BEFORE: Former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole is set for a very busy week since she has a high-profile Doll Ball clash booked for November 6th already but first she has to face Danielle Campbell, widely regarded as one of the best flyweights never to win a lineal title so far. Well, Cheryl rides in the same Dan Marino boat but doesn't exactly have time on her side like Campbell who demands more respect coming off a couple of tough losses in the last six months:

"I really should have knocked Olivia Holt out! Grr... This is the one that got away... again!!! Can't believe she beat me twice in twelve months! Moreover I see these plucky Brits are back in the news. First Florence Pugh is like the new craze, it feels like I was the new hot shot not so long ago! Damn Netflix wannabees! Whatever! I just hope the rumours about Cheryl being past-prime are true! Time to find out!" (giggles).

Round 1:
Cheryl kicks off a feisty jabbing tirade and lands several promising hooks into the fellow brunette's face before Danielle can respond in a meaningful fashion. She bangs a looping cross on the singer's mouth but fails to match the slugging intensity and wobbles to her side when Cole blasts her up the chimney and secures a steady uppercut connection. Danielle adjusts her stance before it gets worse however still eats more shots to the body as the Geordie brunette maintains the high-octane production which allows her to eventually clobber the younger foe back to the ropes. Campbell has to fire back over the top but this chaotic response brings her minimal success and Cole stuffs her in the corner with more nasty shots to the body in the closing seconds of the round.

Round 2:
Danielle finds a good connection up the middle and finally matches the Brit in a close range dispute before a nasty right hand wobbles the older brunette on her heels. Cheryl swings back from there but doesn't carry enough power supply and gets countered from point-blank range as Campbell jumps into a trigger-happy delivery that slams into Cole's face. Ugh! The Geordie singer has to bail out of the exchange but not before the actress pummels her to the ropes where she adds another head-hunting series that overwhelms the tourist and slumps her into quiet spasms behind a desperate earmuff cover. Danielle stays in the slugging lane and punishes the exposed ribcage to run away with the overall impression leaving Cole fuming at coach Eva Mendes during the break.

Round 3:
Another jabbing pounce enables Danielle to split the singer's high-guard and the head-hunting blast glues the older brunette to the spot down the stretch. Cheryl tries to regain the slugging prowess however she bounces off the stubborn wall as Campbell also displays superior agility to escape outright punishment while looping her shots straight into the singer's face instead. Cole gets verbally upset and almost loses her patience alltogether when she tries to land a knee in the American's crotch before a swift uppercut double sends her reeling on the ropes instead. Danielle doesn't even lose her mojo over the intended foul and methodically plugs more leather into Cheryl's face to drop her behind another earmuff come the bell.

Round 4:
Campbell keeps showing the jabbing way and lands more shots upstairs but Cole refuses to back off despite a couple of nasty lumps on her face indicating she's not exactly running the show here. She stays in Danielle's face to barge her in the midriff even though the overhand delivery threatens an immediate disaster if the American lands it with proper power supply. Chezza avoids that fate for the time being and closes the performance gap with a solid gut-checking series in the second minute but Campbell takes over the action thereafter when she scythes the singer across the nose to leave another visible gash on Cole's face. Ugh! The Geordie singer seemingly accepts all this damage but falls further behind on the cards and shakes her head in frustration at the bell.

Round 5:
Early clash of heads throws Danielle off her slugging approach and Cheryl recovers first to sting the younger brunette to the body before piercing the solar plexus with a hard right shot. Campbell dekes to the side with a quiet whimper but still tries to swing back at the Geordie woman only for Cole to slam a left/right combo on the money and bang a left hook on the ear that slumps the American on jelly knees. Ugh! Danielle just can't weather the subsequent storm and ends up hugging the ropes as Chezza's jabbing assault cashes in full when she lands several crisp hooks on the mouth and snaps Campbell's head back & forth. DC has to apply the clinching stalemate but still eats a harpoon series to the body which bellows her into loud spasms when the ref pulls the Brit off at the bell.

Round 6:
Danielle isn't so quick to pounce on the older brunette and suddenly leaks a wave of punches over the top as Cheryl steps on it and triggers a wild slugging exchange in the center of the ring. Campbell has to fight on the singer's terms here and drives in a good double before a right hook tears a gash under her eye and wobbles her forward to meet a crunching uppercut on the jaw. Uh-oh!!! Danielle folds into more spasms instead of plugging back at the Geordie woman so Cole has a free shot to SMOKE the subdued opponent away with a ruthless double on each temple... Campbell's guard collapses by the wayside and she doesn't react fast enough when Chezza NAILS her with another brutal hook on the ear moments later... DOWN GOES DC!!! The proud American crumbles on her side with eyes closed and makes no genuine effort to beat the otherwise slowish count so the referee waves it off at seven. KO6 Cheryl Cole!!!

AFTER: Another huge victory for the notorious Geordie singer who celebrates with the audience before waving back at the cameras: "Guess I'm the BEST flyweight never to hold a lineal FCBA title now?" (giggles). That's up for debate and a couple of Dollhouse members would probably argue they deserve to be in this conversation as well. What better way to raise the stakes by actually fighting one of them next week already? Emma Roberts? Prepare to meet your destination!
