BEFORE:
"Me and Jessica have been sparring partners since day 1 at the Dollhouse,” Katheryn opens the press conference with a knowing smile, before glancing sideways at Jessica from across the room. “Obviously being older than the other girls made us connect immediately….besides, Jessica is awesome, and one of the best actors alive. But you already knew that. We also always knew we were going to eventually have a go at fighting each other in some capacity, and I guess tonight's the night, because Carmen said so!” Katheryn laughs. “I know Jessica has not been as busy as me in the ring, but her record is pretty freaking good and I KNOW first hand she can kick ass. I felt it plenty of times. HOWEVER, as friendly as we are, tonight's going to be a fully competitive bout on my end, and I plan to win. Whatever it takes. Jessica's finally going to feel what it's like to fight me for REAL. I wish you good luck dear Jess. You'll need it!"

Meanwhile, Chastain is seen grinning the entire time, her fellow Doll showering her with praises before giving her plenty of space to respond:

"Katheryn has always been one of the top Dollhouse fighters and for good reason. I have always looked up to her behind the scenes and learned a lot from her, she was a fighter way before she started boxing. Although we trained together many times, I wasn't always prepared to fight her for real... but now... yeah, I'm ready to just give it a shot. I haven't been as busy as she's been in the ring, and she definitely has much more experience by now, but I feel like I can give her one hell of a fight. I have no plans of going easy on her, so...hope you're ready Katheryn. I'm going all out on your ass tonight!" Jessica ends with a friendly laugh.

Ladies are already in their Dollhouse colours for this press conference, with Chastain going for her usual orange pairing of sports bra and long tights and black gloves, her hair in a tight ponytail, whereas Winnick is dressed in her trademark white sports bra and tights lined with black with matching gloves, hair in a high ponytail, making for a stark contrast between the two for tonight’s match-up.

Later in the arena the fans are surprised (or are they?) when Katheryn AND Jessica walk down the ramp together, self-declared sisters-in-arms, quite literally wrapping arms around each other’s waists as they wave, grin and walk down the ramp towards the ring. It’s the first intra-stable fight we’ve seen in a while that hasn’t descended into mass chaos!

Square up in the ring is also a friendly, cordial affair, with Katheryn and Jessica first sharing an embrace in the center, before wishing each other luck for the upcoming brawl. We’ve seen and heard this all before, however: some pre-fight niceties and encouraging pats on the back quickly making way for fists to start flying. For now, though, everything looks peachy. The referee waves for the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Both ladies are planning to fight carefully and smartly in this fight, and those tactics shine through almost as soon as the bell rings. Blonde and redhead walk out of their corners with their arms raised high and bouncing on their toes, excited but not in any rush to charge forward. Winnick has more experience here, but she surprisingly doesn’t initiate the first couple of attacks, instead letting Chastain slam repeated combos into her arms. Winnick is caught wincing, but her guard is just infallible at this early point in the fight. Still, she has more to lose tonight if she allows this punishment to continue, with Jessica’s extensive time in the gym making her grunt and swerve before the redhead plants leather into her body like it’s a punching bag. Winnick still plays it defensive, only firing back when it suits her. Soon, she exposes Chastain’s weakness and opens slots in her guard, a particularly nasty hook landing to the side of the head that sends Chastain packing! Both girls are really digging deep and pushing themselves forward in this opening round, but as Winnick roars in to mop up, landing a couple more shots to the redhead’s belly, it’s clear that Katheryn means business in the first round!

ROUND 2:
Chastain ramps up the aggression, wanting to prove that she can stand toe-to-toe with the blonde even if they’re supposed to be on the same footing on Dollhouse soil. She rushes at Winnick multiple times, firing combos at her body and chest but slowly taking damage back once Winnick holds her ground and counters with a swipe across her open face for good measure. Katheryn’s fully respecting her stablemate here by allowing her to come at her with everything she’s got, but she makes Jessica pay for her inexperience and for leaving her head vulnerable to counterattack. Chastain grunts as another mad rush to the body leaves her stumbling to the side, clutching her jawline in shock after Kat decides to plow a hook through and across her cheek. For now, Chastain might have taken the round due to the sheer number of punches fired at her foe, but Katheryn, arguably, is the one who dished out more punishment.

ROUND 3:
Chastain again gets pushed back when one of her hands is checked by Katheryn’s own, and then another swing goes too high, missing completely when Katheryn shows off her own agility to swerve underneath to avoid. WInnick is methodical, been at this fighting thing for far longer, pumping her right hand over and over into Jessica’s face towards the end of the round, which of course stuns the redhead with repeated grunts and desperate cover ups. Then, Winnick switches to Chastain’s midsection, landing thumping shots to her tummy and ribs as she dominates her friend and sparring partner throughout the third. End of the round and Chastain is looking winded and battered - she wanted a fight and she’s definitely got one!

