BEFORE:
Tonight, Luisana Lopilato has an axe to grind tonight with rival Rachel McAdams, whom she suffered a TKO loss to back in 2019. Luisana looks hyped at the pre-fight presser, having won significant wins over Candice Accola and Olivia Culpo recently, now smiling wide at the table, her long, curly blonde hair hanging over both shoulders.

“Our rematch has been a long time coming, I think. Rachel’s had a mixed bag in the last few years, so I’m confident of a comeback win tonight,” Luisa says with a nod. “As always, I have mad respect for what she’s done on screen and in the ring, but I think I’m coming into this fight much stronger and more experienced.”

“She definitely has,” Rachel responds with a chuckle but a dismissive wave of the hand. “Luisa’s persistent, I’ll give her that, but I would’ve thought that previous TKO loss would have been devastating enough for her to not try again. No matter - I’m still alive and kicking, honey, and any girl who thinks otherwise is going to find out I punch the hard way too.”

Ladies square off on stage, fists raised high and steady. Luisana sports a two-inch height advantage, belly pulsing as she cocks one of her fists to the base of Rachel’s chin. The Hollywood actress also has her auburn hair rolling over her shoulders, smirking wide, returning the pose with equal confidence.

Later, we’re back in the arena and in the ring, ready to go ten rounds of Bantamweight action! Luisana dressed in a white bra and white trunks with black trimmings. She’s wearing red gloves for this contest. On the other side, Rachel’s looking toned and brimming with energy as she bounces up and down in a black sports bra, red boxing trunks. Referee gets the mutual nod and HERE WE GO!

ROUND 1:
Luisa, putting a lot of heart into this second chance at redemption, comes out of the corner punching wildly, frequently, rocking Rachel to the arms with multiple combinations to bully her back. McAdams definitely is feeling this extra aggression, grunting as her guard gets tenderised and she’s forced on the defensive, for now, protecting her head as Luisana repeatedly rocks her up high with combos. Occasionally, McAdams takes a swing back, hoping to score points off the blonde’s overeager face, but Lopilato always manages to deflect or block in the nick of time before shooting her own fist clean into Rachel’s face or chin for payback. End of the first round and Luisa’s tenacity pays off, earning herself a wide round and a strong opening for redemption.

ROUND 2:
McAdams, however, is a veteran of the ring, tried and true having beaten back many would-be challengers to stake her claim as someone to be respected, or else. She begins to check and parry Luisana’s wild hooks sent towards her head, deflecting another right hand before returning a one-two combo to the Vixen’s face. It’s Luisa’s turn to eat leather, and she’s not entirely sure either what she’s doing wrong here. Her attacks are banging off the redhead’s guard and arms, sometimes the body, but Rachel always turns her momentum into a counterattack of her own, returning out of nowhere with a jab to her nostrils or lips or a snap uppercut to the chin. One thing’s for sure: Luisa needs to take another hard look at the tapes, getting massacred throughout this round and unable to break Rachel’s code!

ROUND 3:
Luisana’s still fighting fast and furious, rushing in early and rocking McAdams to the arms with a straight cross before more hooks come screaming in over and over. She’s definitely learned a lot since her debut five years ago, including a bit of aggressive noise to her repertoire as she hammers Rachel off the top of her head to send her reeling to the side. McAdams however ain’t no pushover, regroups and relocks her arms, breathing hard but her guard still hovering intact. The actress begins to jab back at the rushing blonde, to great effect, tagging Luisa on the face each time she tries to close in to brawl. End of the round and the Vixen takes it by a close margin.

ROUND 4:
McAdams is moving spritely for someone her age, evading more of Luisana’s early attacks and disrupting her combinations with short, snappy hits to her face and chest. Lopilato shows off plenty of spirit, but it ain’t gonna be enough if she’s getting outboxed and out-maneuvered by the veteran fighter. Another wild overhand makes its way over the top of the guard, with Rachel easily swerving to one side to avoid, the Foxfire starlet then slamming a hook low to the body to further frustrate Luisa’s attempts at a comeback win. Third minute and ladies resort to jab combinations exchanged from a distance, but this time, Rachel meets her opponent blow for blow, and they take turns landing mutual shots to the face before the bell rings - McAdams with the comeback close round for herself!

