Welterweights Jennifer Lawrence (Chimera) vs Sabrina Lynn (Revolution) (result Lookout/words Ginny)

Lawrence: (30 y/o; 5'8"; 135#,38-28-1; w/35 KO's)
Lynn: (23 y/o; 5'10"; 136#; 2-0-0; w/2 KO's)

Factoid: Lawrence was FCBA Welterweight Champion Sept. to Dec. 2020.
Factoid: Lawrence won a 2012 Oscar as Best Actress in Silver Linings Playbook)
Factoid: In 2016, Lynn began modeling and Lawrence starred in X-men: Apocalypse.

Before: "I don't know anything about Jen's opponent," trainer Charlize Theron said in her recent interview with Tess Valmore. "No one from Chimera saw her first fight (Diletta) and there wasn't much to see when she fought Menounos, who really didn't give Lynn much of a challenge. I have to admit we're all worried about this fight, not because of how good Sabrina Lynn has looked, but how bad she looked! Nobody gets into the FCBA with no talent, so while I don't know the Mysterious Man behind Revolution Boxing, I'm pretty sure he's no dummy when it comes to finding talent.

"Lynn showed us a couple of things in the videos we've been able to study: she hits hard with a great right uppercut; and she can take a lot of punishment, judging from that first fight. I remember my early years, coming back to the locker room my face mask of blood, or both eyes nearly closed from punches. It's never easy breaking into this sport and the fact Lynn stuck with it, tells me a lot about her. I warned Jen not to take this girl lightly...I hope she takes my advice."

Sabrina Lynn is very secretive about her personal and dating life and declined an interview with Tractorpull Magazine when they requested a sit-down with her. It's unclear if she is dating or is romantically involved with anyone, but she doesn't have children and is fully focused on building a brand for herself. She mostly uploads photos of herself having a good time in different places and seems to be enjoying life on her own terms.

Lynn's kept a low profile in FCBA since her stunning upset over Diletta using what has been called "a miracle punch out of nowhere." She followed that with a "day at the beach" snooze with over-matched Maria Menuonos, so Lynn remains as much of a mystery to FCBA fans as she appears to be to Theron. An informal survey by Tractorpull of FCBA managers and trainers received only 12 replies, ranging from "who?" to "way too early to tell." Only one trainer - who asked to remain anonymous - gave a positive review. "Da goil hits like a ton o' bricks. If she gets sumbuddy knows how to fix 'er terrible feet da kid cud be a freakin' star."

Sabrina's sole claim to fame pre-FCBA was her Internet presence as a model and "influencer". Whether she can "influence" Lawrence the way she did her last two opponents remains to be seen, but one thing that is "must see" is Lynn's portfolio. Looking at the "seductive and sexy" photos of Sabrina in bikini's, or less, leaves no doubt her body type is capable of delivering knockout blows. What she needs to show is ... can she do it in the ring as well as she does in the photo studio?

While Sabrina Lynn is enjoying her time in the spotlight after two unexpected wins, Jennifer "J-Law" Lawrence was hiding from the public, the media, and even some stablemates after her appearance at the FCBA picnic...in what has become known within one stable (Lookout!) as the "Fourth of July Massacre." Lawrence and Hoopes did Chimera no favors with Hoopes rolling around in the mud with Kate Upton, followed by Lawrence's "cameo" with Brooklyn Decker afterward.

Pictures of Lawrence topless and Hoopes wearing even less, quickly appeared on social media platforms - despite the FCBA's efforts to quash them. Lawrence, as she has in the past when embarrassing photos of her became public, admitted that, "Yes, that's my chest" in the photos, but she placed all the blame on Decker. "But I had no hand in that," she said, refusing to comment further.

Her friend Samantha Hoopes was caught out by a TMZ reporter who showed her a cellphone photo of a blonde, with little to no apparel, in a cheap motel room - a blond with an amazing resemblance to Hoopes. When told the poor quality of the photo was because it was taken from an Australian newspaper and too pixilated to reproduce in high quality, Hoopes blurted out, "Then that d*mn sure isn't me!" Hoopes, indignant and red-faced, added churlishly, "I've never even BEEN to Australia; so how could I get my picture taken in a sleazy motel there?"

