(Fates Boxing vs Girls Friday)

(Written by Girls Friday/Results by Lookout!)

Intro:
Another all British affair tonight as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Dua Lipa battle for lightweight supremacy here tonight, this is also the first of two fights between Fates Boxing stars and Girls Friday fighters, who can maybe give a little extra confidence to Emily DiDonato and Kendall Jenner for their lightweight title fight?

Both women have been a story of being signed by their stables after somewhat lagging around the division, now both are top contenders in the lightweight division, more so Rosie who has been the Cinderella story for a lot of fighters, going from barely any wins to now being in the top ten in the world two years later.

Heading into the bout Rosie was interviewed on the FCBA Networks primetime show hosted by Lucy Liu, she sat in the hot seat wearing a white dress with matching heels, showing off her winning smile that has made her one of the most sought after models of the last decade.

When asked about how she feels going into this fight, Rosie admits "I'd love to be going into it on a win after losing to Yvonne, but Dua isn't as good as Yvonne in my eyes, hell the results back that one up right?" With Lucy having to nod in agreement.

"See I respect Dua a lot, let me be totally clear, I don't want to be her or any of her scumbag stables friends, the Girls Friday stable is one that is so over hyped it is unreal, everyone knows we have the best lightweights in the world" adds Rosie, who grins confidently knowing that opinion is hard to argue currently with their talent pool of Rosie, Emily DiDonato and Taylor Swift.

Rosie is asked about how she will beat Dua, she answers "I know I can swat her aside with a few good power shots, my interest is more on knocking her out and being ready for a title shot if Emily fails at her attempt, which of course I hope she does, I have to be selfish myself though if I want to be the best" winking cheekily at Lucy, who smiles in return remembering how own career needing to swat aside stablemates in training and taking any opportunity they failed to jump on.

Dua meanwhile seemed very focused on training, only speaking to the press before the fight as the FCBA Network reporter Alicia Atout caught her coming into the arena, Dua carrying her gym back over her right shoulder as she wears a black tank top, black tracksuit bottoms with thin white stripes either side and black sandals, she smiles as she sees Alicia, waving at her as they meet.

Asked for a quick word on the fight, Dua tells Alicia "I am so ready for this, I've had my eyes on Rosie for awhile and fact she is above me in the rankings shows I need to take this fight seriously, to that I have been working my butt off, so sorry I haven't spoken to you before right now" Alicia saying she understands, with both joking about drinks as Dua says she hopes they are celebration drinks.

Before she heads off Dua is asked if she is feeling any heat off her stable to bat potential dangerous challengers away from Kendall, Dua laughs as she replies "definitely no heat, I asked for this fight when I sat down with my management, as I said Rosie has been on my mind for a little while and well if it helps Kendall out then great but last I checked Kendall has to keep the title herself, which I am sure she will" getting a rye smile from Atout, who doesn't look so sure Dua is being totally honest, for now she has to accept it as Dua heads off to get ready.

Fighting time with first through the curtain Rosie Huntington-Whiteley being led to the ring by her coach Ana Beatriz Barros, Rosie looking like she is on the catwalk judging by her powerful strut down the aisle, her fans whistling and cheering as she looks stunning as ever, wearing a white sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves with gold thumbs, as her blonde mane is tied into a ponytail.

Climbing into the ring, Rosie does a lap inside to hype up her fans, who chant her name as she has her arms out at the side, settling into her corner once the lap in finished, she fist bumps Ana before going through her punching drills to warm up.

Here comes Dua now with her coach Gisele Bundchen beside her, Dua cups her ears at the top of the aisle to a loud roar from her supporters, she looks in a great mood as she jogs down the aisle, wearing a black sports bra with red trim, matching trunks and shoes, black gloves with her hair in a ponytail finishes her look.

Getting into the squared circle, Dua leans on each top ropes to get a feel for them, nodding to Rosie as she passes her corner, once into her own corner the focused look comes as Dua bounces on her toes stretching, being told off Gisele to hurt Rosie early to show her whose the boss here.

Fighters once warmed up step to the center of the ring, eyes locked in an icy stare down, Dua bouncing on her toes as Rosie just hands her hands on her hips, when told to touch up their gloves, both just swipe their opponent's gloves with their own, more focused on returning to their corners, once everything is ready the bell rings for 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Coming out their corners with similar stances, right up close to their cheek, left a little loose as they exchange probing punches, testing out their opponent as they are up on their toes, looking like they are dancing as they move before throwing a stiff jab into a face or into their opponent's abs.

