Intro:
The opening bout tonight sees the unbeaten Florence Pugh in only her second fight, she takes on Claire Foy in Claire's BBU debut, both step into the New Tottenham Hotspur stadium to fight it out.

In her debut Florence upset in many people's eyes the well trained Gina Rodriguez, while in her last bout Claire defeated Felicity Jones two years ago, both are coming into this fight on a high note for them.

Not much has been said by either fighter in the build up, with both focusing on their training, at the weigh in they look in great shape to get fans licking their lips for this contest.

Before the fight BBU TV's Kate Abdo was interviewing fighters, she got a word from Florence as she came into the media area of the stadium, both sharing a hug and pleasantries on how the other is.

Then they get down to the matter of the fight, Florence admitting "this has all been a bit of a rush for me the past month, I honestly thought maybe I'll just get in some sparring with Scarlett (Johansson) but to actually have my own career starting has been buzzing" a big smile on her face showing her excitement.

The subject turns to her opponent, Florence says "oh Claire seems a great person, the tapes I have seen of her fighting Felicity also showed me she can box, I will have my work cut out for me tonight with her" looking a little more serious at that thought.

The smile returns as she continues "it should be a good fight for us both, I have worked on some things from my first fight, hopefully I get to show it here" Kate wishing her luck as they say their goodbyes.

Claire soon comes through the area and also is pleasant towards Kate, putting her bag down to talk to the interviewer as they quickly talk about life.

Soon enough Foy is asked about coming to the BBU, she replies "well I have thought before of fighting back here in England, I tried my hand in America and guess I just didn't have the charisma that managers there wanted"

Then the matter turns to Florence, Claire beams as she tells Kate "isn't she something, she has certainly caught peoples eyes since her debut, she can box, has a pleasant demeanor and well she is in the big movies coming out"

She adds "I fancy my chances in the ring with her, I am a little rusty I guess but I'll quickly shake that off as I punch her around" winking before she picks up her bag then heads off to her locker room.

Fighting time, Florence heads out the tunnel with her coach beside her, she waves to the fans as she jogs down the aisle, her fans cheering her on her way.

She steps into the ring wearing a black bikini top, black trunks with red trim, red gloves, she is barefoot, with her hair tied back into a fighting ponytail.

Mounting the bottom ropes of her corner, Florence blows kisses to the crowd, hopping back down so she go through her warm up, her coach telling her to keep her focus and show what she learned.

Now Claire is on her way to the ring, she kisses her right fist before showing it to the crowd, a big smile on her face as she jogs down the aisle herself, looking keen to get this fight going.

The "Crown" star steps into the ring wearing a silver sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, while her hair is tied back into a fighting ponytail.

Getting into the fighting zone, Claire shadow boxes as she stares over at Florence with a more serious expression, her coach talking to her on what they expect.

Stepping to the center of the ring, both look at ease around each other, the referee goes through the final instructions as they fighters look each other over.

Respectfully they bump gloves with their opponent before jogging back to their corners, once everything is set the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell both women step out showing the other plenty of respect in the opening minute, trading single punches as they move around the center of the ring, trying to get a grasp of their opponent.

The first to make a step up is Florence, who rifles in a jab/straight combo into the mouth of Claire, stepping back out the way of a right cross to show off her speed.

Florence looks to have the better hand speed, just beating Claire to the punch more often then not, drilling her punches into the face of the older fighter.

Who times her attacks better with less then a minute to go, slipping a straight to land an uppercut, a left hook to the body follows as Claire switches things up.

Keeping in close to force Pugh into a heated exchange, then quickly stepping back to land an overhand left to the cheek of the "Black Widow" star to turn her head.

The round ends with both looking Happy enough with themselves, though their coaches both remind them this isn't a sparring session, they need to kick it up a notch if they want to win this fight.

Round 2:
Fighting at a quicker pace, both slam in some nice double jabs through gaps in the others defences, Claire focusing a little more on the abs of Pugh to make her grunt.

Florence just misses with a left cross, eating a double jab/straight into her mouth to back her off to the outside of the ring, where Claire works to keep her.

Covering up more tightly, Florence is being kept near the ropes, while Claire switches up her targets to make it harder for Pugh to predict where the hits are going to come from.

With less then a minute to go, Florence dips under a straight, landing an overhand right to the cheek of Foy, then lands a left hook to turn the head of the older actress.

Pressing back Claire to the center of the ring, Florence settles into trading with Claire, landing several punches across beautiful cheeks up till the bell rings to end the round.

