Intro:
Rematch time as Maisie Williams hopes to avenge her fifth round knockout defeat she suffered to Hayden Panettiere last year, both women not used to clashing with other women their size, has Maisie learned enough to defeat the former champion?

Going into the fight both are coming in with a loss, Maisie losing her last two fights with Chloe Moretz knocking her out, while Hayden with two defeats in her last five fights, Cheryl Cole stopping her in a war over two weeks ago, will that play any factor tonight.

Hayden doesn't seem to think so as she talks to the FCBA networks Alicia Atout, telling her "I feel great, yes losing to that windbag Cole wasn't fun, I had a nice rest before getting back into training for this fight, it's funny people act like I am old when I am still in my early thirties, I still recover easily enough" chuckling as she taps her body after working out, wearing a grey tank top to show off her abs.

When asked about Maisie, Hayden replies "I am not going to lose to two beat I have beaten before in a month, Maisie still doesn't impress me, she is full of hype with no substance, fighting me again should be an honour for her because frankly I should let her rot in the mid part of the rankings with the rest of the also runs" shaking her head as she dismisses her opponent, then leaves to go shower.

Maisie meanwhile keeps away from the press, just posting "I am done being a punch bag, time to channel some house of Stark pride" on her social media, talking of her characters family on the hit show Game of Thrones.

Fight night, out first comes Maisie with her coach Ming-Na Wen and cut woman Eva Carneiro, Maisie bouncing on her toes wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, she marches down the aisle when ready after banging her gloves together, her graze firmly on the ring as her supporters chant her name.

Getting into the ring, the hoodie is taken off with help from Ming-Na to reveal a black sports bra with a white "Stark" badge on the left bra cup, black trunks, shoes and gloves, hair braided back, she paces side to side in her corner looking ready to even the score with her opponent.

Hayden comes through the curtain now wearing a red robe with white trim, her coach Virginia Madsen follows as she jogs down the aisle, looking in a more playful mood of the fighters as she cups her ears to listen to the chants of her name as she reaches the ring steps.

Robe is taken off before Panettiere jogs up the ring steps, then steps into the ring, she is wearing a red sports bra with red trim, matching trunks, shoes, along with white gloves with red thumbs, her hair is in a ponytail as she leans on the turnbuckles of her corner getting her arms massaged by Virginia.

Once all the warm ups are finished both fighters come to the middle of the ring, eyes piercing their opponent's as the referee goes through final instructions, when told to touch gloves there's a crack of leather as they bash their gloves into their opponent's with a not so soft touch, then jog back to their corners, when ready the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Coming out their corners on their toes, dancing around the center of the ring with eyes locked, both move in to throw small flurries at each other, testing the others reflexes as it is like watching fencers thrust and step back out of range in the opening moments.

Finally they step in the same time, lashing in two punches each through the others guard, as Maisie moves back Hayden steps in, banging away with two hooks to the body, just missing with an uppercut as the English fighter leans back, popping Hayden to the top of her head with a straight to ward her off as both reset, arguably that's one point up to Hayden in this chess match they are in.

Double jabs fly in as they look for openings, Maisie looking to have the faster hands, starting to gain some control as they head to the middle of the round, Hayden though keeping her aimed towards the ropes, where Maisie finds herself shoved on after she misses with one of her jabs.

Short digging body shots coming in from Hayden, her head down as she outworks Maisie, pinning her to the ropes as she looks to wear down the younger woman, some punches even sneaking around the jugs of Maisie to make her hiss out, the Game of Thrones star barking in effort as she throws her punches back.

At the bell Hayden looks happy enough with her work, jogging back to her corner to be met with a proud nod from Virginia, Maisie tapping her cheeks with her gloves, firing herself up as she returns to her corner, Ming-Na telling her to not be so ridged in her attacks.

Round 2:
Again they trade flurries to start, crowd whistling and cheering them on as they trade, this time as Maisie steps back and Hayden tries to follow in, the younger fighter smartly moves her upper body to dodge a right cross, slamming a straight into the lips of the blonde, then lands a short left cross to her jaw to force back the veteran.

Fighting around the middle of the ring, Hayden is getting clipped more by Maisie then she is landing, forced to cover up more tightly as she eats a one-two combo square into her face, a left hook then digs under her ribs as Maisie begins to work her back onto the ropes with short body shots.

Pushing back Maisie, Hayden comes back at her with a one-two of her own, then a double jab into her chest when Williams tries to come after her, forcing the English fighter to step back, creating space for Panettiere to breath after being under her thumb the first two minutes of the round.

