BEFORE:
Former unified bantamweight champion Bella Thorne is having a bad year by her standards and could well finish below .500 for the season but it's all about Dollhouse revenge after Selena Gomez derailed Ginny Gardner's hype train back in April. Fast forward four months and the Texas native is back for another Doll Ball ride despite booking a clash with Olivia Munn on the upcoming PPV:

"Yeah, I'm gonna have a very busy week. But everything happens for a reason. My manager kinda upset me when he said Elizabeth Olsen is the best bantamweight never to win a title. Hello? What about ME? I literally had to call Cassie Scerbo overnight and ask her whether I'm being traded to Front Street or something? I would have called Tess Valmore but she dislikes brunettes so whatever... where was I? Oh, right. Wanna talk about Ginny G? Nope? Carmen Electra still hasn't gotten over that one? What a shame!" Selena giggles.
“I’m kinda not here to talk, especially not about Ginny. I’m actually just here to beat Selena’s ass and go home.” Says an irritated Bella. “So, let’s just get to it, shall we?” Bella all business tonight, would rather do the talking in the ring after recent unfortunate showings have put her at an abysmal 3-5 record for the year, something the proud former two-time champion has never experienced before and is clearly struggling to make sense of.

Bella Thorne wears a micro red crop top, black hotpants & red gloves. Long dark red hair with green flashes tied in a loose bun at the back of her head. Selena Gomez wears a leopard print crop top, black hotpants & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Bella comes out hot and sprays dangerous hooks all over the place which puts Selena on quick notice as she wants none of that Doll power! Thankfully for the Lioness entourage she owns good enough mobility to avoid the early charge but effectively yields real estate on purpose and allows Thorne to run the fight from the front which is always a high-risk idea. Bella wouldn't stomach a third defeat in a row so lays down the jabbing law no matter how shifty Gomez is and she traps the Latina foe on the ropes come the final minute much to the crowd's delight. Selena tries to slug it back at the fellow actress but eats a nasty cross hook on the nose and gets tagged on each temple for a good measure as Thorne takes the opening round wide.

Round 2:
Selena feels some arrogant vibes from the Dollhouse camp and squares up to the local favorite before Bella gets hot again... she locks her in the proverbial phone booth and lands several shots from the inside that punish Bella's jugs among others. Huh! Selena is anything but a JMD expert but she manages to catch the younger woman by surprise and beats Thorne for another overhand as the Dollhouse fighter tries to respond. Selena maintains the close range pounce and outworks Bella in heads up exchange but she's unable to trap her on the ropes and has to commit to a back & forth exchange in the center of the ring. She wobbles to her heels late when Bella lands the best temple shot of the rally but the early burst just gives Gomez the overall edge on the cards.

Round 3:
Selena's not fast enough to neutralize Bella in close range this time and gets whacked up the middle as the local favorite stuffs her with a heavy jabbing dose before blasting a right hook on the nose that slumps the older brunette on her heels. Selena's unable to spin out of the hole and gets duly battered to the body as Bella gets vocal and seeks a swift payback in the process. She punishes the Latina's midsection but it's the quck uppercut blast that does the trick down the stretch. Gomez swings back and flat out misses just as Thorne NAILS her with a booming left hook on the ear. Ugh! DOWN GOES SELENA!!! Huge roar from the Staples crowd as the Lioness fighter crashes down on her knees and soaks up the full eight count! Bella's big smile tells the story and Selena still looks shaky when she eventually gets up. Here comes the Doll charge... Bella wants to blow the Latina away right here but just misses on the killswitch delivery and struggles to match her mobility; the desperate retreat allows Gomez to survive but she shakes her head in frustration as coach Eva Mendes is called into recovery plan during the interval.

Round 4:
More hassling from Bella who is determined to knock Selena's head off but she lacks pure precision and only makes the brunette look hapless out there without actually punishing her. Meanwhile Gomez appears to be affected by that knockdown and only her superior mobility allows her to avoid a full-on disaster. She blocks off majority of Thorne's punches and the left/right combos get extremely predictable come the final minute yet Bella doesn't really have to do much while playing with house money. More shrugs in the Lioness corner at the bell...

Round 5:
Carmen Electra orders another slugging charge but Bella gets too carried away early and meets a stubborn resistance from Selena who has seemingly found a new wind again. Bella bounces off the top of her forehead and falls into another jug muggin' trap that rubs more salt into former JMD champion's pride wounds. Selena rips 'em uppercuts on target and glues the younger actress to the spot before she belts her to the body and finds the navel she can punish without immediate reply. Bella tries to bump her off but only gets blasted on the solar plexus and wobbles to the side with a whimper just as the Latina vixen NAILS her with a brutal left hook on the ear... DOWN GOES BELLA!!! Uh-oh!!! The Staples crowd has to stomach the uneasy sight of Thorne landing on all fours as Selena excahnges high-fives with Eva Mendes instead. Bella gives them a lenghty stare as she delays the count on purpose but there's no high-octane blast thereafter as Selena refuses to jump into a hectic clean-up mode and prefers to outbox the former champion. Bella hugs her midriff at the bell regardless and shows signs of genuine discomfort which explains why...

