THE FIGHT:
Sasha Pieterse again the underdog against HISC’s Priyanka Chopra, but Sasha not at all discouraged coming in. Priyanka claims not to be underestimating the PLP fighter, but once the fight starts she is frequently in trouble in the early rounds. Sasha attacking early and often though the first 3 rounds and, though paying a price from Priyanka’s counters, she is lumping the Bollywood beauty up. This is climaxed in the 4th Round when Sasha able to get to Priyanka’s chin and sending her dropping to the canvas on her butt. However Priyanka beats the count and then quickly starts focusing on punishing the PLP blonde. Sasha knocked to her knees in R6 and then worked over hard while trapped on the ropes in R7. Sasha launches a desperate counterattack in R8, but is stopped cold by Priyanka’s counters to her head and face, Sasha is still up, but wobbling when Priyanka drops down and comes shooting upward with a right uppercut that lifts Sasha off her feet before landing HARD on her back. Referee doesn’t even bother to count as he calls for the bell.
