Germaine Tan vs Hayley Lee

Up next is a match between two girls with similar records, both having a win over Khaw.

Germaine Tan (30, 5'7, 1-1, Free agent)

Hayley Lee (27, 5'6, 1-1, Free agent)

Hayley: “While Germaine lost against Natalie last time, she put up a really strong fight. She’s a force to be reckoned with! I will win this!”

Germaine fights out of the red corner, clad in white sports bra, blue bottoms and red gloves. Her hair tied up in a bun.

Hayley fights out of the blue corner, cald in black sports bra, matching bottoms and white gloves. Her hair tied up in double braids.

Round 1:
Germaine and Hayley start off circling around the center of the ring, trading jabs and body shots at the start of the match. The pace of the match soon quickens as Hayley draws a yelp from her opponent with a straight to her face! Germaine backpedals and resets her guard but Hayley pressures her into the corner and overwhelms her with a series of combo. Germaine manages to slip out of the corner but is unable to come back with any meaningful offense before the round ends, giving the round to Hayley.

Round 2:
The second round starts off similarly as the first, with both girls approaching each other with caution. Hayley catches Germaine with a left jab and right body hook but Germaine quickly retreats and resets her guard. As Hayley mounts on the offensive, Germaine ducks under a heavy cross and slips an uppercut between Hayley’s arms, sending her reeling! But Hayley’s not backing down! She quickly collects herself and forges ahead, nailing a jab-jab-cross combo. Germaine powers through and forces Hayley back into the ropes, softening her midsection with body blows. The round ends with Germaine taking a narrow lead. Hayley looks pissed as she returns to her corner.

Round 3:
After the short break, Hayley comes back with renewed aggression, pummeling Germaine away with strong punches with sweat spraying off her face. Germaine remains on her feet albeit wobbly as she comes back with sheer willpower, stunning Hayley with an uppercut to her belly. She follows up with a right cross but Hayley ducks under and hurts her with a punch to her ribs. Germaine winces and retreats, clutching her ribs in pain leaving her head open. Hayley capitalizes on the opportunity and fires two jabs. Just as she is about to deliver the finishing blow...DING! The round ends, giving Germaine another chance at winning.

Round 4:
The high-octane match gets the crowd riled up by round 4. Both Germaine and Hayley heaving and sweating heavily as they come out of their corner, maintaining a stoic expression on their faces. Conventional wisdom suggests a more measured approach at round 4, but the pair defy this notion by going all out! The pair trade blow-for-blow, as if to see who has a stronger chin. Towards the end, Germaine lands an uppercut while Hayley lands a right cross simultaneously! Germaine stumbles near the ropes and drops to her knees while Hayley lands flat on her back. A double knockdown! The count begins….1...2….3...4...Germaine struggles up to her feet with the help of the ropes while Hayley lays motionless...5...6...7...8...9...10! It’s over!

Decision: Winner by TKO4 Germaine Tan!

Post-fight: Germaine pants heavily as she speaks to the media. “Hayley did give me a run for the money and I think I was lucky to get this win. I would be happy to have a rematch with her!”
