BEFORE: Former ACB lightweight champion Holly Valance is focused on coaching The Metermaids these days but she's always ready to throw it down in the ring again when the right challenge comes her way. Italian contender Federica Nargi is very much a high-profile scalp that would look great on anyone's resume so Holly made the trip to Dubai and vows to pound the living daylights out of the dark-haired TV showgirl. Federica admits she has to get moving this season since Valentina Fradegrada seemingly enjoys all the attention among domestic fans which just doesn't sit well with anybody outside of the IBB organization. BBU TV's Kate Abdo realizes the lightweight division is stacked with Italian talent but women like Nargi simply have to win more big fights to gain a wider recognition among international audience.

Holly Valance wears a white bikini set & black gloves. Long light brown hair ried in a custom ponytail. Federica Nargi wears a silver one-piece swimsuit & blue gloves. Long black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Both women are barefoot. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Federica kicks the sand around before we get started and it's a furious start from the Italian showgirl who gives Holly no time to gather her thoughts and just rips into her face landing some hard licks straight away. The Aussie model almost goes down upon the initial impact but she recovers to stand her ground in the center of the ring and avoids getting thumped back to the ropes. She rifles a steady overhand response come the final minute and clips the brunette's chin; not enough to steal the round with a late rally but Federica barks in anger when she realizes Valance just won't crumble like a cheap tent here which triggers a slugging exchange in the closing seconds that meets a cheerful rection from the Dubai audience. Both women bump each other in the chest at the bell and have to be separated by the referee in the end.

Round 2:
More slugging pounce from Federica who keeps looking for that ultimate series to knock Holly down on the sand but she's forced to muscle her way around the area as the Australian woman digs deep to work the counter-punching stance and knocks her share of leather into the Italian's face. The action rides the back & forth script until Holly lands the superior one-two drive and gives Nargi visible swelling around the lips that makes the younger brunette lose her patience. Fede barges Holly in the chest but leaks a gut-checking series before Valance drops a shoulder into her breasts and wobbles her on the heels. A quick swing from there slices thin air while Holly steps into a booming right hand that catches Fede flush on the jaw and SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN ON THE SAND deep into the final minute. Uh-oh!!! Talk about rolling back some years as Holly salutes the Dubai crowd and pumps herself across the chest celebrating the knockdown. The Italian showgirl takes her time in recovery and gets up at eight while the clock expires moments later to prevent Holly from pouncing on the seemingly wounded opponent.

Round 3:
Holly seeks to blow the Italian woman up straight away here but Federica uses her mobility to avoid the initial pounce and she cuts her losses circling around the area while the Aussie veteran chases her for majority of the round until she loses her patience and issues a verbal tirade aimed at the reeling foe. Federica barks in response but comes forward to take the bait only for Valance to smack her on each temple and carry the superior jabbing delivery thereafter. Nargi's head snaps back repeatedly but Holly just can't put her away here as she loses the grip on the slugging chase and falls into a lenghty clinching stalemate come the final minute. Fede drives her onto the makeshift turnbuckle and drills the liver area with a strong harpoon push late on as well to indicate she's overcome the worst moment of this bout so far.

Rounds 4 & 5:
More Aussie chase during the next six minutes but Holly has lost her magic moment to put Federica away and it's almost like the Italian showgirl wants to drain all the energy and then some from her opponent as time goes by. She refuses to seek immediate redemption and plays the waiting game using the supreme footwork while Valance grows more impatient to say the very least. The judges might still favor her work rate but she doesn't really hurt the younger brunette and gets stuffed with several overhand efforts that further hijack her slugging push. Fede bumps her from each side and keeps the fight close which is more than enough to frustrate Valance who kicks the sand in frustration when she gets shoved away from another clinch while Nargi pummels her in the ribs late in the fifth as well. Some angry words in The Metermaids corner where Tara Moss admits she would have just knocked the Italian's head off by this stage already! Easier said than done...

Round 6:
Fede lets it rip and catches Holly flush on the jaw early in the sixth which sets the tone for remainder of the round where the TV showgirl mauls the Aussie face like she finally means business. Holly doesn't recover from the initial shock and only takes more hits as the younger woman elevates her approach into a furious pursuit to knock Valance's head right off. Uh-oh!!! The Aussie veteran drops back onto the ropes where she slumps into loud spasms which only fuels Nargi's frantic efforts. The earmuff cover is on but gets picked off on a repated basis so Holly soon nurses a bad gash across the nasal ridge but she refuses to go down underneath the onslaught. Federica runs out of juice and gets clinched herself but then manages to still drill the exposed midriff in the closing seconds and sends Holly down on her knees right at the bell. Ugh! That was a quick hip-check there rather than a punch but Holly still cuts a tired figure as she walks back to her corner few seconds later.

Round 7:
Both women go for the ultimate slugging drive and Federica gets there first as she NAILS the older brunette on the mouth and staggers her onto her heels in the center of the ring before blowing a left/right combo on each temple. Holly spins to the side with a whimper and drops her gloves low enough the TV showgirl has a free path to SMOKE her with another brutal double on the chin. And that series breaks the Aussie spirits as Holly goes all numb on the spot and SLIDES TO HER BACKSIDE in slo-mo fashion before rolling into her right side with eyes closed. She is done for the day!!! KO7 Federica Nargi in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: The victorious Italian kicks some sand over the fallen opponent and barks in anger when she realizes how badly swollen her lips are but then she goes all smiles when the Dubai patrons start to cheer her name. She waves back to all corners of the ring and even twerks some booty before sitting down on poor Holly who has been knocked out cold here. Even Tara Moss is too upset to protect her compatriot and tells Kate Abdo that Holly got her tactics all wrong after "jumping on the bytch from the first second" (...) "I told her to punch that skinny tramp all the time until she frickin' breaks apart. This fight was sooo over in four... and she let her get away and wasted all that energy to chase her around. What a damn waste!"
