BEFORE:
Bit of a see-saw moment for Emma Roberts, who took an important win over hated rival Avril Lavigne at the start of the year before falling to Jessica Lowndes just last month. Today, she faces off against Cierra Ramirez, whom she actually shares multiple common interests once you compare their scorecards on paper: Ramirez herself floored Lavigne in under six rounds back in April before ALSO losing to the current Flyweight champion, Olivia Holt, just a month later.

It could be for these reasons that Emma looks far from intimidated when she enters the press hall earlier on, taking a seat at the table with a pair of dark shades covering her face and a smirk pasted below.

"We've all seen what Cierra did to Avril earlier this year, and if you haven't...what the hell are you waiting for? Go see it RIGHT NOW! It is HILARIOUS. So yes, I know she's a dangerous opponent, she has the power and the attitude. Brains though? Skill? Not nearly as much. She's very lacking on those fronts. And that's all there is to it. I'm going to, again, prove why I'm the top Doll by doing to Cierra exactly what she did to Avril, and by that I mean - knock her freaking lights out."

Ramirez having walked into the room earlier also looking cocky as hell, her toned tummy bared in a black tube top and long pants streaked with blood red. She may have fallen to Holt in her last bout, but let’s not forget that the American polished off Natalia Dyer and Michelle Williams just months before that unfortunate loss.

"You should watch what I did to Avril for sure, but make sure to also watch what I'll be doing to Emma later tonight, ok? I mean, sure, Avril is pretty soft but your scrawny ass looks even weaker to me, Emma. I bet your punches mostly tickle. MY punches though? They'll make you regret even showing up to the fight, hon. Just ask Avril."

Strong words from either side as the two ladies continue to roll their eyes at each other’s direction throughout the press conference. Later, when they pose near the podium, Emma’s one-inch height advantage is mostly negligible, with girls looking toned and ready to rock. No shake of hands, of course - neither girl even offered - as they scowl at each other and then turn back around to march to their respective corners.

Later, in the ring, both fighters are behaving similarly, ignoring the other girl after climbing through the ropes, before flashing their gloves into the air to acknowledge the cheers from the crowds. Emma Roberts draws hoots and whistles as she lets her white robe fall off both her shoulders, revealing a similarly-coloured white and pink sports bra and boxing tights, wearing white and pink gloves. Cierra has gone for a red bikini top and black tights that are cut off high enough to show off those tanned thick thighs of hers, completing the look with matching black gloves on her hands.

The referee finally signals for the bell to start and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Coming off a big loss, Roberts cannot afford to lose this one, especially after saying that she plans to do better than Avril did. The Doll marches out of her corner with her head already bobbing and weaving behind her raised gloves, making sure to avoid a close-quarters brawl with the Latina girl after watching tapes of her blowing other fighters clean off their feet - sometimes girls almost double her size. Cierra on the hand is moving forth like she has zero fear of the blonde’s punching power, streaking in and immediately throwing punches at Roberts’ direction. Ramirez definitely has more confidence coming into this fight as she nails Roberts with a couple of fast ones to her arms first, but she’s already having actual trouble scoring on her foe’s skin. Roberts ain’t no Avril, that’s for sure, and Cierra is finding that fact out the hard way: each swing at the Doll’s head is easily dodged and then returned as Roberts fires back with a steady stream of jabs to her face. Whereas Cierra faced off against a wild and often untamed Lavigne, Emma looks entirely focused as she bites the younger girl’s head off with small but effective nibbles, with Roberts ending the round with a final punt to the nose that knocks the Latina’s head back with a grunt. Solid round for the Doll as she shows off why experience trumps youth!

