1. Nell Tiger Free (VIX Debut) vs Emma Watson

Nell:

BEFORE:
“I’m excited to make my debut, of course,” Nell says with a wide smile after stripping down to her fighting attire: an off-white sports bra and red boxing trunks. “Especially against someone like Emma. I remember watching her own debut against Lily Collins a couple of years ago. It was tough for her, but she still gave it her all. I’m determined to do the same tonight.”

Emma Watson makes her return to the ring, earning a standing ovation before the British darling even steps foot in the squared circle. The Harry Potter actress scored recent victories over Cheryl Cole and Hayley Williams, and looks to welcome the newest VIX member with a kiss of leather to the forehead as well.

“Lily didn’t go easy on me when I made my debut. While I profess myself to be the exact opposite of Collins, I’m not going to go easy on Nell either,” Emma says with a smile from her corner of the ring. “I’ve watched Nell come and go over the last couple of months, of course. Even sparred with her a few times. She’s got what it takes to be a Vixen, and win or lose tonight, Nell, I want you to know you’re welcomed here!”

Ladies actually share a brief hug later on, then touch gloves before heading back to their corners. Emma’s wearing a pink sports bra, white trunks and red gloves. Looks like they’re both set and ready to go! There’s the referee’s wave of the hand and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Emma makes short work of the newcomer in the very first round, walking in with a certain cocky demeanour before planting leather clean into Nell’s arms and face without hesitation. The Harry Potter starlet hasn’t been faring too well in the polls recently, falling to Avril Lavigne recently and now hoping to redeem her honour. She presses in with aggression, not giving the newbie any room to breathe. Nell’s handling it well though, a flurry or two slamming into her chin and nose but for the most part, falling back well on both feet, keeping her arms up and locked and trying to fend her off. Nell manages to do some damage of her own late in the round, stunning Emma with a hand or two shoved into her cheek, but for the most part, the existing and original British starlet takes the round wide with her aggressive moves.

ROUND 2:
Emma still all-smiles as she marches in for the second time. The Brit’s even raising one of her hands high to the cheers before pulling it back and slamming it hard into the center of Nell’s guard. It’s clear one girl is toying with the other, and with the loud cheers of her fans at her back, perhaps Watson thinks she can do no wrong. The first two minutes shows the same result: Emma trouncing inwards, battering her fists all over the arms and body, before a wide hook is narrowly missed when Tiger Free jumps out of the way. Emma’s efforts to corner the rookie are just not bearing much fruit, Tiger Free staying agile and spending enough time in her training to weave that pretty head of hers out of the way just in time. A cuffing hook across the cheek appears to turn the tide suddenly, with Nell sending a counter-swing clean to the side of Emma’s face, earning her a grunt and shake of the head. Emma, unfazed, returns with a snap jab to the chin but then catches another power-hook to the side of the head, which stuns her further. Nell takes control in the final seconds, chasing Emma backwards, and this fight just got interesting with the two British actresses squaring off for more action!

ROUND 3:
Signs of resistance from Nell in the first few seconds, with the newcomer suddenly rushing in to try and give Emma a piece of her own mind. But Watson is everything and adaptable, quickly moving sideways to avoid a wild flurry to her head before slamming her own combination back into Nell’s oncoming face. Tiger Free’s gambit hasn’t paid off, the young blonde now suffering the consequences as her chin gets lifted by a step-in uppercut and another hook sent across her face for payback. Emma grinning and smirking, both hands streaking in overtime as she batters and targets the rookie’s face. Nell lets out another grunt as she takes a stiff hand to the nose, now forced to fall back and return to both hands over her face. Well, at least she tried! Emma goes to work over her body, crowding close and sending rippling shots to her ribs and abs, working Nell over on the ropes for brief periods of time before Tiger Free manages to shove her off. Shutout round for the original Vixen, who surges ahead in terms of points and confidence!

ROUND 4:
But that all goes away when the bell rings for the fourth. Emma striding in as always, fists barely covering her smirk on her face when a cross suddenly disappears into her face! Nell was expected to run away, scared after that last round of beating. But nosiree! The rookie surprises the veteran with a sudden overhand right to the kisser, and Emma’s head gets snapped backwards with a groan, always throwing her off balance right there and then! Nell shows no quarter this time either, bashing follow-up punches all over Emma’s frame. And it’s Watson’s turn to grunt and let out shouts of pain as she gets pushed back towards the ropes! Emma attempts to stem the assault with a couple of jabs sent back at the head, but Nell shrugging those off, plowing her fists into that pale tummy and then seeking the chin with a vengeance. Emma gets blasted into the ropes and has to hang on for the final few seconds, her mouth hanging open as she takes another pumping uppercut to the stomach before the bell rings, and the referee pulls Nell off of her.

