Before:

Demi Lovato and Elizabeth Olsen meet in a rematch from last year when Lovato dealt Olsen one of the Avenger’s three losses in the year. These girls represent Lookout and Fates – two stables that have had their differences and several high profile fights over their time in the FCBA. Tonight’s fight undoubtedly has title implications, with Lovato being undefeated this year at 4-0 and Olsen holding a 7-2 record.

“Lizzie wants another loss from me?” Demi starts, “Given how badly I bloodied her last time, I’m surprised the definition of bantamweight mediocrity wants another devastating loss. But I’ll send her back down the rankings since she doesn’t know when to quit.”

Olsen shakes her head, “Demi, I’m going to get my revenge tonight and continue making a push in the division."

Lovato laughs back, “Please, Lizzie, you’re not going to get that bantamweight title. You’re not good enough.

Olsen shoots back a glare at Lovato, but she stays quiet and lets the conference come to an end.

Come fight night, Olsen is the first girl to make her way to the ring, the actress wearing a black sports bra with matching trunks and white gloves, her hair in a bun for the fight. Moments later, Lovato makes her way to the ring, wearing a blue sports bra and orange trunks with blue gloves that have orange trim, her hair in a ponytail. The two girls get final instructions from the referee and bump their gloves, and off we go for ten rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:

Lovato charges out of her corner and catches Olsen with a surprise right to her flank to start the round and she follows up with a left across her chin that has Olsen staggered early! Demi takes it to the bigger girl with rights and lefts to Lizzie’s body and knocks her into the ropes. Olsen quick on the clinch to prevent more damage, and gets a break. Demi goes for another blow to Elizabeth’s ribs out of the break, but this time the Avenger is ready for it, tagging the singer in her mouth with a right. Olsen follows up with a shot to Lovato’s ribs, but Demi responds with a left to Lizzie’s chest. Olsen backs off as Lovato circles around her, feinting and landing blows to her body. The bell rings to send the two girls back to their corners, with Lovato taking the first round on points, wide.

Round 2:

Olsen is ready for Lovato’s charge to start the round and she blocks two blows to start the round. Lizzie counters with two rights to Demi’s ribs and knocks the smaller girl backwards, and the two top fighters start circling, both girls feinting at the other. Demi feints left and Elizabeth bites, allowing Demi to hit her with two lefts, but the Avenger comes right back with a right that catches Demi in her chin and the singer backs off. Lovato keeps her guard up as on comes Olsen, and the taller girl pounds rights and lefts into her foe’s body but Lovato clinches and gets the break. Out of the break, Lizzie goes for a cheeky right, but Demi ducks the blow and tags the Avenger back before the round ends. Olsen takes the second on points, wide.

Round 3:

Elizabeth picks up the third where she left off in the second as she quickly strikes Demi in her body. Lovato again protects her body, but she’s trading back on Olsen this time, never letting the older fighter get in too many blows without a response. Olsen changes tactics, dropping back and using her longer reach to hit Lovato. Demi again goes back to protecting her head, allowing Lizzie to tag her body until Demi drills Olsen with a left into her torso. Lizzie squirms and Demi follows up into her chest, knocking the actress backwards. Demi now going to Lizzie’s body, returning some of the punishment from earlier but Olsen nearly takes Lovato’s head off with a right! Demi staggers backwards and clinches as soon as she can, stopping Elizabeth from doing any more damage. The bell rings and Elizabeth takes the round on points, close.

Round 4:

Olsen picking up steam as she looks to get her revenge for her prior loss to Lovato, going for Demi’s body. The singer drops back and plants her feet as the actress shoots out a right that Demi barely avoids and Lovato crushes a right hook into Olsen’s jaw, spinning Lizzie’s head to her right. Olsen is stunned and Lovato surges forward, seeing the vulnerable actress and she drills two blows into Olsen’s chin and down goes Lizzie! Demi flips the script and is heading to a neutral corner as the ref starts his count. Lizzie shakes her head and looks up to see the count, and slowly drags herself to her feet to beat the count. The ref waves Demi back in and the Lookout boxer goes for the KO, but Lizzie is quick with punishing the younger girl’s aggression and lasts to the bell. Demi takes the fourth and gets the first knockdown of the fight.

Round 5:

The Lookout corner is ecstatic and Demi charges out of her corner, determined to finish off one of the top bantamweight fights. Lovato finds two rights into Olsen’s flank early and Lizzie is staying away from the smaller Demi for the first minute of the fight. Lovato sticks a left into Olsen’s body and bounces the actress back into the ropes and she clinches with Lovato to force a break. Demi goes after Elizabeth out of the break, landing another right to the actress’ body, but Olsen plants her feet and absolutely hammers a right into Lovato’s chin and staggers the singer! Lizzie crushes a left into her foes mouth and Demi drops backwards. Olsen surges forwards, hitting Lovato in her body only for Demi to pop a quick left to her mouth and stop the Fates girl. The bell rings and Demi takes the round, but Elizabeth is still in the fight.

Round 6:

Olsen and Lovato enter the back half of the fight with plenty of energy left, and the two girls meet by trading blows in the center of the ring. Demi feints left – and Lizzie blasts her in her chin and Demi nearly goes down! The singer wobbles on her legs and the actress pounces, driving rights and lefts into her foe. Lovato keeps her guard up, but Olsen splits her gloves with a right that sends the younger girl careening backwards. Lovato blocks Olsen’s follow-up and Demi shoots out a right counterpunch, but Lizzie dodges the blow and crushes a hook that sends Demi to the canvas! Lovato struggles on the ground and she gets to all fours, but the ref is already at the count of seven! Demi scrambles as she rushes to get herself up, but she can’t beat the ref’s count! Your winner by KO6, Elizabeth Olsen!

After:

Olsen cracks a smile as she evens up her series with Lovato, and Fates girls have certainly had to struggle for wins against opponents from Lookout. Lizzie goes over to Demi when the singer’s on her stool and the two embrace. The hard feelings between Lookout and Fates girls only seem to be between lightweights and welters as the two bantams smile at each other before Olsen beams to the crowd.

“Hey, Demi’s a good fighter.” Elizabeth tells the press, “She obviously beat me before, so it was good to get even in the series. I’m just hoping to keep on winning them and get to the title.”

“Lizzie was tough,” Demi admits, “I thought I had her, but she wasn’t called the most underrated bantamweight or the best bantam to not win a title without reason. She got up and dealt it back. That’s what the difference was tonight.”