ROUND 2:
This “bee-like” hit-and-run strategy seems to be paying off thus far, with Cierra again rushing in early to try her luck a second time. Talk about youthful stubbornness, as Cierra’s losses and painful hits to her face in the previous round have not deterred the young Latina from trying to blast Roberts clean off her feet. Emma’s employing the same tactics at first, moving fast and jabbing back at her face, but Cierra has also gotten a taste of the Doll’s firepower, or lack thereof, shrugging off another one-two combo that first sting her to the lips, to wade in regardless and BURY a shot clean into Emma’s body! UGhhG! Roberts gets SHOCKED to her system, her body bent over as the tummy-punch connects! And things only go downhill from there on out! Cierra hammers away on the Doll’s frame with equal parts glee, other parts malice, taking pot-shots at Emma’s sides and the occasional bashing hook sent across her arms to send her reeling. Roberts is doing her best to get the f*ck away, but an errant hook lands on the side of her head, further throwing the petite blonde into the ropes. Ramirez’ power is on full display as she NAILS the Doll once more to the side of the face, which SENDS EMMA DOWN!! What a show of dominance from the Latina Knockouts sensation! Emma hits the mat hard, left floored on her side by the ropes, still alive and sputtering back to her knees, her pretty face choke full of shock and bewilderment. Meanwhile, Cierra is already pumping her fists to the crowd with a big smile, that never-say-die attitude paying off dividends early! But if she was looking for a quick and easy end here tonight, Emma Roberts clearly disappoints, climbing slowly but steadily back to her feet with the help of the ropes, recovering her wits as she gets all the way up by the count of 8. Luckily for the Doll this round is over and the humbled blonde can slowly make her way back to her corner safely…for now.

ROUND 3:
Ramirez lets out a warrior’s shout and dashes in once more, hoping to have her lightning strike more than once! The young Latina is a little ball of energy, throwing fast combos at Emma and then trying to swivel her head off its hinges by aiming more hooks for her chin. But Roberts has faced (and defeated) tougher opponents than this upstart brunette before, doesn’t allow herself to get cornered like last time or surprised by one of Cierra’s punches. Instead, Cierra is fast losing steam to the constant three rounds of rushing towards her foe, a third combo missing entirely as Roberts weaves her head backwards to avoid, before punting a straight hand into her cheek as wicked payback. The Doll still has to dodge rapidly to avoid another comeback coming in fast from Cierra, but her persistence pays off, and Emma NAILS her again with a shot to the base of the chin, which sends Cierra steaming off from whence she came! Roberts not giving chase - not yet, at least, satisfied with losing in terms of points if it means keeping herself from making another grave error so soon. Close round ends up in Cierra’s corner still, but the young Latina doesn’t look too happy with the overall result.

ROUND 4:
Emma slowly turns the tide here, keeping Cierra’s rapidly wilting form at bay with a constant stream of attacks whenever she tries to get too near. Roberts is busy hitting her marks with her patience and precision, making Cierra grunt as she squeezes another right hand straight between the arms and above one of the Latina’s eyes. Ramirez did her best to try and break the Doll’s defences early on in the fight, but it hasn’t worked as well as she’d hoped, now paying the price as her attacks are easily dodged and then returned with burnt fire, Emma taking a page or two from some her past opponents and counter-punching with effect. Close of the round and Cierra finally gets the memo, decides to stay away for now and exchange combos with Emma from afar. Finally, the Knockouts starlet sees results, scoring with a nice hit to Emma’s arms but then another quick flurry landing on the blonde’s body, making Emma draw further backwards with an overabundance of caution. Close round goes back to Roberts, but she can just as easily have her lead slip away if she ain’t careful.

