Alyssa Lynch vs Alicia Vikander

Alyssa:
(24, 5’7, 120, 34:14 FCBA, VIXENs)

Alicia:
(32, 5’5, 12:13 FCBA, The Fighting Academy)

BEFORE:
Alyssa and Alicia go head-to-head tonight as they continue to climb over each other to the very top of the Bantamweight rankings. Their names might be similar-sounding but everything else looks different on paper: Alyssa’s slightly taller and eight years younger, though Alicia looks more toned and lean, as befitting her roles in recent action-movies.

When the two brunettes meet in the center of the stage earlier that night, there’s a healthy rivalry going off as they size each other up with upturned chins and fists posed up close and personal.

“She’s one heck of an actress, but she ain’t as good in the ring. I can tell,” Alyssa says first from her perch at the table. “I mean, she’s lost more fights than she’s won, but her management still keeps her around for some reason. If I were in her position, you can bet your ass I’d be out on my ass by midnight.”

“Thankfully, dear, you’re with your stable and I’m with mine,” Alicia replies calmly from the other corner. “Lynch is one of the hardest workers I’ve followed in the league, but she still hasn’t made it to the top. Unlike her, however, I’ve grown comfortable with my what I’ve achieved so far. That’s another reason why I took this fight: I fully believe in my ability to win this.”

Later, we’re back in the ring, and the veiled threats have only made this fight go up in stakes. Alicia looks fit as a fiddle as she shadow-boxes and stretches in her corner. She’s wearing a black sports bra and short tights for this contest, complete with red gloves. Alyssa is going for a more classy, chic look, a lavender sports bra and short briefs to show off her figure, as she straightens a pair of black gloves over each hand. Referee waves for the fight to start and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
All business from Alicia as she skirts in early and starts pounding away on Alyssa’s guard no-problem! That eight-year difference fades away as it’s the older girl who’s sporting all the enthusiasm when the bell rings, with Alyssa letting out a gasp of surprise as her head gets knocked back by a couple of snap-jabs landing square to the nose. Lynch heard growling mid-round, trying to establish her own dominance, but for every shot she lands back to Alicia’s face, she gets paid back two or three-fold, the Swede actress doing everything in her power to show how badly she wants the win here. End of the round and Lynch already looks battered and bothered, rubbing her cheek as she scowls back to her corner, with Alicia sporting a big grin on her way back to hers.

ROUND 2:
More mad action as neither girl wants to back down from a fight, which results in both of them clashing repeatedly in the center, mutual fists stuck in or shoved hard into the face or each other’s sides, drawing loads of grunts and under the breath curses in the first minute alone. Alyssa initially shocked by the older woman’s tenacity, but beats fire with fire of her own when she bangs an uppercut into the base of Alicia’s chin, which disorients her somewhat and sets up the direction for the rest of this round. Alicia moves away but is diligently jabbing back at the advancing Vixen, but Lynch this time keeps up the pressure all the way to the bell, the round ending with a satisfied nod from the younger fighter as she evens the points out.

ROUND 3:
Both brunettes are giving it their all as they scoot forward again for round three. Alicia initially fights technical, parrying some of Lynch’s wild combos off to the side or top before slapping her across the face with leather of her own, which obviously doesn’t sit well with Lynch. The Vixen still isn’t giving up, growling as she pressures Vikander backwards and back, slowly pushing her into a corner but taking loads of punishment to her face in return. Vikander seems to be taking the round wide when suddenly, she’s surprised by a straight cross that streaks in outta nowhere! Lynch with a barn-burner of a right hand that she lands right between the middle of the arms and into Alicia’s face! OUCH! Vikander lets out a groan, flailing backwards in a panic, unfortunately doesn’t see that next straight punch comin’ till it’s too late - BLAM! THE SWEDE’S TAKEN OFF HER FEET, landing hard on her back with one HELL of an early KNOCKDOWN from Alyssa Lynch! WOW! We’ve not seen such a dominant performance from the Vixen in quite a while! Lynch is already moving to the neutral corner, ready for more action. She knows that the ending might be too early, too sweet. But Vikander ain’t doing herself any favours either, slowly crawling back to all fours, before giving off lots of troubled vibes even as she pushes the rest of her body upwards. She makes one last attempt to extend her legs all the way up, but then FALLS back down to all fours! And soon after, the referee hits the count of 10! It’s OVER in KO3 dominant fashion!

Official Decision: Alyssa Lynch defeats Alicia Vikander via KO3!

AFTER:
What an impressive win for Lynch! Immediately, the VIX corner explodes in cheers, self-assured pats on the back as their little engine that could blasts through another obstacle. This may be Alyssa’s fifth year fighting in the FCBA without earning a title for herself, but if her counterpart in Emily Ratajkowski has displayed any luck, all she can do is keep on fighting.

“I’m not gonna quit this’,” Alyssa later says to reporters. “Belt or no belt, I remind myself I’m doing this because I enjoy it. You have to admit - it’s one hell of an adrenaline rush beating up gals like Ren and Vikander!”

Meanwhile, Alicia has to contend with another disappointing loss on her resume, the prolific actress having won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2016 but still having trouble establishing her credentials inside the ring.

“My congratulations to Alyssa. She saw holes in my game and took advantage of that. But I promise I’ll be back. I’ve never quit a thing I’m passionate about before, and I sure as hell won’t start now with a loss to Lynch.”
