5. Nell Tiger Free vs Stella Hudgens

Nell:

BEFORE:
Nell Tiger Free is coming off a big win over fellow stablemate, Emma Watson, and now setting her sights on something a little bigger: none other than the sister of the current Flyweight champion, Stella Hudgens. The step-up in competition doesn’t seem to faze the young British starlet, however, as she brushes her blonde hair back and takes her seat at the press table earlier.

“I saw Vanessa’s comments to the press, and I didn’t want to respond on purpose. I hope she knows that tonight’s fight with her sister is nothing personal, despite what transpired in the elevator weeks ago. And personally, I hope Stella understands that it’s nothing against her by the end of this night, when I KO her in five rounds. My hope is to test myself against the very best competition, and that’s surely credit and praise to BOTH the Hudgens sisters. Stella’s bigger and has had more experience than me, so it’s definitely going to be an interesting match-up!”

Stella Hudgens, however, is a little less than cordial, entering the press hall earlier with a scowl and glare in Nell’s direction, before responding in kind: “What the stupid Vixens did to my sister was unforgivable. You don’t disrespect the Flyweight champion and live to tell the tale. Lily Collins is going to find that out the hard way when Nessa spanks her ass at the end of the month on the PPV,” Stella says. “As for me, I’m here to teach this newbie a lesson she’ll never forget.”

Ladies stare each other down on stage and it’s surely a tense affair, with Nell being only one-inch taller but trying her best to maintain her cool, though it’s a little difficult with Hudgens constantly trying to muscle her way in and force her foreheads to butt. Some fire in turn from Tiger Free, who’s had enough of this unwanted intimidation, it seems, roughly shoving Stella backwards with both hands, which almost sparks an all-out melee there and then. But the fight teams quickly intervene, leading both girls away with much difficulty, before this heated press conference finally ends.

Hours later, Nell Tiger Free finds herself in the well-deserved honour of the Main Event of tonight’s match card, walking down the aisle in a dark blue sports bra and white tights, waving to the crowds enthusiastically. Later in the ring, she straps on white gloves for this contest. Hudgens looks focused when it’s her turn to march down the aisle to the sound of bubblegum pop music, looking toned as well in an all-black bikini that’s covered temporarily by a white shawl over both shoulders. She’s in a pair of pink gloves for this match.

Without further ado, the referee gets the nod from both corners, and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Nell controls Stella well enough in the opening round, keeping her distance and avoiding Stella’s sudden outbursts and swings towards her head with practised agility. It’s clear that Stella wants to knock her out on her ass, but the bulkier Hudgens sister is having trouble actually connecting, her hooks hitting the air or the forearms as Nell weaves backwards or leaps out of the way with agility each time. Instead, Tiger Free’s counter-attacking with jabs to Stella’s face, expertly scoring early points as she bunches up the cheek and even bashes a couple of left-right combos into her curvy body. Not the dominant opening Stella was going for, but credit where it’s due, as Hudgens continues to chase down the rookie and score power-shots into her arms to send her packing down the line, until a final swing to the body has the potential to do some damage if Nell hadn’t had the foresight to quickly scamper out of range. A wide round still goes to the Brit though, leaving Stella seething on her way back to her corner as the bell rings.

ROUND 2:
Stella moves in with a lot more focus this time, bashing combos into Nell’s arms and in no hurry to knock her lights out if it means she’s able to score off the Brit’s body and arms. Nell’s not used to these strategic attacks of her opponent’s, grunting as she takes another jab to the chest before barely absorbing another hook slammed into her side tummy. Girls get into an all-out brawl in the middle of the ring in the second minute, tying up in each other’s arms whilst wrestling for the better position to sock the other girl to the chin or side of the face. Nell’s corner of course worried that their girl’s in no position for a prolonged face-to-face brawl, with Steve Boyd shouting at her back till Tiger Free finally frees up space and scampers away, but not before taking another dinging one-two combo to the mouth. Stella’s taken this round, we estimate, but not by much.