ROUND 5:
Cierra slowly moves in again, having regained her breath enough, but not that much, apparently well enough though to take another crack at Roberts’ defences. Emma has some trouble fending her assault off early on, growling with menace as Cierra begins targeting her body in order to drive the air out of her and further sap her of her remaining stamina. Ramirez’ strength lies in her youthful energy, after all? But a third such hop-in and flurry sees less results, with Roberts dipping her guard low and blocking the combination easily, before the Doll quickly sends a hook clean across the Latina’s face, drawing a surprised GASP from Ramirez’ lips! Ugh! Cierra didn’t see that one coming! Her attack strategy is blunted, with Emma’s power sending her stumbling to the side, and this time, HERE ROBERTS COMES!! Cierra in panic mode, raising her arms haphazardly, trying to block the incoming swings and swishes… but Emma is targeting her head with perseverance, keeps her right arm pulled back before sending her fist barreling inwards over and over again into the arms… Cierra gets caught by a right hook eventually and soon enough, which sends her FLYING off her feet and downwards! What a return KNOCKDOWN for Emma Roberts! Ramirez flies a couple feet into the air and then back down, landing flat on her face as she groans into the canvas! Roberts immediately lets out a roar of triumph, a well-deserved KO attempt and what’s sure to be redemptive relief for the Doll. Ramirez left sputtering, trying to raise her head off the ground, and push back to all fours. The Latina fans are doing her favours, cheering her name from the rafters, encouraging her not to give up. Not as if Cierra is paying attention, of course, as she slowly pushes her way up to her feet by the count of 9. It’s a valiant attempt to fight on, but there’s still two minutes left on the clock, as the referee waves his hand to continue!

Roberts comes in steadily once more, this time playing the role of aggressor, hoping to press her advantage and do so fast and furious. She bashes a combo straight into Cierra’s arms, pushing the smaller girl back into the ropes and pinning her there for the foreseeable future, with Cierra covering up best she can but unable to deflect Roberts’ steady stream of punches that are streaking in and out of her body, smacking her to the arms and off the top of her forehead. Suddenly, Ramirez tries a push forward with a step-in swing and hook that’s aimed high for Emma’s head, hoping to stun her with surprise. Roberts, however, DASHES her head to one side in an expert display of agility, thereby dodging Cierra’s attack with grace before ROCKING her back with her own hook sent clean across her face, and THAT SEEMS TO BE IT! Ramirez slumps back into the ropes as though her strings are cut! AND EMMA POUNCES on the bewildered girl, jumping in and WAILING AWAY with lefts and rights across her pretty little face, with Cierra groaning, wide-eyed and slack-jawed, her back sliding down the ropes an inch after inch after every punch connects, her head tossed side to side in wicked punishment until the referee FINALLY steps in to stop the abuse!! It’s ALL OVER!!

Official Decision: Emma Roberts defeats Cierra Ramirez via TKO5!

AFTER:
Wow! Expert dismantling of her opponent tonight by the ‘Ice Queen’ who’s back in top form after her less than optimal performance against Lowndes last month, rendering the heavier and stronger Ramirez useless in less than 5 rounds with patient and accurate offense, not to mention showing off some of her impeccable agility on defense (at least in the later rounds)!

Emma not looking satisfied in the least by this stoppage though, the ‘Ice Queen’ sneers as she quickly takes off her gloves, throwing them aside before grabbing Cierra’s black hair and YANKING the poor girl out of the referee’s hands by her hair. The barely conscious Latina is thrown down to the mat like a discarded rag, with Roberts taking her place towering above the fallen girl, placing her boot on the LMW star’s chest as she raises her arms, an evil smirk on her face, enjoying the mix of wild cheers and boos sounding throughout the arena as she takes a few long moments to pose over her prey, allowing anyone and everyone to commemorate the moment with their phones and cameras.

“AND *THIS* IS HOW IT’S DONE….PATHETIC!” Emma shouts at the cameras, clearly mocking her stable-rival’s failure at handling Ramirez mere months ago. The blodne finally decides she’s had her moment, leaving Cierra alone and strutting back to her corner to celebrate with her team, allowing her opponent some much needed medical attention.

It’s Ramirez’ second loss in a row and the rising star who made headlines with huge wins at the start of the year will have to find the right opposition to allow herself to bounce back. But for someone who just came close to knocking out Emma Roberts in 2 rounds, we’re sure this is not going to be too difficult of a task.

Meanwhile, the victorious Doll makes a beeline towards the backstage, ignoring everyone and everything on her way out, including reporters swarming her with questions about future fights. It seems like the ‘Ice Queen’ wants to keep people guessing for the time being, but we’re looking forward to seeing her in action again as soon as possible!
