Kate Mara(38 / 5’2” / 3-12 / Free Agent)https://i.imgur.com/NZgP5jW.gif

Pre-Fight:

“I know I used the term ‘tune up’ earlier in the week and that might sound disrespectful,” says Elyse. “But, she isn’t exactly impressive. I don’t think she has the power to put me down and she no longer has any sort of speed or agility to out-maneuver me. I think this is going to be a quick one then I’m moving on to Chloe.”

“Elyse doesn’t impress me at all,” says Kate. “I’ll have her remember I put Brosnahan down on the canvas twice this year, so if I can knock her down then I can knock Elyse out. Plus, I beat Kristen Bell last year and we all know Elyse is Kristen’s b*tch in the ring. So I’m not scared at all.”

R1:

Elyse comes out of her corner with a powder blue sports bra and shorts combo with white trim and matching blue gloves. Her blonde hair pulled back. Kate comes from her corner in all black everything, her own blonde locks in a ponytail.

The two fighters circle around and trade jabs. Kate looks a little quicker than Elyse, who looks a little stiff and robotic out the gate. She’s trying to control the pace and set up a big swing, but Kate does a good job ducking a right hook and following with two left jabs. Elyse’s head snaps back. Kate comes in for more.

She stands toe-to-toe with the Free Puncher and gets the better of her. They trade some blows, but it’s Kate who is ducking and blocking more punches. She gets a really nice one-two combo on Elyse that forces the Free Puncher back on her heels a bit. Kate worlds the body, two rights to the cut and then comes back up with a left cross.

The bell rings and Kate takes the round easily.

Mara up 10-9.

R2:

Elyse comes out a bit hesitant and Kate rushes in. She connects with a right cross on Willems, who is pushed back to the ropes. Kate throwing combos and trying to put Elyse on the canvas, but Willems covers up well.

Then Elyse slips a left uppercut to the chin through Kate’s defense. It brushes Mara back. Here comes Willems. She throws a left hook that connects. A right hook that connects. She ducks a counter right from Kate and hits her with an overhand left that sends Mara down to the canvas.

Kate is practically spun around by the blow and doesn’t even attempt to get up. She looks like she’s out of it as she blinks rapidly and shakes her head. Her eyes unfocussed. She doesn’t even realize that the ref has hit 10 until way too late.

WINNER VIA KO IN ROUND 2: ELYSE WILLEMS

Post-Fight:

“Not much to say,” says Elyse. “I’m on to Chloe now. She’s got some mouth on her and it’s time to remind her why I’m undefeated in PPV fights.”

“This is a really rough slide,” says Kate. “I don’t really have many answers…”