ROUND 3:
Nell’s playing it cautious, perhaps learning a thing or two from her fellow Flyweights on the VIX roster. But following in the footsteps of Emma Watson certainly isn’t advisable given how shoddy the rest of this year has been for the Harry Potter starlet. Nell keeps her distance in the very first minute, only firing back when she senses an opening in between Hudgen’s swings. But that simply means Stella is able to land more attacks on the Brit’s arms and body, at one point almost tossing her head back when an uppercut cuts into the middle of her arms - one that was certainly aimed high for her chin. f*ck if Stella cares, with the American brunette STORMING in regardless, continuing to WAIL UPON Nell’s arms in head-hunting and body-thumping action! Groans elicited from Nell’s lips as she’s getting pushed unceremoniously back to the ropes, hugging her body and her eyes squeezed shut, unable to defend herself when yet another hook catches her stiff on the face, and DOWN SHE GOES, having spun off to the side and collapsing to her knees!! Could this be an early night for the newest Vixen?!? Stella certainly thinks so, already parading back to her corner with both hands thrown high into the air! But it’s certainly NOT over, with the referee beginning the count and Nell already trying to rise and beat it. The English actress looks dazzled but not about to give up just yet, steadying herself by the ropes and giving a nod to the referee to indicate she wants to continue! It’s a scare indeed for the VIX corner, though some might argue the night is still young, as are these two hotly contested girls!

ROUND 4:
AND HERE STELLA COMES, hoping to end this fight before the fifth round even begins! The younger Hudgens is certainly emboldened by her older sister’s latest Flyweight title run, and she slams a hard cross into Nell’s arms in the opening seconds as a warm wake-up call that she ain’t to be messed with either. Nell’s back in survival mode, locking her arms over her head and already moving like her life and career depended on it. She weathers the early assault well enough, blocking more strikes with her training as Stella tries to blow her off her feet with another powerful cross hand mixed with a hook slammed to the arms, but only managing to elicit grunts from the blonde’s lips when they slam into her body. Nell’s occasionally jabbing back, but they’re more of a deterrent than anything venomous, trying to keep Stella from closing in and going to town on her once more. By that metric, she succeeds at the end of the round, and Stella, though she’s taken it via shutout, is the one breathing hard and stumbling back to her corner.

ROUND 5:
Nell’s still circling and moving faster than her counterpart in the first minute of the fifth, back to easily avoiding Stella’s opening combos and sudden rushes towards her, before rocking the shorter girl with fast hands that bunch up the cheek and score off the chest. Stella’s not looking too good all of a sudden, finding it necessary to cover up when the British girl’s attacks come pouring into her personal space instead. Stella, in particular, is having greater difficulty defending against her foe’s longer reach advantage, with Nell able to pick at her face with jabs from a distance, and Stella having to run in closer in order to score her own punches. Tiger Free capitalises this time round, smashing another one-two combo into the lips and nose before leaping out of the way of another big right hand from Hudgens. If Nell keeps up this momentum, she’s definitely able to make a comeback!

ROUND 6:
Hudgens is breathing hard, both arms wavering in front of her chest as she marches in for the sixth. She still wants to blow Nell off her feet, but it’s hard to do so with a foe you can’t really catch. Nell, by contrast, has spent loads of time in the gym and plenty of fights this year alone to maintain her excellent energy and stamina. She’s running circles around Stella in the first two minutes, continuing to punish the shorter girl with snappy jabs to the face and pepper her body. Hudgens sees a glimmer of success when she tries a final rush towards the Brit, digging deep and flattening that accelerator in a final spurt of swung hooks and crosses. Nell grunts as she’s bent over by a low hook packed into the body, but she manages to swerve to the side as another hook aimed high sails harmlessly over instead. Instead, Tiger Free punishes Stella with a hook of her own that’s slapped into the side of the face, which stuns the American, before a series of drawn-back crosses come CRASHING into Stella’s nostrils and lips over and over and over again! NELL’S ON FIRE HERE, driving Stella backwards with barely any resistance from the younger Hudgens sister, who merely groans and panics, her arms flailing about madly! Hudgens’ head is getting snapped backwards repeatedly, her face disappearing over and over in Nell’s full-on leather gloves, till a final straight cross CLOTHESLINES the poor sister off her feet, and FLAT onto her back!! It’s a return KNOCKDOWN from Nell Tiger Free!! Stella’s been left absolutely KO’ed on the canvas, her eyelids fluttering and making no move to get back up! The referee seems to concur, immediately waving his hands over her prone body! This fight’s OVER!

Official Decision: Nell Tiger Free defeats Stella Hudgens via KO6!

AFTER:
“Vanessa! I’m not calling you out just yet,” Nell beams into the microphone in the immediate post-fight, smiling wide and waving to the crowds. “I just beat your sister, but I think I need to beat Lily before I get to beating you. Whoever wins at the end of the month, I hope you keep me in mind for the future.”

Meanwhile, Stella has significantly mellowed in her corner. Having been KO’ed and your face puffed up red will do wonders to your ego, that’s for sure. She accepts Nell’s offer of a hand much later on, begrudgingly taking it and sharing a brief embrace with the young starlet, before making a hasty retreat from the arena.

Nell Tiger Free is certainly different from some of the existing stablemates on the roster, and she hopes to carve her own way to the top!