ROUND 4:
Chastain starts falling back to her basics, however, keeping her distance in the early minute and keeping WInnick at bay with one-two combos that slam into the other girl’s guard. She’s been around the Dollhouse gym long enough to know how some of her fellow Dolls fight, and Winnick is built like a well-oiled tank as she keeps marching forward, one of her arms pulled back as if ready to let loose a final, punishing blow. But Chastain displays her own agility for her age, side-steps to the right and then continues to extend her 1-2 striking combo straight down the middle of Winnick’s arms - a hopeful move to prevent Winnick from chasing after her till the end of the round. By the bell, Chastain has made up for her lack of points through sheer tenacity and poise, looking a little more confident she can win this thing if she manages to stave Winnick off till the end.

ROUND 5:
A balanced clash as both Jessica and Kat each try to take the lead in this contest. Both ladies stride outwards at the same time and then let their fists do the talking, Chastain going for low lunges to the body whereas Winnick aims high, knocking the head about in some nasty shots to Jessica’s chin. Winnick of course not coming out of this unscathed, as Chastain dips low and keeps her elbows chugging in and out, in and out, drawing groans from the blonde after taking a particularly hard thump to the midsection, which folds her over on the spot. Both fighters are dishing out the damage, taking turns pushing each other backwards and forth, but for now, the bell rings without a clear outcome for either corner.

ROUND 6:
While Kat might be the favourite to win this fight, she’s having more than a little trouble convincing the rest of the arena of that very fact. Chastain is making her work hard for her reputation, after the redhead barrels forward and initiates with an overhand swing to the top of the head. Winnick defends well, however, wincing and grunting as another cross-hand catches her to the middle of her arms. Chastain has something to prove tonight, and it shows, pushing her blonde compatriot backwards until Winnick is ALMOST with her back to the ropes. At the last moment, however, Kat swings back into action, quite literally squaring her shoulders and then letting a right hook RIIIPP through the air… POW!! Chastain gets STUNNED by that one, single punch, the impact alone sending her reeling to the side with a loud shout of pain from parted lips. Winnick is back in control all of a sudden, wading in to take her dues, as she BURIES another hook into the body, before pounding away on the arms. Suddenly, it’s Chastain who’s in trouble! Jessica groans and mews as her head and upper torso gets thrashed to the side by yet another side-hook. Winnick’s intent on breaking down the door as she stays on top of the battered woman, swinging away at her with little abandonment! Third such hook CONNECTS with the side of the head and DOWN CHASTAIN GOES, falling down to her side in the face of overwhelming firepower! The poor redhead rolls over onto her back, looking dazedly up at the stadium lights, and even with the referee giving her the benefit of the ten-count, she ain’t making any move to get back up! That’s it! He’s WAVING the rest of this fight off!

Official Decision: Katheryn Winnick defeats Jessica Chastain via KO6!

AFTER:
Winnick immedetialy rushing in to check on her fallen friend, dropping to her knees besides the redhead and exchanging a few unheard words. Jessica seems to be alive, nodding tiredly back at the blonde from the mat, but not yet trying to lift her head up. The Dollhouse’s medical team rush in to check on Jessica as Katheryn clears the area for them, the victorious blonde rising and raising her arms with a smile, taking in the adoration of the fans as she takes a few victory laps around the ring.

An important win for the blonde tonight, who has been struggling to keep her yearly record above 50% this year, but tonight she proves she is indeed the ‘Alpha Cougar’ of the house by beating the challenger for that throne in Jessica.

Jessica herself certainly giving a good fight tonight but comes short of scoring the upset after perhaps getting a bit overzealous in the 6th. The redhead is already up to a sitting position, while Katheryn grabs a microphone.

“Well, we hope you enjoyed that one guys. It was fun to fight a friend for a change, and Jessica here gave me more than I bargained for….but…I had to take her out or she would’ve taken me out. So here we are.” Katheryn laughs. “But I think she’s OK now, aren’t you?” Katheryn leans over next to Jessica, allowing her to speak into the mic.

“Easy for you to say!” Jessica replies, making the fans laugh. “Yeah I’m ok…and I’ll f*cking get you next time!”.
Katheryn laughs . “Sure you will.” The blonde replies sarcastically before gesturing to Jessica to get up, extending her hand to help the redhead make it back to her feet.

Jessica and Katheryn then hug it out in the center of the ring to the loud cheers of the fans before finally leaving the ring together, and making their way backstage, mirroring their arrival.
