Mimi Perkins vs Samia Ghadie

BEFORE: Local favorite Mimi Perkins took care of Sylvie Meis few days ago and she returns to the Bondi Beach to take on BBU legend Samia Ghadie who comes off a quiet 2022 season for her standards but vows to expose the Australian model as complete fraud: "Just because this girl has few thousand followers on social media it doesn't mean she's worth all the hype! I've knocked out this sort of phoney bimbos before! And I made thiis journey to do it again! Who's gonna stop me?"

"I will!", Mimi interrupts Samia's press conference which leads into slaps being thrown and hair being pulled before the security guards separate the two hellcats. Action switches over to the Bondi landscape few hours later where Mimi steals the headlines entering the makeshift ring in all white bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Samia Ghadie holds her own in all red bikini set & white gloves. Long light brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. Both women are barefoot. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Mimi goes on a jabbing rampage to make sure the British tourist gets put into her place right away but Samia fires back up the middle and lands a heavy right hand on the jugs causing the local favorite to wobble onto her heels. Ugh! Samia carries more leather into the exposed cleavage and runs up the score blasting the stunned model from both flanks until she backs her onto the ropes and gashes her with more body shots amid some loud jeers from the Bondi crowd. Mimi barks in her efforts to stop Ghadie's charge but she remains trapped on the ropes for remainder of the round and allows the veteran to punish her tummy leaving several visible marks in the process. Uh-oh! That's not what the Australian crowd wanted to see and Samia has the audacity to tease them with some explicit gestures before walking back to her corner.

Round 2:
Samia tries to pick up the heat with another jabbing rally but Mimi covers hers off and lands a vicious one-two on the chin before blasting the tourist on the nose. Ugh! Samia squeals in visible pain but stays in the slugging lane and aims upstairs to find the desired payback only for Perkins to catch her from the inside and flush her with another uppercut series thereafter. Ugh! Ghadie kicks up the loose surface in hectic retreat but she avoids the looming trap in the corner at the last moment and forces Mimi to slice thin air for a lenghty moment. The Aussie model eventually connects with the Brit's face but fails to land a proper power punch and gets clinched into safety as Samia limits the damage.

Round 3:
The crowd gets behind the local favorite and Mimi clubs a nasty series up the middle but misses with the intended put away and wobbles into a gut-checking response from the Mancunian veteran. Samia gets vocal as she plugs the younger brunette in the midsection and shoves her onto the ropes with a not-so-fair challenge moments later. She ignores the referee's verbal waring and tears a left/right combo into Mimi's face causing a visible gash upon impact that makes coach Lauryn Eagle extremely annoyed on the spot. Mimi remains too shocked to fire back at the charging Brit before the bell and suddenly she eats more head shots up the middle and slumps into loud spasms at the bell. Uh-oh! Samia threatens to deliver a mighty upset here which silences majority of the Bondi Beach patrons ahead of the fourth.

Round 4:
Mimi is furious she's having to work for this performance and suddenly she has to rush her attacks as Samia keeps coming at her hoping to inflict more damage. The overhand swing almost catches the younger brunette cold again but she fends off the Brit's charge before busting her in the chest and tackling the exposed midriff down the stretch. Samia digs her heels in the sand and she's going nowhere... until a left hook slams her on the ear and wobbles forward into loud spasms. She almost catches a clinching break but Perkins digs her elbow into her rack and shoves her back before looping a left cross on the nose. Ugh! Ghadie stumbles back to the turnbuckle and gets duly clobbered into a yelping heap but Mimi runs out of time to break her down in terminal fashion.

Round 5:
Samia is slow to get up after that difficult finish of the previous round and she leaks more punches up the middle as Mimi kicks into a higher gear and pummels the ailing veteran from both flanks. She cuts her up below the left eye before booming another hook on the ear that folds the tourist into spasms on the spot. Another left/right combo catches Ghadie flush on the jaw and SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE while the Bondi patrons errupt in joy. Samia wipes some blood off her busted lips and prefers to stay down on the sand during the count and she's been truly mauled in speedy fashion by the younger prospect in the end. KO5 Mimi Perkins!!!

AFTER: It's still too early to call whether Mimi can become a true elite contender, she's got some rough patches to deal with and remains less reliable than her older sister Leah but the Bondi patrons are just happy to see that big smile and the NSW native is happy to walk Samia around the ring before tripping her face down on the sand again. A surfboard choke adds to the tourist's troubles but at least she avoided a meeting with the local lads in the hotel room this time. That's what Sarah Cumming claims anyway but one should never trust Samia to stay out of the X-rated action for too long. Meanwhile Mimi's stable is ready to announce her upcoming schedule next week but apparently there is a small delay over the exact PPV distribution. To be continued...