After the initial feeling out process, Dua dips under a jab to hammer in a left/right hook combo to the body, an overhand right doesn't land flush as Rosie gives Dua a push to create space, landing a double jab into Lipa's face as both now start to open up more now they feel they understand how their operates.

Rosie looks to push back Dua as they head to the half way point with a one-two combo, Dua deflects the jab with her glove before stepping in with one of her own to beat Rosie to the punch, an uppercut then catches the stunning model on her chin to knock her back a step, with Dua starting to pound back Huntington-Whiteley towards the ropes.

Trying to keep Dua back with little shoves, Rosie is starting to struggle with the quick attacks from Dua, she is covering up more tightly as seconds tick away with Lipa switching up nicely as she looks to be getting into her full flow first of the two fighters.

At the bell Rosie mouths *sh*t" as she turns to her corner, knowing she got outworked there as she returns to her corner, Ana rubbing her shoulders and biceps to stop her tightening up as they talk what went wrong there.

Round 2:
After the pep talk she got Rosie is out her corner throwing more double jabs, forcing Dua to do the same as the dance resumes, both fighters cheeks starting to be peppered with these jabs, till Rosie slams a straight into Dua's chest to back up the singer a step with a grimace to her face.

Taking the center of the ring for herself, Rosie is being more proactive with her attacks, mirroring the movement of Dua to stop her getting around her, making it a firefight with fists flying in heated exchanges, Rosie has upped the tempo.

At the half way point Dua manages to lean out the way of a right cross to pound in a double jab to the body, just missing with an overhand right as Rosie steps back in time, popping Dua on her forehead with a straight punch to stop Dua getting a head of steam up.

They start to fight more evenly again as Dua keeps the fight at midrange, flurries coming from both fighters as the crowd is yelling for both of them, the sound of leather cracking on flesh rings out as sweat forms on both women's brows, Dua going to the body more of the two but when she does Rosie is landing cross punches to her head to force her to retreat back.

A one-two combo snaps back Dua's head just before the bell rings, a good round for both but the control Rosie had over the first half of the round has to please her coach, the Girls Friday corner look relaxed enough themselves as Gisele chats to Dua on the mistakes she made, making sure to throw in praise too.

Round 3:
Rosie again coming out quickly to push the pace, landing a one-two combo into the face of Dua, taking the center of the ring as she drills in a double jab to the mouth of Lipa, the singer landing a straight into the chest of Rosie to keep her at range as they move around the ring with Dua aimed towards the ropes.

The fighters slamming in punches to cheeks, Dua slipping under a straight to pound in three short digging punches into the abs of the actress, forcing back Huntington-Whiteley towards the center of the ring, guards loosening up leading to more punches landing flush.

Nearing the second minute, Rosie catches Dua with a left cross as she dips down to try to go to the body, a straight snapping back the head of Dua as the brunette is pushed back onto her heels, Rosie unloading a three punch combo square into her face to push Lipa onto the ropes.

Where Dua is struck behind her guard, Rosie trying to break through that guard, swinging in more hooks around to the body and side of her opponent's head, Dua only able to land single punches out her guard before a hook turns her head as she leaves gaps in her defence.

The round comes to an end with Rosie strutting to her corner, confidence flowing as she is starting to get momentum behind her, Dua taking a breath to keep relaxed, Gisele telling her to look for openings to grab control of the fight.

Round 4:
Moving more side to side to try to keep out the way of Rosie's early charge, jabs flying as they look for openings for their rights to land, Dua then steps in with a straight to the solar plexus of Huntington-Whiteley, an overhand left then cracks the blonde on the jaw to turn her head.

Pushing back Rosie now to the outside of the ring, with Dua drilling away to the body of the actress to make her groan out, clipping punches land around the top of Dua's head to keep her from rushing in close, a left hook catches Dua to the side of her head to make her back off.

Back to the center of the ring they go, with Rosie getting caught more with punches drilling into her chin, with a one-two combo catching Dua on her nose to push her back, both landing hard shots now as they plant their feet more.

An uppercut catches Rosie on her chin to knock her back, Dua pounding back the Fate's fighter backwards onto the ropes as the time ticks away, the bell soon rings with Dua nodding to Gisele as she turns back to her corner, knowing that was a much better round for her.

Round 5:
It's like an early chess match as both adapt to what the other changes, Rosie stepping in with a left cross that Dua blocks as a counter jab lands onto Rosie's lips, a right cross follows to turn her head as Dua is now the one with momentum behind her.

Rosie getting caught more as she tries to match up with Dua's hand speed, a double jab/straight combo snaps back her head as she finds herself with the ropes behind her, shelling up as Dua switches targets constantly, letting her hand go now as she has the freedom to work.

