CANADIAN INVASION @ THE ASYLUM II: ELECTRIC BOOGALO PPV 2022

BEFORE:

"Let's face it," says a hard-eyed Mackenzie, "McMann got LUCKY the last time I was here. I let her off the hook. Well. That's NOT going to happen again."

"Davis is dangerous," Kara admits. "She's got welter power. But. As she's about to find out, so do I."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that is 'Blister in the Sun' by the Violent Femmes, from the soundtrack of 'Halt and Catch Fire', and here comes the star of that series, Mackenzie Davis!"

McCarthy: "YAWN! Yet another Typical Dancing Hooker Opponent with NO FCBA wins!"

O'Dell: "Davis wasting no time getting into the ring. She's helped off with the robe and the crowd popping for Mackenzie in that black and white striped number. And, that's 'Flawless' by The Ones, and here comes Kara 'The Body' Del Toro!"

Cassie: "Kara one of Front Street's 'juniors', in her third year in the stable and looking to take a big step forward..."

Tess: "So, she definitely wants to take care of business tonight."

O'Dell: "Del Toro into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve and the crowd giving it up for the lovely Kara in that neon green number she likes..."

McCarthy: "THIS city wouldn't know a great body if it SAW one. Because, if it did, I'D get up there..."

Cassie: "If Front Street ever decides to do a show called 'Senior Citizens Bikini Contest on Front Street TV, we'll let you know..."

McCarthy: "SEN...I WILL...YOU LITTLE..."

O'Dell: "Now, calm DOWN, Mac! The ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Kara. Mac?"

McCarthy: "NO FCBA wins! Del Toro!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous in the second. And Mackenzie wasting no time going after Kara. Davis has the reach here, and she's using it, getting that long left on target, then stepping in behind it and backing Del Toro up with hard right hands. Canadian really bringing her power to bear early..."

McCarthy: "Smart girl. You've got the pop, use it. Take the Dancing Hooker out of there!"

O'Dell: "And, that's what the Canadian's doing. She's thrown the American onto the defensive and she's keeping her there with constant, heavy leather. Davis showing plenty of hand speed and accuracy. She's on target again and again and really causing problems for Kara."

Tess: "Del Toro needs to move more. She's too static."

O'Dell: "No question about it, and Mackenzie taking full advantage of that. Del Toro's not hurt, but she's taking a TON of punishment right now. There's a GOOD combination from Davis. She's backed Kara into the ropes and she lets her have it right to the bell. Davis. Wide in the first."

Cassie: "And, Mackenzie takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Davis again forward behind the jab, but now Kara hanging in there and banging back and HERE WE GO! Firefight in the middle of the ring as both blondes bring the heavy guns to bear. Nobody backing up a step, but EVERYBODY landing hard shot at the moment..."

Cassie: "Now, THAT'S the Kara Del Toro I know..."

O'Dell: "There is a TON of heavy leather being traded right now. Both fighters determined to impose will here, and nobody willing to be imposed UPON. So, the big bangs continue. GOOD right by Kara and a BOOMING rejoinder from Mackenzie. They are throwing BOMBS, Mac!"

McCarthy: "Can't continue for long. Too much punishment being dished out..."

O'Dell: "Down under twenty seconds in the second. Davis a good combination, snaps back Kara's head. Del Toro responds with a HARD right of her own. Crowd really into this as the final seconds tick off the clock. There's the bell! What a round! Close. But Davis takes it again."

Tess: "And pulls into the 20-18 lead."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "And, we are right back after it! Ladies loading up the big guns and letting the shells fly. GOOD right Mackenzie and a BETTER one from Kara! About half the lightweight division would be on the canvas right now, but these two sturdy blondes are taking the licking and continuing with the ticking..."

Tess: "Just a TON of hard shot being landed..."

O'Dell: "Davis BACKS UP Del Toro with a big right and KARA STAGGERS MACKENZIE! Davis wobbled by a booming right hand counter and now Kara is ALL IN! American letting the hands go in a big way, driving the Canadian into the ropes and having at her..."

Cassie: "Working some body..."

O'Dell: "Davis has it on sale, so that's EXACTLY what Kara's doing, banging ribs and midsection, going upstairs, then dropping right back down to tenderize some meat. Ten seconds to go in the round. Davis will have no problem surviving it, but at the bell, no doubt it's Kara and wide."

McCarthy: "But, Mackenzie still leads 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Into the fourth, and now Del Toro's the one coming forward behind that left jab. Davis a bit unsteady on those long legs, and Kara taking full advantage, has her in retreat and is keeping her there. Canadian jabbing back in spots, trying to slow this down, but Del Toro's in command..."

Tess: "Kara looking to finish this thing..."

O'Dell: "Definitely is. She's thumping away with both hands, sitting down on everything, looking for the finisher and SHE ROCKS DAVIS WITH A LEFT HOOK AND THEN DROPS HER WITH A STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND! Oh, what a SHOT from Del Toro right there and it splashes Davis to her back..."

McCarthy: "Palicki would have taken that every night and twice on Sunday!"

O'Dell: "Kara to a neutral corner. Davis in the Maltese cross position, head just inside the ropes. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. No movement from Mackenzie. Six. Seven. Not gonna happen. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is Kara 'The Body' Del Toro!"

Cassie: "Impressive work from 'The Body' tonight!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kara Del Toro, and, Kara, that was a FIGHT..."

Kara (nodding): "Yeah. She can fight welter and has welter power. She came right after me, and it took me a minute to get my feet set. But, if you want to bang with me, we'll bang. And, you won't like it."

Tess: "We've talked about you looking to have a big year. It's been a good start..."

Kara: "It has. But, we've got three-quarters of the year to go, plenty of time to get a LOT more done."
