BEFORE: The undefeated bantamweight champion Sophia Thomalla has chosen singer Vera Brezhneva for her next title defense but there are more challengers knocking on the German's door including gravure model Harumi Nemoto who looks to rise above her bitter rivalry against Yoko Matsugane and spoil the European's party in the foreseeable future. While Sophia refused to comment on the matter for the time being, Vera is the one who warns Harumi about counting her chickens too early: "I've waited a long time for another silverware opportunity after that cheap cow Helen Flanagan somehow knocked me out a while back. I know Sophia has had a great run so far but every run has to end one day! And I'm gonna drop this #### on her tawdry ass tonight! And then we'll talk about MY championship schedule!"

Sophia Thomalla wears a black bikini set & red gloves. Long brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. Vera Brezhneva wears a blue bikini set & yellow gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Vera comes out hot and tries to outwork the reigning champion in a heads up slugging dispute but Sophia fends off the early attacks and counters the singer over the top which still triggers a crowd-pleasing action. Both women dish out high-octane effort and Vera holds her own against the former amateur kickboxer who appears to be slightly annoyed when she eats a sudden left/right double on each temple. This attack fuels the blonde's slugging charge and she backs Thomalla onto the ropes where she smacks her on the chin several times and drills a hard right hand on the navel afterwards. Ugh! Sophia has to clinch the challenger and traps her in a proper headlock down the line which forces the referee into action but that's exactly what the actress wanted as the clock expires before Brezhneva can resume her attacks.

Round 2:
Sophia realizes Vera means business here and triggers another head-hunting blast to see if she can overwhelm the singer in a proper slugging charge. Vera accepts the challenge but gets busted on the nose too often during the initial tangle and has to think better off it when Thomalla ups the tempo and backs her onto the ropes outright. The champion's one-dimensional attack still does the trick and even a brave Ukrainian challenger has to bail out of danger as she slips underneath the German's attack and sets off on a defensive retreat which only makes Sophia smile in cheeky fashion. She taunts Vera to come after her but the blonde settles for a single-hand counterpunches that don't really serve any purpose and the champion evens the cards with ease.

Round 3:
Brezhneva rallies around the brunette's elbows to spike her on the ribcage but Sophia works a spirited uppercut drive from the inside and tags the blonde's chin often enough to slump her on the heels before a quick right hook finds the temple and wobbles the challenger into mid-distance. Vera tries to land some punches from behind the guard but she fails to dissect the German's high-guard and has to yield real estate when Thomalla outworks her in the phone booth during the second minute. Vera doesn't have the agility to prevent Sophia from enforcing the close range whenever possible and ends up hugging the ropes when the younger woman barges her in the chest with some rare jug shots. Vera keeps bouncing off the forearms in response and cuts a frustrated figure at the bell.

Round 4:
Another high quality jabbing exchange in the opening minute where Vera manages to block off the champion's attacks but then she misfires when trying to gain advantage and she loses her plot when both women accidentally clash heads moments later. Sophia regains the groove first and slams a left/right combo into the singer's face before driving up onto the ropes with a speedy hooking attack. Vera swings from behind the guard but cuts thin air and has to embrace a rare jug muggin' attack as Sophia piles on the hard leather up the middle to freeze the older woman in a tight trap on the ropes. Brezhneva tries to swing more from behind the guard but only grazes the brunette's flesh and opens up too much in the process so Thomalla gashes her with repeated hooks come the final minute and leaves the blonde nursing a couple of visible lumps on both cheeks at the bell.

Round 5:
Sophia weathers a rather desperate charge from the Ukrainian singer and picks her off with methodical precision thereafter. Vera's head bounces around in worrying fashion now as she struggles to lock her guard while the German champion kicks into a higher gear and pummels her with brutal effect down the stretch. She bumps the wilting challenger onto the ropes and splits the high guard with ease forcing Brezhneva to seek another clinch for lack of better options. Sophia almost breaks free with a knee strike in the stomach but she abandons the dirty clinch at the last second and keeps piling more standard boxing punches for remainder of the round taking full advantage of Vera's visible physical issues. The blonde challenger hangs on until the bell but shakes her head in frustration while the Eagles entourage encourages Sophia to finally step up with the highlight finish!

Round 6:
Sophia answers those calls and rips into the blonde's face with a blitzing venom to stuff Vera in the center of the ring. The older woman tries to match the brunette's intensity but to no avail as Thomalla shatters her resistance and knocks more crisp punches into both cheeks slumping the blonde into loud spasms. Vera wobbles forward and doesn't even control her clinching attempt as Sophia NAILS her with one power hook on the ear too many to SEND HER CRASHING FACE-DOWN on the canvas!!! Woof! Vera tries to avoid the looming disaster but she only gets up onto all fours at seven and sits down on her heels thereafter with the knockdown daze too extreme to shake off at this stage. She is duly counted out! KO6 and STILL the BBU bantamweight chamopion Sophia Thomalla!!!

AFTER: Sophia takes win number twelve and blows a kiss to the camera before walking back to her corner where she tells Gina Wild to contact the Revolution Boxing over the next title defense: "Look, if these.. ahem... models want to make my numbers even better we're gonna let them come and bite and dust! I just beat a very ambitious cougar and Harumi is even two years older... she has no idea what she's signed up for but I guess time isn't exactly on her side."

Sophia's arm is raised few moments later and she offers Vera a warm hug before annoucing that she will take Harumi Nemoto's offer while most other BBU fighters still scramble around the idea of fighting the undefeated German champion. Will anyone stop this elite run of success anytime soon?
