Intro:
Up now is a battle of two lightweights on the cusp of that elite bracket, unbeaten Lily James has shot into the FCBA with four straight wins since joining the League of Mighty Women stable, Cara Delevingne meanwhile has had a mixed run of results since her breakout performance in the European cup tournament, she is always dangerous once those gloves go on to any opponent who takes her lightly.

These two actually have a little history dating back to the debut of Lily, making her debut back in May of last year, Lily defeated Cara's best friend Suki Waterhouse, with Cara working Suki's corner that night, the model got a birds eye view of what Lily could do, of course under the eyes of the League of Mighty Women coaching team she has evolved as a fighter.

Before the fight Lily was asked for a few words from the FCBA Network's reporter Alicia Atout in her stables gym, Lily after finishing her training session with trainer Angelica Bridges, she sits on a bench wearing a black sports bra with gold stripes down the sides, matching shorts, black trainers, a towel over her shoulder as she first shakes the hand of Alicia before they get down to business.

Asked for her thoughts on this fight, Lily admits "I am a little nervous going into this one, after I defeated Cara’s friend, she was quick to claim she wanted to fight me, I'm not used to having an opponent like this yet that seems to hate my guts, especially that Cara is a good fighter, you don't win tournaments here in the FCBA unless you can box." Alicia nodding to her, Lily wipes her sweaty brow with the towel.

She continues "but it's something I have to face head on, I have taken each fight I have had without complaining and I certainly won't about this one, if Cara wants to take my head off then she can try, I'll be ready to out box her and get the win, I've got so long without losing and I don't aim on getting a taste of that soon!" Laughing as she gets a big smile from Alicia, Lily gets up thanking Alicia for the time to talk to the FCBA Network.

Someone clearly not interested in talking to the FCBA Network was Cara, who simply put on her social media "I don't need a cuddly interviewer to get my point across, you were lucky you flabby cow to beat Suki, finally I get to punish you for what you did to poor Suki" making clear she is on a revenge mission for Suki.

Fight night; out the curtain first comes Lily with her coach Angelica beside her, as usual Lily looks in good spirits to go along with her great shape she is in, the actress wearing a black sports bra with a white "LMW" badge on her left bra cup, black trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair tied into a ponytail as she gets into the ring, bowing to each side of the ring before going through her warm up routine with Angelica smiling, looking confident in her fighter.

Now here comes Cara with Suki working her corner tonight alongside her coach, she is wearing a silver coloured sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves with silver thumbs, hair also in a ponytail, she gets a kiss on the cheek from Suki, then steps into the ring with her eyes on Lily, pointing at her with her right glove as she tells her opponent "payback is a bytch like me" thudding her gloves together in a warning.

The referee brings the fighters together, with both women coming with their coaches to the center, Suki barking "oh you are going to get it now" pointing at Lily from behind Cara, Angelica asks Cara "can you please shut your dog up?" With the referee needing to cool off the situation yelling at both to listen to them or the fight will be tossed out, once things have calmed down the instructions are finished off and while Lily puts out her gloves for a respectful fist bump, Cara ignores her to return to her corner, Lily goes to her own and when they are ready, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Coming out their corners in textbook orthodox stances on their toes, trading stiff jabs as they look for openings, Cara swinging in hooks early as she clearly wants to hurt Lily, missing though as she is loading up too much, allowing Lily to move out the way before peppering the face of her opponent with one-two's.

Cara misses with a left cross as she tries stepping in, Lily landing a counter right across the face of the model, knocking her back towards the ropes with a follow up double jab/straight combo, Cara has come out not looking focused enough as Lily is picking her off over the opening minute.

Maybe being pinned around the ropes wakens Cara to that fact, she pushes back Lily before dancing away from the ropes, landing more single punches as she is trying to get her rhythm going, problem for her is that Lily is in gear landing more punches then Cara is, keeping her near the ropes as she holds the middle of the ring.

