Before: “I like fighting the PLP,” explains Italian singer Elodie Di Patrizi, “I’ve only been here a year but I’ve been their Ashley Benson twice. I lost to Sasha Pieterse (I’ll get her yet!).Now I thought I would move on to Shay Mitchell. She’s pretty good, but not as good as I am. I am looking forward to adding a win against her to my record.

“Sasha told me to tell you she’s busy with Ice Princess Tournament, but any time after that she’s open for a rematch,” Shay Mitchell reports. “As for me, I think you are going to find that I am a whole lot more than ‘pretty good’, but I won’t argue with you about it now. I will make my point in the ring and I am looking forward to doing it.”

Both fighters amiable, but confident and this continues as they enter the ring on Fight Night. Elodie removes her robe to reveal a white bikini trimmed in black. She wears white gloves and boots with black laces. Her short hair is wetted down. Shay in bright yellow bikini with black boots and gloves (yellow laces). Cornrowed hair with a braid.

Ring instruction proceed briskly followed by an equally brisk glove tap. Fighter to their corners. The bell rings. DING! DING! The fight is on…

R1: Elodie bobbing and weaving as she approaches Shay in the center of the ring. Showing a nice ability to feint as she draws Shay off balance and smacks home a sharp right/left combo to the Mitchell jaw. Shay pulling back, trying to circle, but Elodie moving with her and keeps pumping in the leather. Blows catching Shay hard to the head and body with just enough irregularity to keep Shay confused. Just steady punching for Elodie keeping Shay from doing much more than stab out weak counter jabs. Round ends with a comfortably wide win for the IBB fighter.

R2: Shay making sure she gets in the first punch this round. She’s out of her corner at speed and getting her mitts into Elodie’s face. Elodie now the one in retreat as Shay advances, with the majority of her punches going to Elodie’s head. Elodie hit solidly by these early head shots, finally gets her mitts up in a tight high guard. Shay shifts gears to start working over Elodie with deep, digging hooks into Elodie’s belly just above the waistband of her yellow bikini bottoms. Elodie being tipped forward at the waist and now gets her head banged from side to side. Elodie counterpunching Shay to the body, but these not effective in getting Shay to back off. The bell finds Shay Mitchell winning this round wide.

R3: Elodie responds to Shay’s R2 rush with a R3 rush of her own. Shay has barely left her stool before Elodie is upon her driving body punches into Shay’s quivering torso. Shay finds herself being backed into her own corner and fights back hard with bell ringer shots to the chin and overhand lefts and rights to bust up Elodie’s face. Elodie retreating a few steps but then plunging back at Shay. Rapid-fire punching action in very close and Elodie able to get enough into her leather to force Shay to slowly give ground. Intense punching action rages to bell. Judges give it to Elodie Di Patrizi close.

R4: Elodie again tries to rush Shay, but Shay out of her corner faster and immediately they are back at it toe to toe. Elodie showing particular interest this round to bringing her rights and lefts into Shay’s rib cage and her bust line. Shay responding in kind, though she’s still showing the most attention to Elodie’s belly. Steady, grinding body action until the final minute is reached. Then Shay suddenly drives a popping right uppercut into Elodie caught flush by the blow. She reels back, her mitts dropping as Shay pours on the left/right punches to either side of Elodie’s jaw. Elodie’s head bring whipped from side to side as her knees give way. Shay fires in a right uppercut to the chin AND DOWN GOES ELODIE! Elodie lands on her back with her arms out flung, eyes blinking up at the overhead lights. Shay departs for the neutral corner as the referee moves in. Elodie trying to rise but ends up in a sitting position as the referee is calling out:

“EIGHT!...NINE!....TEN!,,,YOU’RE OUT!”

THE WINNER SHAY MITCHELL DEFEATS ELODIE DI PATRIZI KO4!

After: Shay being congratulated by LP teammates Ashley Benson and Troian Bellisario. Shay walks the ring waving to her fans, She stops by the IBB corner to check on Elodie and tells her PLP will welcome any future challenges from Elodie or the IBB.

“We like you ladies,” she says.

“I like you a lot better when I win,” Elodie retorts drawing a chuckle from Shay.

“Me, too,” she agrees.

Elodie Di Patrizi showed some good moves in this fight, but they weren’t enough to beat Shay Solid win from Shay Mitchell who shows she is still a force in the PLP’s batnam.lightweight division.
