there until the ten count.

Winner: Harumi Nemoto via KO5!