Final minute to go, Cara finally catches out Lily by leaning out the way of a right cross, a counter left cracks James across her face, then lands a straight into the nose of the older fighter, back goes Lily onto the ropes as Delevingne drives her into them, the round comes to an end with Cara giving Lily a shove to the face with her left, showing little respect for her rival, who shakes her head at her in response.

Round 2:
Back out they come now trading more punches from their guards, Cara starting to ram her jab into the chest of Lily, taking a few digs back over the top into her face, Cara stepping to the left side of Lily, a counter right knocks the head of the actress to the side.

Pressing back her opponent towards the ropes, Cara using her left to keep giving a shove to Lily, swinging her overhand right in to smack her opponent to the side of her head, Lily needing to hold onto Cara to slow that assault down, referee needing to break them up as Cara lands a few rabbit punches behind the head of Lily.

As they resume Lily gets her double jab going again to smack her opponent to the lips, back on her toes moving as well as her head to try to be harder to hit, looking better as they enter the final minute, with Cara hunting after her, trading around the ring as the crowd is getting excited by the action.

Final moments sees Lily do the same as Cara in the opener, landing the best shot of the round, a left cross opens up Delevingne to an uppercut, Cara covering up as Lily comes on the attack, at the bell Lily turns to her corner with Cara getting a fist bump from Suki as they look pleased with how that went.

Round 3:
Eyeing each other up, Cara's eyes narrowed looking full of hate, they slam in more punches through mitts, both have stepped up a gear, Cara trying to push forwards but is met by stern resistance from Lily, who slams in a beautiful one-two to the nose of Delevingne, getting a stiff right back into her forehead.

After a hard fought first minute between them, Lily misses with a straight as Cara moves her head out of the way, a right catches Lily behind her ear, shoving back her fellow Brit towards a neutral corner, slamming in a mixture of punches till Lily can grab her right arm to block it, referee splitting them up.

While Lily gets in a good double jab when they resume, Cara soon deflects a straight punch to land a right of her own into the lips of her opponent, a left hook then sends sweat flying off of Lily's head, working her back again towards the ropes, slamming in several hooks to the body when she has Lily covering up.

Pushing back Cara as Lily is looking a little worried, they trade stiff shots into the other’s face, a left smacks Lily across her lips to cut the bottom one, blood trickling down as Lily is backed up to the ropes again, the round comes to an end with with Cara raising her arms in the air while grinning at Lily, showing her confidence is flowing as Suki jumps around outside the ring as if Cara has won this fight and not just another round.

Round 4:
Lily is a little apprehensive as she comes out, allowing Cara to take the early lead in the round with a one-two through the mitts of James, hitting that cut lip to make the actress hiss as she grimaces, more blood starting to trickle down the chin of Lily as she throws in a combo of her own that doesn't land as flush.

After a solid opening minute, Cara starts getting caught with more cleaner shots as Lily is coming out her shell more, A MISSED RIGHT FROM LILY LEAVES HER OPEN TO A SHOVE WITH THE LEFT SHOULDER OF CARA, THEN DELEVINGNE THROWS AN UPPERCUT THAT SMACKS HER ON THE CHIN TO SEND JAMES ONTO HER BACK!

Crowd roaring as they stand, with Suki blowing Cara a kiss as they are certainly confident that's it! 1...2...3.. But Lily is stirring, moving to her front, 4....5... Pushing up to all fours, Lily shakes her head to clear some fog from it, 6...7... Pushing her way up to her right foot, left knee on the canvas, 8... Lily beats the count with a nod to the referee, fists raised as she is given the all clear to fight on.

Here comes Cara as expected, Lily needing to work off her back foot with her jab, just under half the round to go as she slings in punches into the face of Cara, getting smacked on top of her forehead by the oncoming model, who might be letting her emotions get to her as she isn't cutting the ring off as she should be, giving Lily room to escape her rushes.

Less than twenty seconds to go, Lily shows she has fight in her still as she crouches under a right hook, banging in a left/right body hook combo, then just doesn't quite land flush with an overhand right as Delevingne moves back, the bell rings with Cara telling Lily "next round you are out" pointing at the canvas with her right to make her point very clear, Lily getting a pep talk from Angelica when she sits on her stool.

