BEFORE: Rhiannon Fish was looking to derail the Perkins tag-team hype coming off a double success against Japanese opposition last fall but a schedule conflict forced her to accept an undercard beach boxing clash against Dutch model Sylvie Meis who stayed behind in Australia after a five round punchout at the hands of Mimi Perkins earlier this month. The consolation prize also includes a rampant crowd support here on the Bondi Beach, something that was anything but a given if Rhiannon faced any of the Perkins stunners. Even Green & Gold's Sarah Cumming hates to admit it but Rhiannon has become a side story at the age of 31 yet there's always time to roll back the tape to her 'Home & Away' heyday. And blowing the doors off Meis might just be the slam dunk result she requires!

Rhiannon Fish wears a white, turquoise & red floral bandeau bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose waves. Sylvie Meis wears a green bikini set & silver gloves. Long blonde hair loose & straight. Both women are barefoot. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Sylvie makes the slugging jump to catch the local favorite off guard and she powers ahead with a steady jabbing assault before blowing a couple of nasty hooks into the brunette's face. Rhiannon tries to react fast but gets overrun by the blonde's speed rush and eats more leather over the top until she gets backed onto the ropes. Ugh! Meis runs up the jabbing assault and gets vocal as she piles on more heat up the middle making the Aussie actress look very hittable in the process. The Bondi crowd expects Fish to mount a late comeback here but nothing happens until the bell except for the Dutch tourist pounding away in fury and bursting the brunette into loud spasms right at the final moment. Huh! Some long stares in the Lioness corner however...

Round 2:
...Rhiannon quickly gathers her thoughts and slips by the jabbing rush early in the second as Meis still wants to ride the hot hand and tries to smack the younger woman with a vintage piledriver. She fails in her pounce though and runs out of gas come the second minute when Rhiannon fires back over the top to finally dig some leather into the model's face. Sylvie does her best to stay in the slugging zone and triggers a feisty back & forth dispute that ends with Fish blasting her across the lips in a clear sign of superior delivery. Meis is brave enough to force this tactics and she pays another unneccessary price when the Aussie actress cuts her up below the left eye and plugs in the exposed navel deep into the final minute. Sylvie wobbles to her heels and eats another left/right combo at the bell which leads into a lenghty staredown between the two women but the crowd is spared any bad temper moments for the time being.

Round 3:
Sylvie believes she can totally knock the brunette's head off and squares up to her in another slugging effort only for Rhiannon to blast her in the nose and glue her mitts into the blonde's face thereafter. Ugh! Meis tries to hang on in the exchange despite mounting evidence she can suffer a nasty facial wound before too long yet she works the head-hunting pursuit to trigger even a louder reaction from the Bondi patrons. Rhiannon gets nailed on the left brow ridge and briefly loses her flow but she gathers it up when she whacks the Dutch woman across the boobs and keeps drilling her to the body to offer a superior diversity of the attacks. Sylvie eventually runs out of steam in the final minute and wobbles forward to meet another uppercut blast that leaves her slumped along the ropes at the bell.

Round 4:
Rhiannon comes in hot to dominate another slugging blast and she adds a second cut under the left eye which wobbles the older woman into genuine spasms. Meis finally thinks better off it and tries to fall back into mid-range but she only kicks up a pile of dust and Fish does break through to blast her between the ailing guard. She backs the Dutch cougar onto the turnbuckle and turns up the slugging wick piling more leather until Sylvie bellows out into painful shrieks and her mitts collapse by the wayside. Rhiannon has a free series at the wilting blonde and she SMOKES her with a right double on the nose that shuts down the Dutch resistance. Sylvie slides down on her backside with her eyes closed and rolls to the sand half-way through the count signalling she's all done here much to the crowd's delight! KO4 Rhiannon Fish!!!

AFTER: The former 'Home & Away' starlet is still upset she has to play second fiddle behind Mimi 'frickin' Perkins but she hopes this emphatic punchout of Sylvie Meis earns her KO of the Month award for lack of better publicity. And she vows to carry on stalking the local market to indicate it's too early to dismiss her as 'fancy gatekeeper': "I'm soo better than these IG models. I came here to make some noise and all I hear is Leah & Mimi this and that... and then you have these Herbert twins. The more the merrier, huh? Guess not. Man oh man, where does Kylie Minogue find those women? They don't have any real talent but PR machine does all the work."
