Before: Despite both being a top ten lightweights, Tasya has as yet failed to emerge onto the FCBA collective consciousness. Still, there isn’t a lot of the Tiffany elite left for whoever emerges as champion this evening, so you can’t say she’s not motivated! Eiza bouncing back from a terrible 2020 to the point where she was at the beginning of the year, as her title fight last month shows.

R1: Eiza marches in dukes-at-cheeks but encounters blonde jab: Tasya in good stance, left foot forward, putting heavy poke onto approaching brunette. Two jabs for Teles as Gonzalez bobs and blocks, then blonde girl covers up earmuff, allowing brunette to swing thick to ribs. Eiza whacking away right/left, then covering up: Tasya clips the short right uppercut in tight, then loops the left arm around Mexican's head, folding her into clinch. Ref's break pushes Gonzalez back...once again she weaves forward against blonde's pawing jab and the occasional short right hand...once the range closes and Teles covering up, brunette works thick to the body before blonde can tie up. Leggy, springy routine until late, Tasya’s left hand pulling Eiza's head down in the clinch when Blonde girl shoves a short, shoulder-shrugging right uppercut clean to chin. EIZA'S LEGS SPASM! Brunette slumping into blonde chest, glutes ringing in alarm, Teles ties up rather than seeking to exploit the opportunity.

R2: Tasya right hand chest-high as she jabs Eiza in, then it's whacking tit for tat as girls take turns walloping away until blonde ties up. Gonzalez wading in compact earmuff, blocking shots on her shoulders/biceps, crowding close, pounding the pudding downstairs. Teles cute with her left hand - often holding Eiza's head down to get cheap right uppercuts in tight, then tying up completely. Down the stretch Gonzalez oppressing Teles against ropes, her head on blonde's chest, Tasya laying back into cables to cuff a short left hook to jaw; shrugs a short right uppercut home to chin. Eiza forms crossed-arm against her chest, stooping forward as Teles hacks hook-to-hip/right to flank-rib, but then carves out a chunk of tummy with a vicious palm-up cut-across left hook! Both fighters doubled up in pain, unable to answer, Eiza folds Tasya’s head in under left arm for a front headlock to run the remaining seconds.

R3: Tasya’s jab continues to cause Eiza problems – blonde’s really banging away with it every chance she gets, crisp connects genuinely harming the brunette. Eiza’s disrupted by the constant fire, unable to execute as she’d like to – she’s trying to set up her own jab but frequently getting preempted by Teles, and when she does land it’s usually with less effect. Tasya’s moving her feet well, working angles to try and exploit openings in Eiza’s defense whenever she can find them – she’s often doubling up her left or following up with a right to the stomach or flank, drawing winces or soft whines of pain from the Mexican fighter. Steady stream of little bites adds up as the round draws on – fight slowly migrates from midring to the ropes as Teles takes more and more canvas from Gonzalez. Closing moments – Tasya’s backed Eizaup to the ropes, punches open her guard and UNLEASHES, pounding brunette jugs with furious crisscross mugging. Eiza’s openmouthed in shock, cringing and helpless as her rack is ransacked, blinking back tears, scowling as the bell rings

R4: Eiza’s reading Tasya well, slipping the blonde’s jab or preempting it with her own, taking it away from her as she takes the fight to the inside. Furious punching from Gonalez as she leans into fight mouth on shoulder, swiping at Tasya’s torso with both fists, occasionally getting in an odd uppercut to snap at her tits, and overall making the older woman feel her weight. Tasya’s clinching when she can, punching back when she can’t, but the pattern’s the same as the scene repeats itself across all minutes – blonde’s forced to trade on Eiza’s terms, and under those conditions, comes in a decisive second

R5: Spitting brace of jabs and abrupt right crosses punches Tasya to ropes: she covers up face in gloves - lolling back against the cables, then slumping forward as Eiza lands to ribcage. Gonzalez short, muscular with her punches, busy: she squares away, going at wilting Teles with tidy, clobbering lefts and rights bouncing off rigid blonde torso. Eiza holds hands in ready position at her chest - clubbing, swatting, cuffing at Tasya with rising, curling blows. Teles sidestepping behind her mitts into the neutral corner under heavy fire. As Eiza's guard loosens, Tasya's squirting nasty little right and left uppercuts through, picking brunette up as she's pressing forward. Two way action in the corner, fighters set strong, working hard, staying compact, pushing and shouldering to bounce each other gently the ropes to reset. Down the stretch, right uppercut bounces off Eiza's face, knocking it back, pounding the mouthpiece off her teeth. Her eyes are half shut, no longer registering. Left uppercut jostles brunette's chin; chopping short right takes her cheek, tilts her woozy against ropes. Teles pinching in, just chopping her fists tidy against Gonzalez - touching, touching, touching her and EIZA GOES DOWN! Gonzalez just folding forward in stages, out on her feet as Tasya's constant drubbing drums her to sleep. Eiza pools face first at Tasya's feet, 100% used up. Payback KO5 in resounding fashion for Tasya Teles as Bonzo evens the score!