Round 6:
...Selena gets so aggressive early in the sixth. Since she owns the superior mobility she avoids Bella's fourth round struggles and rips clean hits to the body as she explores the jug muggin' route to frustrate the living hell out of the Dollhouse fanbase. Bella manages to close that path as she drags Gomez into a lenghty clinching stalemate during the second minute but the older woman eventually breaks free and punches more leather into Thorne's exposed midriff. She gets vocal as she literally shoves the local favorite onto the ropes and keeps pounding away until the bell finally halts her charge. Cue in more painful yelps from Thorne who is really having a hard time these last few minutes!

Round 7:
Bella tries to lure Selena into a slugging trap but the Latina babe thinks better off it... she prefers to seek more body assault damage but then fails to duck underneath one big swing on the mouth that allows the younger actress to jump on the recovery drive. Those Thorne punches can do some damage after all and she flicks them straight into Selena's face before a quick uppercut slumps her onto her heels. Ugh! Selena tries to slug it back but bounces off the forearms and gets gradually thumped onto the ropes as the Staples crowd roars in delight again! Bella glues her mitts upstairs and manages to split the high-guard late in the going which gives Gomez a head-ringing experience when she gets pancaked from both flanks and descends into noticeable spasms at the bell.

Round 8:
Still no signs of real fatigue which provides more back & forth action as we enter the last third of the fight. Bella secures the early jump by knocking more leather into the brunette's face and regains her slugging mojo that suddenly makes Selena's guard look awfully vulnerable. The older girl gets her mitts shoved into her face and struggles to shake the fellow actress off which gives Bella more confidence as she keeps working upstairs to tear a small gash under Gomez's right eye half-way through the round. Selena can't really afford herself yielding another round but she's never looked dominant against elite bantams over the years either so it's no real surprise she gets thumped onto the turnbuckle where Bella lights her up with more head-hunting wrath. Even Carmen Electra get excited in the VIP lounge as she smells looming success when.... disaster strikes as Bella skims off the top of Selena's shoulder and gets bombed by a wild overhand on the nose. Ugh! Another quick blast catches the younger woman on the chin and wobbles her into an uppercut frenzy that snaps Thorne's head back and slumps her mitts by the side... five seconds left and Selena RIPS a left hook on the eye that DROPS BELLA FLAT ON HER BACK to cause another stunned moment of silence inside the arena!!! Bell saves the former champion from immediate disaster and has Selena fuming over house rules again but Eva Mendes tells her it's all under control and it's those damn Dolls that have to worry instead.

Round 9:
Bella looked rattled at the end of the eight when she literally crawled back to her corner but she's up and running against the odds in the ninth... basically a last hurrah attack that still gives Selena a hard time when she scythes her across the mouth and engages in another head-hunting dispute. Selena can't believe she still has to thottle it and wobbles into an uppercut attack that allows her opponent to dissect the high-guard again... almost mind over matter stuff in the ring now but Bella still cracks a left hook on the ear and wraps Selena's temples into a quick one-two combo... another big chop on the navel AND GOMEZ CRASHES DOWN on her knees as the noise inside the arena gets louder again! "Oh yeah, it's not quite over!!!", Bella punches the air in delight but Selena is just unwilling to go away! She scrambles back to her feet at seven and simply drops the hammer once the fight is resumed. Bella thinks the tide has swung into her favor but gets run over by the jabbing haze as Gomez is the one going all-in like she needs this approach more! More big shots fly into Thorne's face and she gets stuck on her heels while Selena doubles up on the chin before piercing the exposed solar plexus... and now Bella looks drained of all the energy as she CRASHES DOWN ON HER KNEES to bring the knockdown count to FOUR on the night. Have you ever? Selena slowly walks back to her corner where Eva Mendes tells her: "It's over, hun!"... except it's NOT as Bella somehow... someway scrambles back to her feet at nine... Oh, no she didn't!!! Selena squeals in anger as she has to get back there and finish the damn job! Here she comes... Bella is up but wobbles around on jelly knees and gets thumped back to the ropes where Gomez just brutalizes her toned midriff as she works the piston harpoons to cripple the former champion into loud spasms... Bella is punched into a moaning groaning mess and simply can't stop the Latina babe from turning her stomach into a mush... AND THE REF STEPS IN to prevent Thorne from getting her ribs broken!!! It's finally over!!! TKO9 Selena Gomez!!!

AFTER:
The victorious brunette stumbles back to her heels and enjoys a slow walk back to coach Mendes as she's completely drained by this war of attrition that could get some votes for Fight Of The Year awards according to several experts. Selena doesn't have anything left in the tank to celebrate her victory while Bella is slowly escorted back to her corner and looks to be in some pain here as she hugs the battered midriff.

"The Olivia Munn fight at the PPV is still on!", Eva tells the media as questions about Selena's recovery are raised almost immediately after the official verdict is announced. "We have big plans for next month and it's essential we stay in the big picture. Bantam used to be LCA's weakest division - sadly when I was still an active fighter but we have loaded the bases in 2021. Nina, Minka and Selena are all having a great year and don't be surprised if one of them makes a genuine championship push sooner than U think!"
