(Downunder Boxing vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The main event of this ACB card sees the ACB flyweight title on the line in Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium, Dannii Minogue looks to add another title to her résumé against the defending champion Bonnie Sveen.

Dannii is 46 years old; she stands 5'2 and holds a record of 13 wins, all by knockout and only 5 defeats, she is a former AWUBA super bantamweight champion.

Bonnie is 29 years old, she stands 5'4 ¼ and holds a record of 7 wins, all by knockout and 1 defeat, she is the current ACB flyweight champion, this is her first defence.

This is a fight that has been brewing for months, scheduling problems kept arising till finally they agreed to fight on this card.

Green & Gold's Sarah Cumming interviewed both fighters in their dressing rooms before the fight after both women had made public threats to the other that they'd smack each other if they met before the fight to give this a real grudge feel.

Dannii was sitting on a bench in her stables locker room getting her hands taped up by her trainer Nikki Visser, she looks ultra focused as Sarah waits for her to be finished.

When she is done; Dannii is asked how she is feeling about this fight, Dannii answers "I am feeling great, I have been the face of boxing in Australia the best decade for a reason you know, I win fights like this with ease, while Bonnie is a nobody"

She adds "the one thing I will give Bonnie is her punching power, I have fought women like her plenty of times though so that doesn't scare me one bit, it's up to her to beat me"

Dannii waves for Sarah to leave her now, then talks with Nikki on tactics as Sarah has to step out the room and heads down the hall of the stadium to go find Bonnie's locker room.

Where when she steps into it; Sarah finds Ariel Kaplan holding the pads up for Bonnie to hit, with the champ nodding to her friend so she can tell Sarah her feelings.

"Look I have to fully focus on this fight, I hate Dannii; I truly do after all the shit she has said about me, but I do respect what she has done and can do in a ring, I promise you though that I will knock Dannii out and if she retires afterwards, well I won't shed a tear for her" says Bonnie as she nods at Sarah to leave.

Fight night; out comes Dannii to a loud roar as she struts towards the ring with Nikki behind her, Dannii looks cool and confident as she gives the crowd a quick wave.

She is wearing a baby blue sports bra, trunks with red stripes up the sides, baby blue gloves with red thumbs and blue shoes, her brunette hair is in a ponytail.

Stepping into the ring; Dannii heads straight to her corner, where she begins limbering up as her and Nikki about the fight.

Now the champ comes out; Bonnie has Ariel by her side as she heads to the ring, Bonnie has the title around her waist as heads down the aisle.

She is wearing an orange sports bra, matching trunks, boots and gloves, while her blonde hair is braided for battle.

Climbing into the ring; Bonnie gets Ariel to take the belt from around her waist, with the brunette holding the belt up for the crowd as Bonnie warms up with her eyes only on her opponent.

After the fighters are warmed up; they are waved to the center of the ring, the referee stays between the fighters as the final instructions are read out, both women exchanging cold stares as the hate is palatable.

The fighters don't touch gloves when prompted, with the referee giving both fighters one last look at the title before they head back to their corners, ready to start 10 rounds of ACB flyweight title action.

Round 1:
"Ding" out come the fighters with both circling early and trading jabs, Dannii keeping on the move so Bonnie can't pin her to the ropes as they trade.
When Bonnie tries to step forwards; Dannii sidesteps her and lands a counter right across her cheek, then gets on the move.
Dannii's plan is simple; keep Bonnie from landing her power shots by staying out the firing line, only taking glancing shots from the blonde.
The champ does manage to catch Dannii with a left cross, powering forwards with her punches nearly knocking the gloves of Minogue into her face.
But Dannii slips under a right cross; working the body of the champ before she moves into space, as Bonnie looks pissed off as she can't get a measure of her opponent.
Both landing single punches as they move around the ring, till Dannii tries to dip down again, this time Bonnie catches her with a left across her head.
The round ends though before Bonnie can push on, Dannii smiling as she jogs back to her corner, Nikki praises her as they chat about the round.

Round 2:
Dannii keeps on the move as Bonnie keeps trying to get into her rivals face, instead getting counter punched as Dannii looks to be keeping to the left side of the champ.
Bonnie looking frustrated as she can't land her power punches, the veteran outboxing her as she lands to the side of the blondes head.
Till Bonnie shoves Dannii back with her left shoulder and begins pounding the abs of the singer, making her groan out as she powers her towards the ropes.
But Dannii uses her left forearm under the chin of Bonnie to begin pushing her back, she smacks two rights across the cheek of the actress to knock her back.
The veteran getting back on the move as Sveen stalks her around the ring again, both trading single punches as they measure each other up.
Bonnie tries to land a left hook that Dannii slips under, with Dannii coming up with an uppercut to push Bonnie onto her heels 
The remainder of the round sees Dannii force Bonnie behind her guard as she hammers away at the gloves of the champ.
The bell rings to end the round with Bonnie staring a hole through Dannii, who smiles at her coach as she heads to her corner, claiming this fight is a cakewalk.