When Huntington-Whiteley gets knocked into a corner by an overhand right that sends sweat from her head, the blonde clinches up tight to Dua, forcing the referee to split them up as Lipa looks very determined not to let this head of steam she has built dissipate away.

Less then a minute to go though and Rosie catches Dua to the chin with a counter right, a left clubs the brunette across her head to send sweat flying there, with Rosie turning the heat up on her, bashing Dua through her mitts with a four punch combo to the delight of her corner crew.

Ending up in a neutral corner, Dua is shelling up herself now just as the bell rings to end the round, both fighters give their opponent a hard look before they return to their corners, they are starting to break down defenses, with corner teams wiping down their fighters along with reducing some swelling under both fighters eyes.

Round 6:
Dancing around the middle of the ring exchanging punches, the opening thirty seconds is evenly fought as both have some success before they are knocked back a step and finding themselves on the receiving end.

Then Dua steps in with a straight that Rosie sidesteps, a counter left smacks her across her chin and makes Dua stumble, AN UPPERCUT CATCHES LIPA TO SEND HER TO HER BACK! CROWD GOING WILD!

Rosie jogs to the neutral corner with eyes firmly on Dua when there, 1...2...3.. Dua blinks as she stares at the lights, 4...5...6.. Sitting up shaking her head of cobwebs, 7...8...9. Dua beats the count just about, raising her fists as the referee gives her a through checking over, deeming she is OK to continue to cheers from the Lipa fans.

As they resume though Dua is being caught smack into her face, her punches don't seem to have the power behind them and she isn't moving as freely, leading to her head being snapped back, A RIGHT HOOK TEARS A GASH ABOVE DUA'S LEFT EYE, SHE CRIES OUT AS SHE IS HAMMERED BACK ONTO THE ROPES, BLOOD RUNNING DOWN HER CHEEK AS HER GUARD IS DOWN, THE TOWEL COMES IN FROM GISELE! IT'S OVER AS THE REFEREE STEPS IN TO STOP THE FIGHT!

Winner Rosie Huntington-Whiteley TKO Round 6

After:
After a bitter defeat earlier this month that has put a big smile on Rosie's face, the winner turning to the center of the ring to pose, her left hand on her hip as she raises her left foot on it's toe, right in the air as she looks like she should be a pin up girl on a poster then someone who just battered another woman into a stoppage.

Behind her Dua needs to be helped back to her corner, Eva quickly working on stopping the bleeding from her cut as Dua is trying to wipe it away from her eye, not helping as she gets in the way of Eva, it seems she isn't all there from the pounding she took though as Gisele tries to keep her calm.

Of course the Fate's corner is much less fanatic, Rosie getting a kiss on each cheek along with a warm embrace from Ana, who tells her "that's why you are elite now, that killer instinct is just amazing" Rosie nodding with that beaming smile, she sits down on her stool enjoying the praise as her gloves are taken off and she gets a drink.

Across the ring Dua finally has her cut patched up, she won't be sparring for a week by the looks of it as Dua apologizes to her corner team, Gisele taking her gloves off before holding her hands as she acts more a motherly figure now then as a coach, calming down Dua as she tells her "it's OK babe, just relax and we can fix this" Dua calms down after a minute as Eva looks close to tears, knowing how important this fight was to Dua on a personal level, losing this all British clash and helping a title rival move closer to a title shot at possibly her stablemate Kendall.

Dua doesn't come to the center of the ring at the behest of Gisele, who doesn't think it will help her, so Rosie gets the spotlight to herself as she gets her left arm raised by the referee to make it official who won, Rosie yelling at Gisele "I hope Kendall was watching, Emily is going to make her bow down when the title comes home to our stable!" Eva has to hold Gisele back as the hot tempered Brazilian stunner looks ready to charge Rosie.

The Girls Friday crew leave the ring with their tails between their legs, Kendall has probably been kept away from TV's in their locker room, though she is about to see Dua head into their room looking a mess emotionally as well as physically, will that have any effect on her own psyche going into the title fight later tonight?

In the ring Rosie goes on a victory lap inside the ring, taking in the loud cheers as she is now truly an elite fighter, she blows kisses to the fans when she reaches each corner, Ana applauding her as she looks proud of how far she has come since signing for the Fate's Boxing stable.

Leaving the ring with her coach, Rosie already talking of getting the champagne bottles flowing, Ana tells her they should wait till Emily has fought Kendall and took the title home, arms around the others waist as Rosie has her own bright future to look forwards to now she is back on the winning road.