Sabrina struts down the aisle to the ring wearing a very sexy leopard print bikini with red gloves and red boots, her red hair pulled back into a saucy ponytail. Lawrence - with a retinue of Theron, Vergara and Hendricks - is clearly taking this fight seriously after her "exposure" at the picnic. She's in a black full coverage bottom, sturdy black top with shoulder straps and black mid-calf boots. Gloves: red for Lynn; black for Lawrence complete their monochrome palettes.
* * * *
During Rd 1: Lawrence out quickly looking to put her stamp on the rookie; pumping the jab in Sabrina's face to force the redhead back to her corner. There, J-Law sets up with her left shoulder between the redhead's breasts, leaning on Lynn to pin her against the turnbuckle while Jen hammers right hands to her body!
Referee slow to act, finally breaks them apart, pushing Lawrence back to mid-ring, giving Lynn a chance to catch her breath and tug at her top which had been pushed askew during the jostling in the Revolution corner. Lawrence quickly back in, getting on top of Sabrina to, again, hammer the body of the young redhead. Sabrina wilting under the veteran's unrelenting pressure, unable to set herself or get into any kind or rhythm or pace. Sabrina landing one punch, then missing two when Lawrence refuses to sit back and trade, the blonde Chimera fighter applying pressure that Lynn can't handle, slowly wilting under the steady drumbeat of body shots from Lawrence.
J-Law rampaging on autopilot, having her way with the youngster until...in the closing seconds Lynn lands one of the uppercuts everyone's talked about since the Diletta fight! LAWRENCE IS HURT! JEN'S ON QUEER STREET! Lynn, wide-eyed with excitement, throws herself at the wobbly blonde, throwing punches from every point of the compass instead of taking her time and making every one count. Jen, blinking rapidly behind her raised gloves stumbles backing away, blocking as best she can. Knowing the clock is running out and there's only seconds left, Sabrina Lynn is imagining the headlines of her stunning first round KO of an A-list celebrity.
Lynn's last second thunderclap turns what had been a one-sided Lawrence round into a close one - a round Jen Lawrence may have been lucky to have escaped still on her feet!

Rd 2: Chimera corner in chaos in the interval, Theron and Hendricks working to clear J-Law's head while across the ring Sabrina refuses the stool to stand in her corner leaning on the turnbuckles, smiling as she sees the panic on Theron's face.
Referee brings them out at the bell and Lawrence throws a sucker-punch right that glances off Lynn's forehead when she ducks at the last second, just barely avoiding an embarrassing knockdown-or worse. Jen follows the punch in, falling in to clinch, wrapping her arms around Lynn's chest, wrestling her back against the ropes. Jen slapping Lynn's flanks as the big redhead squirms and wriggles trying to free herself, feeling her advantage slipping away with every passing second.
Sabrina gets a referee break, then pushes Lawrence away and whistles a cuffing left hook off of Jen's right shoulder onto her right cheek. With Jen in retreat, Sabrina pursues with criss-crossing punches that land only glancing blows to J-Law's forearms, biceps and shoulders as she holds a high guard to shield her face from further harm. LAWRENCE IS HURT AGAIN!
Another right uppercut to her left breast stuns J-Law and she's once again forced to grab, hold and clinch to avoid further harm. As they sway belly-to-belly, Lynn pummels Lawrence's flanks with both fists, using her long legs to push Lawrence back against the ropes in the Chimera corner. Sabrina cuffs J-Law upside the head with either hand, rocking her back and forth along the ropes as Theron and Vergara scream at the referee to break it up until he finally does.
Girls trade right hands after the break, with Lynn getting slightly better of the exchange when she follows with a left hook that sends Jen stutter-stepping to her left. Lynn stepping with, misses with a huge uppercut that misses so badly, she stumbles off balance past Lawrence. Jen, slow to react, can only slap Lynn's back as Sabrina falls into the ropes headfirst at the bell.
Sabrina missed several chances to do even more damage, but her control of the action - and Lawrence's lack of a substantial offense - won Lynn the round wide!

Rd 3: Lawrence rebounds to open the action, starting fast to put pressure on Lynn; smothering Sabrina's attempts at offense. Sabrina put up stubborn, spirited, resistance, however J-Law kept pumping the jab in Lynn's face which obviously bothered her. When Jen unleashed her right it did damage and Lynn's left eye was a reliable target since Sabrina dropped her left hand after hooking Jen's body.
Like Lawrence's own right, Sabrina's right hand also landed, but after Jennifer had felt the power in it she adjusted her defense; keeping her left at her chin and moving in close at every opportunity, lessening distance to hinder Lynn's power. As a result, the damage done by both was done up close and, often they exchanged four, five, or six blows before either moved her feet. It made this round easier for Lawrence who moveed in-and-out or side-to-side easily while Sabrina seemed at times had to think about what she wanted to do with her feet before moving them.
JEN'S HURT! Once again Lynn's uppercut caught Lawrence, sending her backward in a daze late in the round! With Jen's back on the ropes, Sabrina leaned on Jen's chest using her height and stong arms to pound Jen's belly, then lift uppercuts through the valley ofn Jen's quaking breasts to knock the veteran's head back!
While Sabrina was head-hunting, the more experienced Lawrence kept her head in motion leaning back or bending sideways to escape the full impact of Lynn's punches, chopping her own right down over Sabrina's left shoulder to scuff up the redhead. At the bell, Sabrina's left eye was swollen enough for her trainer to reach for the Endswell. A good round for both, but the judges give the nod to Lynn - close.

