Nicola Cavanis versus Alice Goodwin

R1: Nicola Cavanis and Alice Goodwin are a great match - they’re even, and it’s not the Western standoff sort of even - they swing at each other fast and hard. Great action, and great damage. The two women are slugging it out from the beginning, and it seems to be even until Alice makes a mistake late in the round, allowing Nicola to punish her enough to take the round.

R2: The same happens, but with Nicola making a mistake and Alice taking the round instead.

R3: Nicola falters early in the round, which allows Alice to gain the upper hand and land punches into her chest and belly. However, Nicola manages to stabilize later in the round and wall up enough to avoid a round 3 knockdown.

R4: The same happens, but with Alice faltering instead and Nicola taking the round.

R5: The girls are even, slugging it out, throwing punches at the other without much thought or care for defense. They’re both flagging now, hurting and breathing hard, and one particularly hard punch at the end settles the round in Alice’s favor.

R6: The slug continues throughout the sixth round, and it looks like it’s anyone’s game until Alice finally falls onto her back in the third minute, breathing hard but out cold from the knockout punch Nicola slammed into her face. She barely stirs by the time the ref counts to 10.

Winner: Nicola Cavanis via KO6!