Round 5:
Out comes Cara looking to not allow Lily another round of action, she continues to be met with staunch resistance as Lily won't wilt yet, she is exchanging with Cara around the center of the ring as both toned Brits smack each other with flurries, getting the crowd roaring as sweat with a little blood goes flying into the air.

Cara tries to step in with a jab/right hook combo, Lily reads it and steps to the left with an overhand right smacking Cara around her temple, Cara blinks as she stumbles back a step, Lily slamming in a follow up one-two that looks to hurt Cara as she backs off with her guard up tight.

Suddenly the tables have turned as Lily is the one driving the action, she is drilling in her punches as Cara isn't landing with the same power as she did before, allowing the LMW fighter to win the exchanges, opening a cut on the bridge of Cara's nose with a scything right cross, then slams in a double jab to snap back the head of the model.

Clinching up with Lily as Suki looks on aghast at seeing her friend being beaten up, Cara looks relieved to have a moment to take a breath, the referee splits them up with Cara boxing more defensively herself, catching Lily on those bloody lips as they now enter the final minute of the round.

Soon enough Lily smacks Cara with a right hook on her chin, Delevingne stumbles into a neutral corner, Lily going in for the kill but the bell rings to end the round with the dominant fighter simply nodding to herself, almost as if telling herself "next time" with Angelica smiling at her, Cara meanwhile is fanned down with a towel by Suki as her coach works on patching her up.

Round 6:
Back out they come with neither rushing in, Cara doesn't seem to have the same bite behind her punches, leading to her eating an overhand right again around that temple, then a left hook on the chin rocks Cara's head around, AS CARA'S GUARD SPLITS OPEN, LILY IS RIFLING PUNCH AFTER PUNCH INTO HER FACE, REFEREE WATCHING CLOSELY, MAYBE THINKING OF STOPPING THIS! A RIGHT HOOK CATCHES CARA AROUND THE TEMPLE AGAIN, TIMBER! DOWN GOES CARA TO HER RIGHT SIDE WITH A THUD!

Lily jogs over to the neutral corner right away, looking at Angelica with hopeful eyes that she has done it, 1...2...3...4.. Cara's eyes are shut as her mouthpiece hangs out her mouth, 5...6...7... Suki yelling "get up babe!" At her friend, getting no real response beyond a pained groan, 8...9...10 that's it! Delevingne has been counted out!

After:
What a comeback! Lily stormed back after being beaten back and even put down, never question the resilience of this young woman, who rushes over to her corner to yell "I did it!" Excitedly to her coach, Angelica giving her the thumbs up in reply with a big smile herself, loving the enthusiasm of her protégé.

On the other hand Suki is in tears as she watches the coach of Cara with the ringside doctor check on her, soon Cara comes around groaning as that knockout was clearly no joke, she is helped to sit up by her coach, Suki nearly next to her giving Cara a big hug.

After the doctor checks on Cara they confirm they'd like her to go to the medical area for more tests to be sure that she is OK, Suki turns with red eyes from crying, yelling at Lily "I hope you are happy bytch! *sniffs* don't think this is the last you've seen of us!" As Lily looks dumbfounded by Suki's outburst, Cara is helped safely out the ring with Suki following, hoping her bestie is OK after the pasting she got at the end there.

Lily for her part just shrugs her shoulder, not too worried about any retribution from either, especially now she holds wins over them in the ring, Angelica wiping her face down after getting her gloves off, telling her "forget those two goofballs, you have a great future ahead and they certainly are not part of it" making Lily smile warmly back.

Walking to the center of the ring for the result to be made official, Lily gets her left arm raised to a loud cheer with whistles, Lily blows a kiss to the fans as she goes on a lap of honour, beaming understandably as this is another step towards the elite in the FCBA, you can't really doubt right now that she will make there as she looks sublime in the ring and now is showing her toughness off.

Climbing out the ring with Angelica beside her, Lily gets the right arm of her coach around her shoulders and a lot of praise for a job well done. Who is next to take on Lily and try to end this unbeaten run of seven straight wins in both organizations?