ROUND 5:
Emma suddenly realises this ain’t gonna be an easy fight against the newcomer. Many people forget that Nell almost KO’ed Lily Collins in their first meeting and debut match. If she could do THAT, what else could happen tonight? Emma’s fighting more cautiously for once, staying away and letting her counter-jabs do the talking. Nell’s been briefed about her opponent’s weapons, of course, staying away for the first minute but still venturing inwards to test the actresses’ reflexes for herself. She pays the price as a result, eating counter-jabs to her mouth and nose as Emma blocks and weaves and then powers her punches in between the open arms to bash her head back. Nell looks a little groggy when she takes a one-two to the forehead and cheek, before Emma follows up with a step-in uppercut that grazes her chin! Nell’s floundering backwards, looking like she’s in trouble!! AND HERE COMES EMMA, pouncing in for the kill with more flurries cutting into the arms and body, earning more groans before swinging high - a hook SWIVELS Nell’s head to the side before the poor newbie spins on her feet, hits the ropes and then GOES DOWN TO THE GROUND with a loud THUMP!! It’s a KNOCKDOWN for Emma Watson, and a well-deserved one at that!

Nell’s on her chest, head rising slowly as she attempts to push herself up to all fours. Meanwhile, Emma’s pumping her arms back to her corner, looking smug once again as she rests her back against the turnbuckle. Nell slowly rises with the referee’s count, before finally steadying herself by the count of 8! Quite a scare there for the latest Vixen, but she shows her tenacity to continue for the long-haul!

ROUND 6:
Reviews are still mixed with Emma’s latest cocky look. That British smirk is plastered across her face as the Vixen marches in to try and finish her newest stablemate off. Combos are landing first on Nell’s guard, with Emma trying to break those arms apart and seek that vulnerable chin. But Tiger Free is still moving away with speed, her back skirting the ropes to avoid being trapped in one corner. Slowly but surely, Watson is slowing down, breathing hard as she stops giving chase after the first minute. It’s Tiger Free’s turn to pounce back, delivering a snap jab to the lips that throws Watson back a couple of steps. Slowly, Nell regains her footing, shooting that right hand inwards again and again to sting Emma on the face, chest and body, this time driving her back towards one end of the ropes. Emma’s guard suddenly in tatters as another cross-hand is driven straight in - too fast for her to catch as Nell throws her foe’s head over the ropes with a loud shout of pain!! OUCH!! Emma’s eyes are still wide with shock as she goes rebounding and then falling forward, her elbows and knees hitting the canvas in a return KNOCKDOWN in the second minute!! Wow-ser! These two starlets aren’t f*cking around!

Nell with a tired but confident nod of her own as she circles back to her corner, one eye always on Watson’s heaving form. Emma taking her time, slowly pushing her way back up - despite their cordial nature and pleasantries earlier in the evening, what an embarrassment this would be to the actress if she were to lose to a complete rookie! She steadies both feet by the count of 8, and the referee waves for this round to continue!

Nell, however, doesn’t look affected by the label, immediately marching back in to continue the punishment. There’s still a minute and a half left on the clock, and Emma needs to dig deep if she wants to go far. Wild exchange erupts near the ropes when Nell first lunged at Emma’s head, only for both women to engage in a free-for-all of punches slammed into both faces and sent pounding into each other’s torsos. Watson initially earns a respite when she absorbs a hook with a raised arm, returns with a counter of her own that shocks Nell across the cheek. But Tiger Free wants this MORE badly, immediately ducking under and shoving both hands into the Brit’s body, folding Emma over with a strangled grunt. Emma tries to wind back to deliver her next attack but gets DINGED on the chin by a faster uppercut! OUCH!! Watson’s getting MANGLED against the ropes, Nell growling and forcing her hands into every inch of her being! Soon, Watson SLUMPS over into the rookie’s arms, her own gloves draped over the shoulders, mouth open wide and gasping for air as Tiger Free buries leather into her body! THAT’S IT!! The referee has seen enough!! He pulls Tiger Free off the battered British princess to earn her first TKO6 victory of her career as a Vixen!!

Official Decision: Nell Tiger Free defeats Emma Watson via TKO6!

AFTER:
Holy hell! What a debut performance for Nell Tiger Free, who immediately goes running back to her corner with both arms thrown high into the air! She came into this fight not expecting much to happen, least of all a win against the legendary Emma Watson, but here she is, hugging her fight team and then mounting the second turnbuckle with a big smile on her face.

Meanwhile, Emma is being helped back to her own corner, groaning and mewing into the referee’s arms, her body taking a beating but her pride hurt much worse at the end of tonight’s fight. Word is the Vixen is on a downward spiral, with another grueling AMD bout with Katherine McNamara just around the corner to test her fortunes.

Later, Nell tries to be a good sportswoman and circles back to Emma’s side to check on her status. But when she tries to offer Emma a hand up from her stool, Watson pretends not to notice it, turning her face away and whispering for her to get lost and leave her alone.

Nell’s clearly dejected, but when the referee raises her hand to the cheering crowds, that innocent grin is back and beaming wide. We definitely predict big things for the British actress, especially if beating a former Flyweight champion is just the base camp of her budding career!