Round 3:
Dannii sticks to her game plan, frustrating Bonnie further as she keeps jabbing at the gloves and cheeks of her opponent, causing the left cheek of Sveen to look puffy.
As Dannii goes to work on the body of Bonnie; she gets caught to the top of her head with a straight, then as Minogue goes to step back; Bonnie hits her with a left across the top of her head.
Bonnie finally gets Dannii where she wants her, with the champ pressing forwards with her punches starting to drill through the gloves of the challenger to knock her head back.
Dannii tries to fight back; but she doesn't seem able to match the power of the champ, who slams a right hook across her cheek to send Dannii onto the ropes.
Where Dannii covers up as Bonnie has her head down as she works the body, making the brunette gasp out as the air is driven out of her.
Dannii is forced to clinch up with Bonnie, both fighters trading venom loud insults as Bonnie presses Dannii onto the ropes.
The fighters are separated and Dannii works off the back foot, with Bonnie stalking her around the ring, leading to both landing stiff shots as they go.
The round ends with Bonnie heard to tell Dannii "no more running bytch!" As Dannii turns around and shakes her backside at her in reply to upset the blonde.
Sitting on her stool; Dannii admits that was a terrible round, but brushes it off as a one off as Nikki warns her not to take this fight lightly.
While across the ring Bonnie looks a little more relaxed, though as she bangs her gloves together, she is itching to get back out to work.

Round 4:
Bonnie looks to get into the face of Dannii, leading to both women trading more punches in bunches as they try to take control of the action.
When Bonnie tries to swing a left cross; Dannii dips down and comes up with an overhand right, followed by a left across the lips of the blonde.
Bonnie steps back and finds herself getting worked to the body as Dannii goes on the attack, with Sveen needing to shove her back to open up space.
Dannii looks to turn the screw on her opponent, striking the champ through her gloves with straight punches blooding the bottom lip of Sveen.
As she tries to press forwards though; Bonnie parries a straight and lands a right across the chin of Dannii to turn her head, with Bonnie now coming on the front foot.
The fighters go toe to toe in the center of the ring, Bonnie catches Dannii across the top of her head though and steps in tight with two hooks under the ribs of the challenger to make her groan out.
The round ends with both girls exchanging insults as they glare at each other, the referee needing to order both back to their corners.
Bonnie sits down on her stool and her coach tells her to step things up when she gets the chance, with Bonnie glad to be getting her lips cleaned up.
In the Downunder corner, things are a little more busy as Dannii sits and takes a deep breath, getting annoyed that she can't stop Bonnie getting at her.

Round 5:
Both women start off the round with jabbing attacks, Dannii looking to slip inside to work as she keeps moving side to side.
As Dannii tries to dip down and move inside, Bonnie catches her out though with a double jab to the top of her head and as Dannii moves back, Bonnie lands an uppercut that rocks the challenger back.
Dannii looks to tighten her guard as she finds herself under fire from the champ, Bonnie drilling her gloves with hard shots.
Before she leans out the way of Dannii's right cross, instead landing a straight to the top of her opponent's head, then a left hook slams into the cheek of Minogue.
The brunette finds herself on the ropes, where Bonnie has her head down and thuds her short sharp punches into the ribs of the challenger.
When Dannii tries to clinch up; Bonnie slams a left across her eyebrow that opens a cut up above the brow, Dannii cries out and ends up getting back behind her guard.
The bell rings to end the round with Bonnie marching back to her corner with her head held high, while Dannii wipes blood from her eye that has come from her bloody brow.
The Downunder corner needing to get to work to patch up that eye, with Nikki telling her "don't dare throw this opportunity away, you know how to pull this around!"

Round 6:
Dannii looks to be hoping to catch Bonnie coming in, keeping her guard high and herself on the move to not allow Bonnie to run straight through her.
The champ surprises her though by feinting and then landing a left across that cut to open up the guard of Dannii, WITH HER WALKING FORWARDS WITH AN UPPERCUT THAT KNOCKS DANNII STRAIGHT ONTO HER BACK!
The crowd roar as Dannii lays on her back and Bonnie screams at Minogue to stay down, before she is nudged by the referee to go to a neutral corner.
1...2...3 Dannii groans and spits out her gumshield, 4...5...6 she lays spread eagle as her eyes are shut, 7...8...9...10 ending up being counted out!

Winner and still ACB flyweight champion Bonnie Sveen KO Round 6

After:
Another brutal knockout to add to the list for Bonnie, who flexes her arms as she struts around the ring to a loud roar from her loving fans.

All the while that Dannii continues to lay flat on her back, the ringside doctor uses smelling salts to waken her up, where Dannii holds her head as she is helped to sit up.

Dannii looks shaky as she is helped up, making the doctor order Dannii to be taken out the ring with help from her coach.

Tears run down Dannii's eyes as this is most likely the last chance at the ACB title she has, with questions now whether retirement might be on the cards.

In the ring; Bonnie hugs Ariel before turning to get her hand raised by the referee and the title handed to her, a beaming smile on her face.

Bonnie flexes her right arm as she has the title on her other shoulder, Ariel joking with her friend as they discuss how she looks with her swollen lip and cheek.

The champ heads to the ring center and holds her title up for the fans to see, a round of cheers greets her as she looks proud of herself.

Ariel puts the title around Bonnie's toned waist, with Bonnie embracing her friend afterwards and thanking her for her support before they leave the ring together.

One big hitter down; plenty more though are waiting to take on Bonnie for the gold title, who will be the next fighter to get the shot?