Rd 4: Theron in Jennifer's ear between rounds and when Lawrence steps out for the fourth, she has a new plan - one she'd execute with skill and determination. Moving to her right; pumping the straight left; Jen pecked away like a determined woodpecker at Sabrina's swollen left eye. Lynn, throwing right hand bombs, never found the range as Lawrence continually stayed mobile circling away toward Lynn's left. Early on, Jen caught Sabrina flush with a left hook and LYNN IS HURT!
J-Law quickly went on the attack, hammering her left into Sabrina's body, then coming over the top with a right that crashed into the side of Lynn's face! SABRINA'S STAGGERED...CLINCHING! Lawrence shrugs her off and shoves the reeling redhead back to the ropes where Sabrina tries to rope-a-dope but her attempt is ineffective as she isn't moving her upper body, just standing in open spot swaying to-and-fro.
Jennifer Lawrence taking her time, cuffing aside Sabrina's hands, then driving her straight right into Lynn's face. Time and again, the redhead is slammed back onto the ropes only to be thrown back toward Lawrence again. Jen digging series of lefts to the body to soften Lynn up, then slamming a couple of rights to the head to do the real damage. Lynn's corner leaning on the apron, one of them holding a towel, but they're not throwing it in...not yet!
Lawrence doing a professional job of breaking down an opponent, not rushing or taking wild or unnecessary punches; each is aimed with precision and forethought; each one according to her plan for the cause and effect. Lynn fading, but Jen's not in a hurry - it's almost like she is enjoying herself, or perhaps she's putting on an exhibition - or sending a message to some future opponent(s) perhaps.
In the closing seconds, one of several Lawrence right hands buckles Lynn's knees and DOWN GOES LYNN! Sabrina slips down the ropes to sit on the bottom strand; elbows hooked over the middle rope with blood is running from a cut above her left eye, her nose is dribbling blood. The referee moves in to send J-Law to the far corner and start to count, but it only gets to FOUR! Sabrina Lynn is saved by the bell as Jen Lawrence, "cranking it up to 10" rips off the fourth round wide!

Rd 5: Revolutions' corner team scrambling to resurrect their battered fighter and - all credit to Lynn's toughness - she's upright; bloodied, but unbowed, just before the bell for the fifth round!
Jen Lawrence has been criticized in the past for "lacking killer attitude". Now, she's got Sabrina hurt, perhaps badly, so the question is, "Can J-Law finish her or will she let her off the hook as happened with others?" [See DiDonato (Mar 2019) and Righetti (Oct 2019) for examples]. The answer may determine Jen's FCBA future. There are young, eager, fighters vying for slots in the big, important welter fights but few A-list opponents to be found outside the Top Ten! (But then, there's always JMD/D, beach bouts, mud wrestling or AHW if all Jen wants is action instead of titles!)
Jen stalking Sabrina who crabs sideways along the relative safety of the ropes, feeling secure with them against her back as she blinks rapidly and rolls her neck trying to clear her head before Lawrence can ring her bell once more. Lawrence cutting off the ring, cornering Lynn, then stepping in behind another clubbing overhand right that shakes Sabrina to her core and puts a little shimmy in her thighs as her knees buckle ever so slightly. A snapping left hook takes Lynn high on the head, tilting her to her left...right into a curling right cross to the redhead's left ear.
SABRINA'S HURT...IN TROUBLE! Lawrence with another left hook...then a straight right to the redhead's unprotected chin as her hands drop...Lynn's long legs unhinge and she puddles at Jen Lawrence's feet then slowly topples over onto her left side in front of the referee. He immediately waves off the count and stops the fight with a minute and change left in the 5th round. J-Law's dominant close-out of Sabrina Lynn gives her a well-deserved KO5 win!

After: Jen stands over Sabrina for a moment, enjoying the sight of the big redhead spread out beneath her, then turns her back and walks briskly to her corner while the 'Revolutionaries' scramble into the ring to recover the body of their fallen gladiatrix and bring her back to sentience.

In the Chimera corner, Jen's teammates are joining Theron, Vergara and Hendricks to celebrate J-Law's victory, but Jen only wants to have her gloves removed so she can go back to Sabrina. Once she's doffed her gloves, Jen walks over to Lynn, who is slumped groggily on her stool. Jen kneels in front of Sabrina, her forearms on Lynn's thighs and talks briefly to her, then leans in and cups the back of Lynn's head and put her forehead to Lynns and says something to her. Lynn reaches up to pat Jen on the leg and nods slowly. Jen stands and heads back to her corner.

Media: Lawrence said, "That big redhead reminds me a little bit of Righetti. I mean, she's more Righetti than Gillan right now in how hard she hits - but I haven't fought Karen yet. Sabrina's got the basic skills down, but she needs a few fights under her belt and some more experience. With her size and strength, she'll be a load for anyone in a year or two."

Sabrina told the press, "I had a lot more fighter on my hands than I expected, but then it's only my third fight. I want to say how much I appreciated Jen coming over to me immediately after the fight to tell me how impressed she was with my fight. She told me to keep working and I'd be a big star in a few years. That felt good."
