BEFORE: "I'm still one of the hottest blondes around the league and why should I care about this Danish buzz? I have no idea how to pronounce her name and that suits her just fine!", veteran Merseyside model Abbey Crouch dismisses the experts who call her out as cannon fodder ahead of tonight's undercard match-up versus Solveig Mork Hansen. The new Danish stunner struggled to make an impact on her debut against compariot Mathilde Gohler last October but even BBU TV's Kate Abdo admits that was a very tough introduction for any aspiring contender and Hansen would be better off facing someone less accomplished... just like Abbey Crouch so the question is who exactly suits whom here tonight?

Solveig is strictly business pre-fight and just wants to blow the Mersey WAG away to get off the mark. She mumbles something in her native tongue and adds extra juice when both models touch gloves with Abbey looking a little awkward as she eyeballs the Danish opponent. If she hopes her experience counts for anything then she might be up for a rude awakening according to Kate Abdo!

Round 1:
Abbey wants to make an early impression and profits from the Dane's wayward approach which allows her to stick some quick leather upstairs. Solveig yelps in pain as if she didn't really expect getting hit but lacks a proper response and suddenly the otherwise lacklustre Mersey model rips a left cross on the nose that bends the Scandinavian upstart sideways! Abbey's almost too shocked with this and misses a quick jab which in turn allows Solveig to scamper into safety and reboot her challenge. Abbey struggles to ignite proper speed and keeps missing in mid-distance while Hansen dekes away from these punches and settles into a single-punch response down the stretch. However Abbey becomes really aggressive when she lands another hook on the temple and sends the Danish hopeful into a late earmuff on the ropes which has BBU TV's Kate Abdo lost for words at the bell.

Round 2:
Hansen couldn't leave a worse impression after that dismal opener but Abbey thinks she's found a genuine punchbag after years of serving as such herself! She roars into a jabbing burst hoping to blast the Danish model all the way across the big water alas she fails to follow through with the initial drive and gets WHACKED on the jaw with Solveig's first punch of the round. Ugh! The Danish model drills the Mersey blonde in bullseye fashion and sends her reeling on her heels on the spot. Another quick right tears into the older girl's nose and makes her whimper on the spot as the Danish attack duly continues and pounds the British WAG butt-in-ropes come the one minute mark! Abbey tries to find her strikes from behind the guard but gets pinned into the ropes and avoids further damage almost through pure luck according to Kate Abdo! She weaves on her feet in desperate fashion before locking the younger blonde into a lenghty clinch which only fuels Solveig's growing frustration.

Round 3:
Abbey tries to keep the Danish model in mid-range stance but fails to match her mobility and gets trapped in a body assault galore that cripples her into early spasms here in the third! That's the Crouch BBU fans have known for some time as she soaks up plenty of hits along the way and it's only down to Hansen's poor execution that she avoids instant trouble. The lanky Dane needs more target practice but she struggles to find her range beyond the body harpoons and gets clinched all too easily which helps the older blonde to drag the one-sided round into the final stretch where she finally responds with a solid jabbing drive and clips the Dane on the chin a couple of times. However the action concludes with another heavy hook on the jaw and Abbey strumbles to her corner in visible discomfort while Solveig barks more Danish words hardly impressed with her performance thus far.

Round 4:
Abbey doesn't carry enough power with her initial jabbing burst in the opening minute and gets picked off up the middle as the Danish blonde harpoons more tummy to set up a switch uppercut rally that nails Crouch on the jugs. Ugh! The yelping WAG tries to lock another predictable clinch but eats a crushing hook on the jaw and wobbles forward into a quick follow up as Solveig rallies to clean the house upstairs... she drills Abbey's jaw with another double and pierces the solar plexus when the aching Mersey blonde completely loses her guard... DOWN GOES CROUCH!!! The hittable veteran heads south and crashes onto her knees... she battles back from the knockdown at seven but remains stuck on feet of clay and gets SMOKED with a left cross on the nose that drops her into loud spasms a couple of seconds after the command... Solveig has all the time in the world to lock her target and smashes another left hook on the nose THAT FOLDS ABBEY INTO INSTANT DEMISE... poor Brit crashes flat on her back with eyes closed and the ref spares everyone the count! KO4 Solveig Mork Hansen!!!

AFTER: The Danish model pins her heel on fallen blonde's tummy and barks more explicit Danish - that's Kate Abdo's assumption anyway - before turning back to her corner. She leans across the ropes and doesn't even respond to the crowd's rampant ovation but she has every right to feel upset over this performance. She looked downright horrible in the opening round and doesn't stand a chance to mount a proper elite run given her scattered attacks & suspicious defense. A more qualified veteran than Crouch would dance around her with ease and blast her with a single-punch dose of welterweight KO power. In fact Lioness Club's Sophie Howard begins to mock Hansen's presence on social media even before the verdict is officially announced! Shall we watch this space?