Sitting on their stools, Florence admits to her coach she didn't have a great round, while Claire sits across the ring looking happy as her coach praises her.

Round 3:
Coming back out their corners trading more punches in bunches, Florence slips a straight early on to counter with a left to the ribs, just missing with an uppercut as Claire leans back out the way.

Claire landing a nice double jab to the cheeks of Florence as she sticks on the move, trying to keep the younger woman from getting settled in her stance.

Timing her opponent better now as they head into the second part of the round, Florence slams a left cross on the jaw of Claire, following with two straights into the face of Foy.

Who finds herself driven onto the ropes by Pugh, the younger fighter beginning to open up on Claire, who is shielding her head, she takes more punches into her ribs though to make groan out.

Final moments of the round sees Claire pull Florence into a clinch, the fighters take a quick breather as the referee steps in to break them apart.

The bell rings to end proceedings, Florence more relaxed now after a good round, Claire nodding to her coach as she is told to not let Florence get her momentum.

Round 4:
Claire looks to come out quicker this round, doubling up her jab as she moves her upper body more to look for better angles to strike from, she lands some stiff straight to the stomach of Pugh to keep her at range.

A straight lands to the top of her head as she dips down, a left cross follows as Claire steps back to reset, having to box off the back foot as Florence now looks to be the aggressor.

There's good and forth between them, almost like two fencers the way they thrust and parry with their punches as they move around the ring.

A missed right by Claire leaves her open to a left across her cheek, a straight knocks her back to her heels as Florence begins to drive forwards with a three punch combo landing cleanly into the abs of Foy.

Who is being forced to fight her way off the ropes, planting their feet as they let their fists do the talking, Florence dodges a left and a right before spiking Claire on her nose with a right.

That puts Claire into her shell as they head into the final moments of the round, Florence throwing a flurry that mostly hits gloves, at the bell it is her getting the nod for another strong round.

Round 5:
To the worries of Claire's corner, Florence seems to be getting into full flight now, the younger fighter landing two or three clean punches at a time now through gaps in Foy's defence.

Claire not looking as keen to get on the attack, more focused on defence for the moment, allowing Florence to use feints to bait her into moving her guard around for her to strike into gaps.

A double jab does catch Florence on her forehead, showing a bit of a rookie mistake as she left her gloves down too low, Claire coming out her shell to knock back Pugh to the outside of the ring.

She herds Florence around the outside of the ring, soon enough making the same mistake as she rifles a jab into the guts of Florence, taking a right across her chin to turn her head to the side.

Back comes Florence as she lands an uppercut/left hook combo that makes Claire stumble back, the "Crown" star finds herself pressed into a corner with twenty seconds to go.

She keeps covered up all the way up to the end of the round, Claire looking to the heavens wondering how is she going to stop this buzzsaw cutting through her defences.

Round 6:
As they come out to resume fighting Florence is looking laser focused, landing punches around and through the guard of her opponent as she is moving her upper body more.

A missed jab by Claire leaves her open to a right across her temple, her legs shake as she takes a step back, A LEFT HOOK OPENS UP CLAIRE TO A RIGHT TO HER CHIN, DOWN TO HER BACK GOES FOY!

The Pugh fans are jumping for joy as she blows a kiss to them on her way to the neutral corner, 1...2...3....4.. Claire tries to push herself up from her right side, 5...6.. Slipping back down to her side as she is badly dazed, 7...8...9...10 Claire is counted out!

Winner Florence Pugh KO Round 6

After:
Florence makes it two from two, she is overjoyed as she lifts her arms into the air, her fans whistling for her as her coach steps into the ring to pat her on her back, telling her how good she looked tonight.

After they see Claire get helped up, Florence heads over to her to check on her former opponent, both smiling as they discuss the fight, Claire telling Florence it was an honour to fight her, making Pugh blush with embarrassment.

Helped out the ring, Claire nods to her fans in the front row as they applaud her, no shame in her performance tonight as she gave the younger woman a test early in the fight, before the speed of Florence overwhelmed her.

Florence applauds her as she stands at the ropes near where Claire left, showing her class as she smiles at her former foe, her coach grinning seeing how mature the young woman is.

Heading to the center of the ring, Florence gets her hand raised by the referee, rightly she looks proud of herself for this performance, her fans chanting her name as she looks out to them.

Soon she leaves the ring with her coach beside her, she certainly is getting the attention of pundits, wondering how far Florence can go, especially with help from people like Scarlett Johansson.
