BEFORE: Beach boxing speciallist Joy Corrigan moves back indoors to battle Dakota Johnson, a high-profile actress whose movie career exceeds her boxing numbers, a script that Emma Stone seems to have mastered as well. Joy has heard the rumours that beach boxing will be granted a separate championship status in the foreseeable future but wants to silence those critics who view her as second-tier operator unable to break into true contender status for the lineal silverware.

On the other hand we have Dakota Johnson who just can't put anything together in the last four years. Her only win in that span came at the expense of past-prime Rosario Dawson so it's no wonder BLONDE! Magazine puts this fight on the Knockout of the Night alert!

Joy Corrigan wears a red bikini set with black trim & silver gloves. Long blonde hair in loose curls. Dakota Johnson wears a blue crop top, white hip-huggers & blue gloves. Long dark brown hair straight with bangs. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Dakota lacks confidence and it shows early on as she gets run over by the blonde's jabbing assault and only starts working her way back into the exchange when she gets dumped onto the ropes with the blonde working from both flanks on speed dial. Joy is set to literally knock the brunette's head off and wraps Johnson into all kinds of bother when she cuts her below the left eye and takes it from there landing more bombs up the middle. Dakota dekes to the side but not before soaking up a left hook on the ear that slumps her on the turnbuckle before another jabbing drive finds the target and knocks the head backwards again. Ugh! One-way traffic leaves Johnson completely exposed at the bell and she's lucky to avoid a knockdown with Corrigan voicing her anger as well: "This bytch is nothing! Should be over already!"

Round 2:
Joy feels she's got this all under control early as Dakota fails to punish her with the initial drive but then a quick clash of heads allows the brunette to recover first and thump a big right hand into the solar plexus that blows up the blonde's stance. Joy wobbles to her heels with a whimper and makes an ill-advised effort to swing from the back foot with Johnson beating her to the punch with ease. She rattles the model with a quick out and then racks up more jabs up the middle with Corrigan still unable to find her footing. Dakota cashes in and drops the younger woman onto the ropes where she gets shut down with a clinching galore as Joy gets verbally annoyed over that initial headbutt early in the round.

Round 3:
Another early hiccup from Joy who gets beaten for the overhand punch and suddenly Dakota cracks up a nasty double on each temple to muscle her way around the ring. That looked out of order after the opening round but Joy's careless approach leaves her leaking punches up the middle with Johnson seemingly in all-in mood already. This works well as she outslugs the slugger and cracks more punches upstairs with the blonde's response slicing thin air or bouncing off the forearms instead. Dakota gets vocal as she drives the New England model onto the turnbuckle where she drills a rare harpoon on the navel to sink Corrigan into loud spasms at the bell. She fends off a shoulder barge in the chest as the ref has to step in and separate the two women who exchange a lenghty staredown during the interval.

Round 4:
Dakota gets more aggressive after pulling it back on the cards but Joy's overhand blast does the trick early in the fourth as she bangs it hard into the brunette's lips and wobbles her onto the heels upon repeated impact. We go back to the slugging ways and Joy drops another hammer double on each temple to send Johnson the other way. Dakota fails to find the counter-punching success and bides her time in mid-distance until she gets tracked towards one of the corners where she has to accept the slugging drill. She packs in a couple of hooks on target but the furious model overwhelms her with a brutal combo on the lips that renders them visibly swollen before a booming hook on the ear leaves Dakota on soft knees at the bell.

Round 5:
Corrigan chases another haymaker delivery and tears a small gash under the brunette's left eye before a right hand stuffs her on the solar plexus. Ugh! Dakota takes a couple of steps back instead of trying to clinch the New England model and eats another quick uppercut that slumps her guard low enough the younger woman blows into her face with another vicious rally. Uh-oh!!! The gash under Dakota's left eye grows bigger now and she stumbles back onto the ropes where Joy laces her from both flanks again. She hoofs the high-guard aside and bangs a wild combo on the nose that renders Johnson numb while still upright... cue in another booming hook on the left ear that finally pulls the plug for good! DOWN GOES JOHNSON sliding along the turnbuckle with her eyes closed!!! That should do it... and it does! KO5 Joy Corrigan!!!

AFTER: The victorious blonde waves back to the audience and pounds herself across the chest in pure delight. She might not be a first-choice contender outside of BLONDE! Magazine subscription panel but one should never underestimate her determination. Joy really wants to put the hammer down on anyone in the division and has all the tools to enjoy a lenghty boxing career. This cat will not play nice! Meow!
