Emma:32 YO, 5’2n (1.57 m), 35-17-0, 32 KO since 2014, Dollhouse

Before: “I have concluded that this would be the right time to slap down that curly haired blonde,” Emma Roberts said with a snide look at Brec Bassinger. “She clearly has started think she is hot stuff or something equally foolish. I am here to pound a reality check into her foggy brain.”

Brec just smirks: “I guess I got you worried, Em? Starting to feel the years catching up with you? You want to take it out on me? Well, bring it on, sister, the reality check will be pounded into your brain!”

Emma scowls: “You are going to regret that big mouth.”

Brec shrugs: “I’ll take my chances.”

“Which won’t be much when I get through with you,” hissed Emma.

“Well, hust don’t say I didn’t warn you: the odds are with me--not you!”

Emma glared at Brec and then stomped off the stage. Brec smiled and turned to the stunned gathering of reports: “Sorry guys, that’s all, but see you at ringside.”

On Fight Night, the two fighters meet in the ring. Brec is in a simple black bikini with gold BB monogram stitched on the hip. She wears white gloves and boots with black laces. Her hair is in perky ponytail. Emma in white with black leopard print one piece swimsuit. Black gloves and boots with white laces, Auburn hair pulled back in a battle braid. Emma giving Brec steely glare during ring instructions while Brec just grins back at her with insolence. Ring instructions are done. Hard “tap” from Emma knocks Brec back on her heels as Emma marches to her corners. Brec now the one scowling as she goes to her corner. Tense wait then DING! DING! It’s on!

R1: Emma jabbing Brec to the face early and often as the opening round gets under way. Brec trying to counter but those rapid-fire jabs keep her off balance. Then Emma starts circling and putting stronger punches into Brec’s ribs and then to the jaw. Brec getting worked over, but she mostly keeps control and starts countering to Emma’s midsection. Emma makes a rush late that allows her to ring up Brec to the chin and jaw. Brec falling back but uses her jab to disrupt Emma’s pursuit. Round ends and Emma Roberts gets a wide win on points.

R2: Brec makes sure she’s the faster coming out of her corner this round. This allows her to catch Emma coming out and greeting her with a flurry of shots to the chin, jaw mixed with straight ones into Emma’s face. Emma in danger of being trapped in her own corner as Brec presses forward with hooks to Emma’s stomach and rib cage. Emma using jabs into Brec’s face to slow the blonde an then Emma makes a slick move and slips out of the corner for the relative safety of mid ring. Brec pursues and there is a brisk flurry of head shots from both fighters, but Brec clips Emma hard to the chin. Emma’s legs shake from the impacts and she is forced to fall back with her gloves up defensively at her head. Brec goes to work on Emma’s body working her torso over from breast to belly and back again. Emma all hunches up and achy at the bell. Round goes to Brec Bassinger wide.

R3: Brec and Emma both out of their corners quickly and set up in the center of the ring. Sustained body punching exchange as the two move in and out on one another. Solid punching from both through the first half of the round keeps the action even, but then Emma goes for Brec’s chin only to have Brec ram at uppercut into Emma’s chin. Emma falls back covering her head and Brec goes to the body with a barrage of hooks. Emma throws back countering hooks of her own, but these don’t seem to slow Brec’s attack. Rpund ends. Judges find it was a close round, but give the edge to Brec Bassinger.

R4: Round opens with Emma scoring with long distance blows to Brec’s head as Brec tries to get close. Emma follows up with more strong shots going to Brec’s jaw and chin. Brec now in retreating on rubbery legs as Emma now pounds Brec’s body as she tries to work her towards the ropes. Brec’s resistance stiffens as she nears the strands and peppers Emma with jabs to the face and breasts. Emma moving to one side and stuffing hard rights and lefts into Brec’s right flank ribs. Brec cringing away as these blows start to make her ribs burn with pain. Emma can’t seem to get Brec pinned against ropes but by the bell she has done well enough to win this round wide.

R5: Brec repaired by the PLP corner crew comes charging out of her corner with a determined look in her eyes. Emma coolly awaits the blonde’s arrival. Brec so eager to get at Emma that she lunges forward—but right into a crushing head swiveling right to the jaw. Then Emma’s left swivels Brec’s head the opposite way. Brec still lunging forward crashes into Emma who pushes her back and adds a right uppercut to Brec’s chin. DOWN GOES BREC BASSINGER! Brec lands on her butt and sits there with a what-just-happened? Look on her face. Emma trots to the neutral corner as the referee moves in. Brec’s senses return and she struggles to her feet to break the count at “EIGHT!” Emma waves back in. Brec trying to fight back as Emma comes in hammering at her to the head. Brec falling back, but can’t shake Emma’s pursuit. Brec jabbing, but they aren’t doing much toe stop Emma’s steady punching. Brec finally buries her face in her gloves and lets Emma swab her flanks to the bell. Knockdown assures Emma Roberts she has won this round wide. Brec looking downcast as she heads for her corner while Emma’s all triumphsnt smiles. (“I got the little bytch now!” She assures her corner)

R6: More work for the PLP corner crew, but she also gets advice from PLP trainer Nia Peeples. Brec seen nodding as Nia talks. Bell rings and crowd blinks in surprise as Brec slingshots of her corner. Emma Roberts is surprised too as Brec’s punches crash into her chin and jaw. Emma thrown back into her own corner as Brec frenziedly attakcs Emma to the head. Emma’s head bobbing up and down from uppercuts to chin and side to side from rights and lefts to jaw. THEN EMMA’S LEGS GIVE OUT! Emma, her back to the turnbuckle, slides down into a sitting position looking like a discarded doll! Brec wastes no time getting to neutral corner. Referee stands over Emma ad starts counting. Emma opens her eyes and looks around, but that’s it. Sge slumps back against the ropes and topples to oe side just as referee reaches

“NINE!...TEN!...YOU’RE OUT!”

THE WINNER: BREC BASSINGER DEFEATS EMMA ROBERTS KO6!

After: “Nia told me, ‘She’s not expecting a blitz attack from you—do it!’ So I did,” Brec Bassinger explains to press, “and, wow, it really worked didn’t it?”

Emma whisked away from the ring by the Dollhouse team, though they soon announce Emma is “disappointed, but all right.,”

Brec sniffs: “They were afraid I’d walk her. I might have, but I will settle for making her look bad with that knockout. She underestimated me and paid the price!”

“I don’t dwell on my old fights, I look ahead to the next one,” is all Emma will say later, though the loss clearly rankles the proud boxing beauty.

Stunning conclusion to this bout. Brec Bassinger looked like she was being worn down by Emma Roberts, but then that R6 blitz took the Dollhouse fighter out. Blitz tactic really worked for Brec as Emma was plainly not expecting it. Of course, that trick may not work future bouts with Emma, but one suspects Brec and the PLP are happy it worked this time. Brec books a win while Emma records a disappointing loss. Fans happy with an exciting action-packed fight.
