BEFORE:

"If I'm honest," says Nessa with a smile, "Where Billie is right now, that's where I want to be. And, I know I have the talent to get there. It's just about showing people I deserve opportunities. And, that starts tonight."

"I actually like this girl," says Billie with a nod. "She's got talent and desire and she could be going places. But, tonight, the only place she's going is to the canvas."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'I Hope Ur Miserable Until Ur Dead', and here comes the singer of that tune, the lovely Nessa Barrett!"

McCarthy: "YAWN! Another wannabe. Another Typical Dancing Hooker Opponent. NO FCBA wins. WHY must I be subjected to this every month? WHY?"

O'Dell (sighing): "Nessa wasting no time getting into the ring. She's helped off with the robe and the crowd popping for the lovely brunette in that baby blue number she's wearing. And, that's 'You Should See Me In A Crown' hammering through the arena, and here comes the singer of THAT tune, 'Buxom' Billie Eilish!"

Tess: "Some folks have called Eilish the best Front Street prospect since Chloe Bennet..."

Cassie: "And, those folks may not be wrong. Billie's gotten better every time out and is looking for a breakout year in 2022."

O'Dell: "Eilish into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that emerald number we've seen before, and the crowd clearly likes it..."

McCarthy: "Philly. LOW standards..."

O'Dell: "Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Billie. Mac?"

McCarthy: "NO FCBA wins! Eilish!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous again. Let's see if the ladies are right. Ladies quickly forward to meet in the middle of the ring and just LET THE HANDS GO! Billie always likes to get physical and Nessa willing to play this game and SHE ROCKS EILISH WITH A RIGHT HAND! WHAT A SHOT BY BARRETT!"

McCarthy: "She's got Eilish in trouble!"

O'Dell: "And, Nessa taking full advantage, driving Billie back into the ropes with barrage after barrage of punches. Barrett banging away as Billie keeps up the high guard on the ropes. Younger woman going body a little now, but then right back to the head, clearly looking to finish this thing..."

Tess: "And, she may be about to do it. Ref's looking very, very closely..."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed, but Billie doing enough to keep him at bay for the moment, jabbing back in spots. Barrett another solid flurry as she keeps the pressure on. Ten seconds to go in the first. Eilish going to ride this thing out, but a huge shutout round for Nessa Barrett!"

Cassie: "And, Nessa grabs the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway and Barrett pressing forward. Billie actually giving ground here, which is not something we see a lot from Eilish. She's usually the one coming forward, but, right now, those sturdy legs are plenty iffy and Nessa's taking the fight to her fellow singer..."

Cassie: "And, give Nessa credit. She's not getting sloppy."

O'Dell: "Definitely is not. She's staying sound, setting up her punches, playing defense. As for Billie, she's able to counter here and there, but that's about it. Eilish, a former dancer, has great feet and can move extremely well, but, not at the moment, as the legs are still unsteady."

McCarthy: "This kid wants to finish here..."

O'Dell: "She's definitely giving it her best, but Billie not cooperating. Eilish able to stay off the ropes in this stanza, avoid any other punches like the one Nessa landed in the first. But, it's been another very good round for Ms. Barrett. There's the bell. Nessa takes the points wide."

Tess: "And leads 20-18."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Barrett continuing the pressure as we start the third and Billie still giving ground. Legs seem to be coming around, but Eilish either can't or doesn't want to try to hold canvas. She's moving better this round, but Nessa still able to square and get off in combination with hard shot."

Tess: "This is impressive stuff from Barrett. Eilish hasn't just been undefeated since she came to Front Street, she's been pretty dominant..."

O'Dell: "Has, indeed, but, tonight, the dominating is being done by Nessa. Barrett's fighting lead as she has since the opening seconds of the first round. Good combination there for Nessa. Billie answers with one of her own, and those were the best punches of the fight for the older singer..."

Cassie: "Not often Billie's the OLDER girl in the fight..."

O'Dell: "And, it's not often she's looking like losing three straight rounds, but that's what's about to happen here. We're down to fifteen seconds in the third and Barrett still in command, though Eilish has been more competitive this stanza. Quick, solid flurry from Nessa and there's the bell. Barrett wide again."

McCarthy: "And she's got a huge 30-27 lead."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "It's not broken, so Nessa is not going to fix it. She's right back at Billie and Eilish now holding canvas and firing back and HERE WE GO! Hammer and Tongs as the two young singers have at one another. GOOD right hand from Barrett and Billie lands one of her own and the crowd getting into this in a BIG way..."

Tess: "They are hot tossing right now!"

O'Dell: "No doubt about it and nobody's taking a step back, either. Billie a NICE combination, her best punches of the fight, but Barrett fires right back with one of her own. Nessa has GOT to be turning heads with this performance, and she backs Billie up a step with a hard right hand..."

McCarthy: "Kid is FEARLESS in there, just like J-Mac!"

O'Dell: "Into the final thirty seconds. Eilish another good combination, finally makes Nessa take a backward step, but Barrett right back in her grill as the ladies trade even MORE heavy shot. GOOD right from Eilish there and there's the bell. Close in the fourth, but Billie's on the board..."

Cassie: "And, she cuts the lead to 39-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Into the fifth and the ladies right back at it. Nobody going to back down from anybody as they let the hands go and EILISH ROCKS BARRETT WITH A RIGHT HOOK! Nessa GOBSMACKED, stumbling back into the ropes and Billie going all in now to put an end to this!"

McCarthy: "Kid just needs to ride it out. She'll be fine..."

O'Dell: "That's clearly the plan right now. Eilish banging away, now going downstairs and tenderizing the midsection and ribs. She's trying to bring that guard down. Nessa clinching, but Billie shoves off, stacks her up and goes right back to work. GOOD right by Eilish gets the ref's attention..."

Cassie: "Nessa doing just enough here..."

O'Dell: "Yes, she is, for the moment at least, firing back in spots, but mostly taking. Billie back to the body, DIGGING into the ribs with short hooks, then a solid right hook to the head. Nessa ties up again, but Eilish shoves off, lands a pair of solid shots, but there's the bell. Billie, wide. But Nessa survives."

Tess: "And Eilish cuts the lead to 48-47."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Billie on a mission now, pouring forward and backing up Barrett with accurate, heavy leather. Barrett in retreat, firing back here and there, working to stay off the ropes and managing to do it, at least early. Eilish lining the younger singer up, landing a GOOD right hand that shook Nessa..."

Cassie: "I'm going to tell you now that Barrett has a chin, because three quarters of the division would be out of there by now..."

O'Dell: "Billie hooking the ribs. Nessa tying up. Eilish levering, going back to the body, then backing up Barrett with another hard, accurate combination. Nessa fires back with a nice flurry and BILLIE DROPS HER TO HER BACK WITH A STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND! What a SHOT from Eilish!"

Tess: "And, that might do it..."

O'Dell: "Billie to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Nessa flat on her back, eyes open, staring up at the ref. Six. Seven. This isn't going to happen. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's over! Barrett still on her back as the count passes her by and it's OVER! And your winner by KO6 is 'Buxom' Billie Eilish!"

McCarthy: "More Dancing Hooker LUCK!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Billie Eilish. And, Billie, that was a heck of a fight..."

Billie (nodding): "This girl, she can hit. She's aggressive. She can take a punch. She's got a future in the FCBA if she wants it. A bright one. But. Not quite as bright as mine."

Tess: "Definitely a good start to your 2022..."

Billie (smiling): "Yeah. This can be a BIG year for me, as long as I keep working and keep getting results. And, that's EXACTLY what I'm going to do."
