BBU Lightweight Title
Ch Miranda Kerr vs Holly Peers
(Downunder Boxing vs This Is Glamour)
(13-1, 12 KO vs 7-5, 6 KO)
Results: BBU; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: It's time for a high-profile rematch between reigning lightweight champion Miranda Kerr and Mancunian glamour model Holly Peers. They clashed in the 2019 Ashes where the Australian model scored a KO5 victory however she was knocked down in that bout and Holly claims she's a much better fight now so she won't let Kerr off the hook anymore. This Is Glamour stable enjoys all the exposure through Kelly Brook & exciting newcomer Bethany Lily April but BBU TV's Denise van Outen admits Holly is a genuine contender who must be taken seriously even by someone like Miranda who only has one official BBU loss to her name. And she's never lost a title bout in this organization since she vacated dual bantam & lightweight straps back in 2015 to begin with.

Miranda Kerr wears a violet bikini set & golden gloves. Long light brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Holly Peers wears a red bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Miranda refuses to engage in outright slugging procedure and allows Holly to pack several crisp punches up the middle before she finally blocks her off with a stubborn jabbing effort. Holly still keeps blowing her shots downstairs and punishes the older brunette's ribcage but fails to land a proper haymaker and has to embarce a quick recovery from the champion thereafter. Miranda tries to slam several shots into the Brit's cleavage but she's not gonna upset a JMDD expert with such tactics; Holly reverts to stingy uppercuts in the closing stages and outworks the champion in the phone booth before cracking a left hook on the jaw that wobbles Kerr onto her heels at the bell.

Round 2:
Another quick start from the challenger but Miranda holds her range and beats the younger brunette with a sustained jabbing effort over the top. Holly tries to step into her punches but fails to land a meaningful series and gets picked off by the effective opponent. Miranda piles on more leather up the middle and knocks Holly's head back before driving more shots into her midsection come the second minute. Peers has to adjust her stance but only allows the Aussie model to unload more point blank range attack and has to bail out into mid-range which makes TIG manager Melinda Messenger verbally upset during the last stretch. Kerr whacks her with a nifty double on each temple and makes some gestures aimed at Messenger when she's pulled back at the bell.

Round 3:
Miranda gets off to another hot start and bangs away up the middle while Holly tries to smack her with a one-timer of sorts but struggles to follow through and drops back into coverage when the Aussie champion fires back more nasty punches into her body. Ugh! Holly gets stuffed with another harpoon charge but clinches the fellow brunette into a standstill before looping a quick response over the top. Miranda bends away from danger and connects with more head shots thereafter; she drives the Mancunian challenger onto the ropes and licks her on the rack before shoving a stray elbow into her chin and working a right hand piston into the exposed stomach. Ugh! That attack leaves Peers slumped in spasms at the bell as the champion takes command of the action wholesale.

Round 4:
Holly refuses to panic just yet and tries to outwork the lanky champion in mid-distance but she can't quite lure her into a counter-punching trap and has to count on Kerr sticking to her well-measured but not exactly swarming attack. Downunder coach Nikki Visser believes everything works according to plan and Holly is rattled enough not to blow her fuse but then the British model racks up a jug muggin' series of her own as she gets backed into a corner and almost has no other option but to charge at the hitherto dominant Aussie. Miranda blocks off those efforts at first but then eats a rare hook on the jaw and slumps to the side as Peers tries to bundle her over in the corner but runs out of time and gets pulled away by the ref.

Round 5:
Holly squares up to the Aussie champion and enforces a slugging exchange where Miranda still fancies her chances as she follows through with a quck double on the chin but shoots over the Brit's shoulder only for Peers to counter her from the inside. Ugh! The challenger lands a nasty uppercut on the jaw and tees off from there bursting a jabbing series on the money and rocking Kerr's head back & forth. She clobbers the champion from each side and drops one vicious shot into her solar plexus that suddenly makes coach Visser lose her confidence... another looping double on each temple and Miranda stumbles to her heels, she refuses to back off and tries to swing from the back foot alas Peers gets there first and SMOKES her with a booming right hand on the nose. Oi, Miranda! The champion begins to leak blood upon impact and rolls down the curtain as Holly pounds her onto the ropes where she adds more juice and beats the Aussie rack with extra venom. Miranda slumps into loud spasms and is somewhat rescued by the bell!

Round 6:
Miranda tries to neutralize the Mancunian storm but Holly picks up where she left off and bangs away in fury to punish the champion's rack from both flanks. Miranda leans into the slugging assault but eats a stray elbow in the chest anyway and gets caught when Peers delivers another head-hunting attack to switch her targets. Kerr's patched up nose begins to leak blood again as she's unable to lock the challenger into a proper stalemate so the attack continues with Holly blowing up the Aussie stamina levels until Miranda grinds into a complete halt and gets battered into a shutdown mode. Ugh! Holly carries a right hook on the temple and SENDS THE CHAMP DOWN FOR THE COUNT amid a wild cheer from the partisan audience. Uh-oh!!! Miranda sits down on her heels and can't stop blood leaking from her damaged nose. She tries to beat the count but only gets up on one knee before vertigo takes over and she has to sit down on the canvas again when the merciless count passes her by!!! What an upset!!! KO6 for your NEW BBU lightweight champion Holly Peers!!!

AFTER: The buxom brunette from Manchester can't quite believe she's just rewritten the divisional pecking order and ended one of the longest BBU championship reigns to date. Some pundits claimed Holly would be better off challenging for the JMDD title but she's proved that narrative wrong in impressive fashion... however the TIG entourage doesn't rule out mounting a run at the jug muggin straps either! "Enough with these Tamaras & Christine's making all the noise. Bethany Lily April is the lightning but Holly is the thunder so we can cover these wannabees off from both flanks!", Melinda Messenger praises her stable's prospects before Holly finally takes center stage and offers Miranda a warm send-off: "Hey, she was the gold standard for such a long time but I finally got my revenge when most of these models are happy enough to fight for the beach queen spoils. It's a shame Brooks Nader lost to Hailey Clauson lately cause I'd like to beat that slag up but I hear there are some trashy Dutch models ready to step in! Watch out cause I might silence all those noise soon!" (winks).

Official Result: Holly Peers def. Ch Miranda Kerr KO6.
