BEFORE: Former lightweight title challenger Yasmin Verheijen returns to beach boxing action in the Mykonos Island where Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader hopes to secure her own championship opportunity in the foreseeable future. Yasmin realizes what the American's ultimate goal is but she needs more high-profile scalps on her own resume given that some pundits claimed she wasn't quite ready to face champion Holly Peers back in April to begin with.

Over to Brooks who dismisses the idea she's losing her patience and becoming a beach boxing speciallist might actually harm her elite aspirations: "I'm totally good enough to wear that championship belt on both sides of the Atlantic. Maybe my name isn't spoken with authority just yet but it will be... soon! I feel like I'm a single win away from the promise land... and two wins from... oh, you know what I mean! It's Mykonos where everyone shows up in the summer. The biggest beach boxing stage east of Cannes so I'm frickin' ready to blow this stuffed witch up!"

Yasmin Verheijen wears a beige bandeau bikini set & orange gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. Brooks Nader wears a black bikini set & red gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose waves. Both women are barefoot. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Yasmin gets off to a better start and piles early head shots to move the American around the sand before looping a nasty hook on the ear that sinks the fellow brunette on her heels and allows the Dutch model to build on her advantage. She rips more leather from close range and splits Nader's guard while driving her onto the makeshift ropes where she applies a genuine swarming attack to beat the American into a shocking standstill. Woof! Is Brooks ready for primetime then? She has to clinch Yasmin in order to limit the damage but gets promptly tossed to the sand when Verheijen loses her patience outright. The crowd actually likes this foxy boxing approach and Yasmin gets away with it without a warning while Books remains trapped on the ropes when the fight is resumed. Cue in more Dutch menace and Brooks has to bellow out behind another earmuff cover for remainder of the round.

Round 2:
Another slugging start from the Dutch model but this time Brooks covers her off upstairs and drops several body shots to cash in with the response. Both women trade hard leather in the center of the ring kicking up a lot of sand and raising loud noise from the Greek crowd. Brooks bangs a vicious left hook that cuts Yasmin below the right eye half-way through the round and ups the slugging tempo thereafter. Verheijen tries to match this intensity but bounces off the forearms too often before Brooks slams another harpoon drive on the midsection that cripples the older brunette into noticeable spasms. Ugh! Yasmin spins away from the phone booth stance and has Nader barking at her come the bell with the scorecards probably even after two.

Round 3:
Another high-octane slugging early in the third with both women going all-in for the desired haymaker... the precision isn't quite there to provide the highlight effect but the sheer volume of Nader's punches makes Verheijen blink first especially after she soaks up another cut below the left eye. Brooks glues her mitts into the Dutchwoman's face before a lenghty clinch stalls the action. Payback is served anyway when Nader performs a hip toss and sends Yasmin face-down on the sand half-way into the final minute. Uh-oh! How about this then? Yasmin keeps her emotions in tact but still gets pounded back to the ropes with Brooks barely missing with a slam dunk double right at the bell. She skims off Verheijen's forehead but vows to hit the jackpot in the next round anyway while the referee pulls her back; the Lioness entourage tries to reboot their model's challenge during a hectic spell with Karolina Kurkova taking over the headmaster control over Mel B.

Round 4:
Brooks throws all those Lioness plans out of the window whe she NAILS Yasmin with a vicious double on each temple seconds into the fourth before blasting a well-measured harpoon on the solar plexus. Ugh! Yasmin wobbles forward with a whimper and this time Nader doesn't miss with the slam dunk attempt as she TAGS the ailing foe on the chin and DROPS HER FLAT ON HER BACK amid some loud cheers from the Mykonos patrons! Yasmin tries to gather her thoughts as she sits down on her heels before making a relatively unbothered rise to her feet at eight. Brooks remains unmoved as she rests on the ropes and mounts immediate attack that flushes the Dutchwoman into hectic defense but more punches blow into Yasmin's face and render her vulnerable. Brooks digs her forearm into the pageant's boobs and whacks her on the nose before a jabbing rally cripples the former title challenger into loud spasms but she gets rescued by the bell at the last moment!

Round 5:
Yasmin tries to find a slugging response but eats another hooking double over the top and just can't stop an uppercut series that follows and knocks her head back repeatedly. Uh-oh! Brooks tears another small gash under the left eye and is well on her way to rearrange the fellow brunette's face before she simply punks Verheijen in the rack AND DROPS HER TO HER KNEES with relative ease! Woof! Some grim faces in the Lioness corner as Yasmin looks ready to head for the exit door but she comes back to her feet at eight. She cuts a rather beaten figure though and remains stuck in the hole while Nader SMOKES her with another left/right combo on each temple... the guard falls by the wayside so the incoming left hook on the jaw PUTS YASMIN DOWN AND OUT as she half-spins face-down on the sand!!! Ref waves the count off as he realizes this is too much punishment for the Dutch model. KO5 Brooks Nader!!!

AFTER: More cheers from the Mykonos audience as Brooks parades around the ring and plants her foot on the fallen opponent's back before offering a message to Karolina Kurkova in the Lioness corner: "If Holly Peers passes on me again then I'd be happy to bash your face in next! Consider this a challenge!" The Czech model waves off the immediate reaction calls from the crowd and puts a brave face on: "Well, I might wait until Holly f#### you up so you will crawl to my feet and beg for this opportunity! You're nothing but a filthy pig anyway!" Brooks bursts into laughter and winks back at the otherwise shaken blonde but most BBU pundits realize the Louisiana native might be on the verge of true stardom and Kurkova's recent results just don't match well versus the in-form Sports Illustrated counterpart. The lightweight championship plot thickens as Holly Peers remains silent on social media... for the time being!