ROUND 5:
Bashing shot from Lopilato surprises everyone but the Vixen, as Rachel didn’t see it coming till it landed right between her eyes! The redhead’s in trouble, falling back with her eyes wincing and lips parted! AND HERE LOPILATO COMES, looking for the kill! Crowd ROARS their support as the blonde rushes in, bashing mitts to the tummy before going for broke with ultra uppercuts that cut into McAdams’ arms, trying to break apart her guard! Rachel holding in there, her back glued to the ropes, her face hidden in her arms, body getting rocked left and right but absorbing another hook across the forearms to send her spiraling off to the side! Lopilato still lacks the punching power to bring her foes down, goes chasing after McAdams with more and more tiring shots of her own. The ladies end up in multiple, messy clinches, taking turns smothering each other to the ropes and banging the occasional fist off the body. Rachel, however, manages to catch her breath by the third, scooting to the center and out of the way of another wide swing from Luisa, and they end the round in the same position as before: feet apart, breathing heavily, arms wavering from growing exhaustion.


ROUND 6:
Both women eager to brawl, coming in simultaneously and trading tentative jabs to the head to start. They’ve both caught their breaths somewhat by this time, but Luisa is still eager for her first knockdown of the night, throwing more flurries towards Rachel’s head and body, at one point snapping the redhead’s head back with a crunching cross to the nostrils. McAdams can’t keep up with the younger woman, starts retreating again as she fends off more left-right combos that keep pounding in. Luisa’s pressing in, another lunging right to the tummy seems to drive the air from Rachel’s lips, before a well-timed hook across the chin DOES THE TRICK--!! RACHEL FALLS DOWN to the canvas, landing flat on her chest with a grunt! Is this it?!

Luisa’s too tired to celebrate, halfheartedly raises one of her arms before stumbling back to the neutral corner. Rachel, meanwhile, is shaking her head, already trying to push her way back up. Plenty of fight left in the veteran as she steadies herself by the ropes by the count of 8.

There’s still a minute left on the clock, however, and the Vixen is surely hoping to end things in time for dinner! Rachel braces on the ropes as Luisa throws herself back into the fray, a multitude of punches slammed into her opponent’s arms and body, hoping to drop McAdams a second and final time. But McAdams, wiley fighter she is, constantly locks her arms around the blonde’s, preventing Luisa from pulling her punches back for the killing blow. Instead, Rachel’s fighting strategically, catching her breath on her opponent’s shoulder and stopping the abuse to her own body. Luisa growling with frustration, wrestling with her along the ropes, at times motioning for the referee to do his damn job. The third time both ladies lock up arm-in-arm and the referee steps in to pull them apart, there’s a sudden SWISH of motion from McAdams, as a crunching uppercut STUNS Luisa to the base of her chin!! AND DOWN THE VIXEN GOES!! Holy moley! That came outta nowhere!! Chorus of boos from the crowd but the HELL if Rachel cares! The redhead grins wide, stumbling back to the neutral corner to await the final verdict: the referee hovers over the groaning Luisa, who’s been laid out flat on her back, arms pinned over her head, barely moving! That’s it! He hits the count of 10 and WAVES the rest of this fight off!

Official Decision: Rachel McAdams defeats Luisana Lopilato via KO6!

AFTER:
Not this again! The VIX team are shouting in protest in the immediate aftermath - the referee should have given both fighters some space after that last separation, but the referee is shaking his head and already motioning for the official end of the fight. In the judges’ eyes, what Rachel did was unsportsman-like but well within the rules.

Rachel looks oblivious to the controversy, already parading around the ring with her arms high and pumping in the air. She’s still got what it takes even at the age of 42, knocking out girls ten years younger than her. Meanwhile, Luisa’s getting slowly revived by the medical team, smelling salts applied to the base of her nostrils before she awakens with a teary start. A second loss to McAdams tonight might throw the rest of her future into the air. But for now, all she wants to do is rest, reflect, and get the hell out of here.
