BEFORE: Miranda Kerr begins the defense of her Victoria's Secret "War In Heaven" crown against a FCBA newcomer from Nottingham Alexina Graham but some fans predict a stunning upset here in the tournament's opening bout. Miranda hasn't won an official FCBA bout since September 2020 and rides a four-fight losing streak which looks bad on paper regardless the women who defeated her in this period include the likes of Kate Upton and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. One could argue that Alexina is the perfect opponent for Miranda to find the winning ways but BLONDE! Magazine claims the leggy Brit is both younger and significantly taller than the Aussie model so the experience advantage might count for nothing in the end.

Miranda understands she's fallen behind those glory 2017 days and refuses to talk to the media while Alexina milks all the attention ahead of her FCBA debut: "I've waited long enough to earn my chance! Maybe all those leggy blondes have it easier to make the grade but redheads can pack a mean punch too! It's the first fight so everyone will be glued to the TV screen! Or the streaming devices! I'm ready to take the champ OUT, baby!" (laughs).

Long carrot red hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division as Graham checks in at 127 lbs.

Round 1:
Alexina's superior reach makes the early difference and allows the newcomer to bang Miranda around straight up the middle. The Aussie veteran tries to navigate the aerial speed burst but fails to lock her mitts together and gets repeatedly sliced on each cheek as Graham grows in confidence to apply full-steam ahead come the second minute! She lands some crisp punches into Miranda's face and gets vocal when she wobbles the defending champion onto her heels before adding more leather to the body. Miranda appears to be stunned by the redhead's aggressive approach and gets pummelled back to the corner where she can only clinch the Brit but Graham breaks free regardless and bangs more gut shots to fold the brunette into desperate spasms come the bell.

Round 2:
Miranda realizes she has to get moving here as Alexina shows her no respect whatsoever and she ducks underneath the aerial assault to punish the redhead's midsection upon initial impact before blasting a couple of uppercuts on the cleavage as well. Alexina has trouble adjusting in the close range and leaks more body shots thereafter which allows the Aussie to pummel her onto the ropes outright! Shear aggression neutralizes the Brit's bold approach and leaves her trapped on the ropes for remainder of the round as Miranda cleans up the breadbasket with supreme ease! She belts Graham into loud spasms and makes the newcomer look awfully vulnerable all of the sudden!

Round 3:
Alexina uses her superior range to keep Miranda at bay early in the third but the Aussie model remains in the slugging range and anticipates outlasting the Brit once the action becomes too hot to handle. However Graham rips more leather into Miranda's face instead and gives her the rough treatment against the odds as that 5'11" frame becomes paramount again. Miranda just can't bypass the size issue at will and bails out of danger to let Alexina control the fight from the front. It doesn't look good on the scorecards but Miranda fends off the short fuse approach and escapes major damage as the redhead's pursuit proves largely ineffective. Alexina gets clinched when she tries to pin the Aussie on the turnbuckle and eats a late shot on the breasts just to keep her honest.

Round 4:
More of the same in the fourth, Miranda lets Alexina drain the fuel tank and the redhead lands single punches up the middle but fails to lay down the slugging law as Kerr bounces around on her toes and seemingly tries to lure the redhead into a false sense of security. Alexina taunts the reeling brunette but gets thumped to the body as Miranda remains glued on the body assault as the way tactics to chop down the taller opponent. Alexina keeps working upstairs but skims off Miranda's forehead too often and has to shove the older model back to the ropes in fortunate jug-to-jug contact. Miranda rips a left hook on the mouth but gets banged by a ruthless double on the cheeks and slumps into loud spasms as Graham finally unloads the pure wrath and punches the Aussie into a standstill during the last ten seconds of the round!

Round 5:
Alexina simply widens the points gap as she lands more overhand shots into Miranda's face and this is slowly turning into a one-sided beatdown at the defending champion's expense! Alexina is not to be denied as she works the Aussie from the top and pounds her onto the ropes where she rips a series of blows on the breasts which soften Kerr up for good. Ugh! Miranda tries to spin out of the hole but the redhead whacks her on the nose and rips another cross-hooking double on the chin before a booming right hand finds the temple AND SENDS KERR DOWN ONTO HER KNEES!!! Uh-oh!!! The upset is so much ON!!! Some trigger-happy fans believe it's all over already but Miranda fends off the knockdown daze and just beats the count at eight! Ugh! She gives Graham a long stare and earns a wild ovation from the SoFi crowd as she shoves the ref away and comes right back at the smiling Brit. Alexina wows to finish her off but both women clash heads during a wild jabbing frenzy and the clock expires before they can make another run at each other. Still, Graham leads 49-45 after five and has Kerr firmly on the ropes!

Round 6:
Alexina cranks up the jabbing volume and squares up to the seemingly rattled Australian foe but skims off the top of Miranda's forehead and gets sucked into a body assault haze as Kerr truly enters the last resort levels. She clips the redhead's boobs but then finds the piledriver blast on the solar plexus that folds the taller woman into spasms. Cue in an uppercut double before a vicious harpoon on the liver breaks Graham's resilience in shocking fashion!!! Ugh! Alexina wobbles forward and hugs the aching area just so Miranda can SMOKE her with a brutal hook on the mouth that sends the gumshield flying out!!! DOWN GOES GRAHAM!!! The 5'11" model gets laid out in horizontal position at first and then rolls into embryonal position half-way during the count! Uh-oh!!! "Get up! Get up!", some British fans can be heard close to the mic but it's all for naught!!! The merciless count passes the redhead by and somehow..someway... it's KO6 Miranda Kerr in the biggest come from behind result of the season!!!

AFTER: Miranda doesn't even celebrate her victory all that much. She affords herself a smile for the audience but her eyes tell a different story. She was thoroughly outboxed for five rounds and should have been send home packing in Round 1 already! This performance won't make her VS Angels sweat all that much going forward! "No fookin' comment!", Downunder Boxing coach Nikki Visser doubles down on the uneasy circumstances and those ugly wins can indeed be too ugly for comfort after all.

Meanwhile Alexina finally gets up after some thirty odd seconds... well, she sits down on her heels and pounds the canvas in frustration: "I HAD her!!! This should have been my first FCBA victory! Grr.... guess the Victoria's Secret crown ain't coming home either!"

However some pundits believe Alexina should attract some offers based on this performance. She might not be a genuine punchbag to fill the Asylum PPV undercard but there is life for all these free agents outside of the cannon fodder trap as well.