Both letting their hands go more as they fight around the ring, neither gaining much of an upper hand as one lands a good punch and is met with a returning volley to stop their opponents charge, at the bell both bang their gloves together as they turn to their corners, showing annoyance already at facing someone similar to themselves.

Round 3:
Stepping out with their eyes locked they trade stiff punches through the others gloves as they box around the ring, Hayden getting clipped with counter punches, not deterring her from coming forwards as she drills in punches towards the chest of Maisie.

A feint from Hayden opens up Maisie to an uppercut that knocks her opponent to her heels, the "Nashville" star bashing back Maisie into a neutral corner with three clean follow up punches square into her face, causing Maisie to shell up as she starts coming under fire from both flanks.

Pulling Panettiere into a clinch, Maisie looks happy for the respite as the referee steps in to split them up, giving Maisie a chance to get out the corner, once they resume fighting Maisie comes out her shell to trade with her hall of famer rival, both nearly clashing heads when they come in close range to fight.

Thirty seconds to go and things get a little scruffy as they fight hard on the inside, heads grind as the referee watches closely, at the bell the referee steps in to split them up as they looked ready to keep on throwing punches, returning to their corners with Hayden seemingly winning another round.

Round 4:
Maisie starts to use more feints after learning from her own mistake, landing several good counter shots, it is certainly stopping Hayden being as aggressive, making the Foxfire fighter have to think about her attacks more, allowing Williams time to pepper her with two to three punch combos.

But Hayden shows her experience to start reading the feints coming more, stepping in when she sees one to slam a straight into the face of her younger opponent, the first minute goes by with Maisie being pushed back towards the ropes again.

A shove to the face of Hayden let's Maisie get off the ropes, with Williams landing a digging right into the abs of Hayden, she leans out the way of a right cross to counter with a straight under the right eye of Panettiere, causing her head to go back with a little swelling forming under the eye.

Back around the ring goes Hayden now with just under a minute to go, she is being bullied around by Williams, though Panettiere is blocking a good amount of the punches coming her way, firing single punches back to keep Maisie honest.

When the round ends Maisie jogs to her corner looking a little more relaxed, Hayden not looking worried at all as she walks to her own corner, Virginia and her talking strategy now Maisie is trying something different, they bump fists as Hayden gets up from her stool ready for the next round.

Round 5:
Reading Maisie's movements better now, Hayden is stepping in more at the right time, snapping back the head of Maisie as she shows that experience that makes her a flyweight legend, Maisie getting a little more lax in her defence as she tries to land a big punch to ward off Hayden, an uppercut snaps her head back as sweat goes flying.

Punches starting to now knock around Maisie's head, she goes to clinch but a left to her chest pushes her back, THEN A RIGHT LANDS TO THE TEMPLE TO ROCK BACK MAISIE, THEN A LEFT HOOK ON THE BUTTON SENDS MAISIE DOWN TO HER BACK!

What a punch! Maisie staring at the lights as the count begins, 1...2...3... Maisie has her gumshield hanging out her mouth, 4...5...6...7.. Maisie laying spread eagle on the canvas, 8...9...10 that's it! Maisie is counted out!

Winner Hayden Panettiere KO Round 5

After:
"You ain't good enough honey to play at my level!" Yells Hayden as she comes over to Maisie and stares at her, Maisie blinking looking confused what happened as the winner raises her arms in the air to a loud cheer from the crowd, Hayden then marching to her corner to be washed down by her coach.

Over comes Ming-Na with the ring side doctor getting into the ring to check on Maisie, helping her slowly onto her stool as Maisie holds her heads with her left glove, feeling that knockout blow as she looks in disbelief at not getting revenge on Hayden, not turning things around tonight as she hoped for.

Instead she is soon being helped out the ring for more tests, her legs shaky as Ming-Na has to act like a crutch for her, Eva holding the ropes as she looks worried, there's a round of applause for her effort tonight, again though it isn't good enough, Maisie stares at the ground with a bewildered look of what can she do to turn her career around.

As Maisie disappears into the backstage area, in the ring Hayden is cleaned up and now has her right hand raised by the referee, she smiles warmly as she gets a loud cheer from her supporters, Hayden flexing her left arm to the crowd.

Then she is posing for the cameras with hands on her hips along with a stern look, as if to tell the rest of the division that she is far from done kicking their asses, Virginia hugging her afterwards looking proud of her fighter sweeping aside Maisie in the end after a good little back and forth.

They then leave the ring with Hayden all smiles, it'll be interesting to see whose next for the Hall of Famer, maybe even a title shot before too long if she can build a head of steam up, Virginia certainly is telling her she is still one of the best she has ever seen as they head through the curtain.
