Intro:
Bantamweight battle now between England's Kaya Scodelario and Canada's Emily Bett Rickards, both are looking to turn their inconsistent form into a winning one, both come off wins in their last fight, who will move closer to the top of the rankings?

Both took to social media to tell the world how they were feeling about this bout, Kaya told her fans "guess I am in rebuild mode still, I thought I had moved past the likes of you Emily, though I guess I owe you a beating for the last time I shared a ring with one of you Medallion girls, tell Caity (Lotz) I'll happily beat her arse if she shows up" she lost to Caity last year, clearly she hasn't forgotten about that one bit.

Emily meanwhile was a little more lighthearted in her message, posting "I see Kaya seems to have a grudge against us Medallion girls, not my fault she can't take a punch off someone who works out, sadly for her I have been training hard with my best friend for this bout" with a photo to show her fans.


Fight night, first through the curtain comes Kaya with her coach Taryn Terrell and cut woman Eva Carneiro, Kaya walks down the aisle with an ice cold expression, she is wearing a black sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, her hair is tied back into a ponytail as she steps through the ropes into the ring, shaking her arms and shoulders to loosen up as Taryn tells her to fight smart.

Emily steps through the curtain onto the stage, tapping her cheeks as she bounces on her toes, Caity steps out behind her with a big grin, clearly hoping to rattle Kaya, they walk down to the ring with their coach, Emily is wearing a white sports bra with red stripes down the sides, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves, hair tied into a ponytail too, she climbs into the ring, flexing her arms with a cheeky smile for her fans, getting serious when she turns to face her opponent.

Both fighters walk to the center of the ring, Kaya can't help herself telling Caity "watch what I do to her, you're next" with Caity laughing at her, Taryn reminding Kaya who her opponent actually is as Emily stands with her hands on her hips, a cheeky grin aimed at Kaya, there's no touch of gloves, even as Emily offers her gloves out, Kaya looks pissed off and a punch hasn't been thrown yet, once everything is ready the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Both fighters start off at midrange throwing in two punch combos right away, circling at the center of the ring with both women barking out in effort, Kaya is the first to load up for a big punch, missing as Emily moves back out the way, then the blonde beauty lands a double jab square into the face of Scodelario to knock her head back.

After that energetic start to the bout, Emily lands the first real meaningful shot as she catches Kaya with a counter right cross on her jaw, Kaya swinging more as maybe the presence of Caity is playing on her mind, Emily landing a follow up left cross forces Kaya to back off near the ropes, while they are exchanging shots, it is Rickards landing the cleaner shots as she moves her head more.

A straight knocks Kaya's head back as she is driven to the ropes, Emily stepping in closer to bully the former champion, drilling into her body as the crowd roars her on, Kaya needing to use her left forearm to create space, landing a left/right cross combo to show Emily she won't be pushed around too easily, the bell soon rings with Emily off to a great start in the fight, giving a high five to Caity when she returns to her corner, Kaya told by Taryn to focus purely on the opponent in front of her.

Round 2:
Boxing more as Kaya tries to not let Caity get to her, Emily though starts off strong as she lands a crisp straight to open the guard of Kaya up, a left hook then crashes across the cheek of the Raven haired English fighter, allowing Emily to get a hold of the center of the ring.

But as Emily tries to push Kaya further back, a double jab smacks the Arrow star into her face, Kaya then catches her with a short right cross, Emily forced to retreat back to the center of the ring, where both lock up heads touching, fists testing out the others torso, grunts and groans can be heard as both fight in a phonebooth style clash.

Less then a minute to go, Kaya again changes up the action, using a little nudge with her left hand, she lands an uppercut with her right to knock back Emily, who soon finds herself now in a neutral corner after taking three clean straight shots into her face, Emily swinging back as both go at it hard, Kaya starts to pin back Emily after a jab stabs her right into her chest, the round comes to a close with Kaya nearly catching Emily across her face with her ponytail as she swings around, showing no respect for her opponent.

Round 3:
Pounding in their jabs more as they step in, Kaya misses with a left cross as Emily crouches under it, hammering a short right into the body of Kaya, Emily then lands an overhand left to the side of her opponent's head to knock her to the side a step, Kaya trying to landing a glancing jab to the top of Emily's head, A RIGHT HOOK LANDS ON THE CHIN OF KAYA TO SEND HER STUMBLING TO HER BACKSIDE!

Emily jogs to the neutral corner as she nods to her corner, Caity smiling back at her, 1...2...3.. Kaya shaking her head, 4....5....6... Pushing up to her right knee, left foot on the canvas, 7...8.. Getting to her feet, raising her gloves up to show she wants more.

Back they come with Emily landing a crisp double jab into the top of Kaya's head, Kaya needing to give up ground again she does dip under a right cross to pound in two body shots, getting shoved back though as Rickards is showing off her muscles, bullying the slightly taller girl around.

When the bell rings it is looking a relief for Kaya, Taryn needing to work on a little swelling under her left eye and give her a pep talk, Emily on the other hand is looking sitting looking on her stool, tapping her toes looking ready for more after such a dominant round.

Round 4:
Out they come with Emily looking to press the pace early, Kaya relying on boxing more on the back foot, both slamming in crisp punches to the others gorgeous faces as they look to get control, Emily swings in a left cross that just misses, a straight smacks Emily on her chin to push her back a step.

Slowly Kaya is starting to turn the tables, counter punching the more open Rickards, a right cross opens up Emily for a double jab to the top of her head to snap it back, Emily lands a cuffing left to the cheek of Kaya as she tries to hold her back as now the English fighter is looking to drive forwards, nearly a clash of heads as both swing in a right cross that neither lands flush.

Final minute of the round sees Emily now nudge back Kaya, both landing meaty shots at the center as sweat starts to come off both women's brows, Kaya leans back out the way of an uppercut to land a counter jab square into the nose of Emily, who finds herself being pushed back onto the ropes by Scodelario's straight punches, the round comes to a close with Kaya showing her toughness and experience in these situations to come back at Emily, Caity massaging Emily's arms to keep her loose as they talk about what she needs to fix going into the next round.

Round 5:
Both women lace the other up the middle with their punches, almost taking turns landing punches as they try to control the action, Emily swings in a left cross that is parried away as a jab smacks into her nose again, causing a trickle of blood to run from it, a short right lands on her jaw to make Emily back off.

Maybe a little ring rust starting to show on Emily, she is getting pegged back more as Kaya is outworking her in the exchanges, a left hook lands around her temple, buckling the legs of Rickards! AN UPPERCUT THEN CATCHES EMILY ON HER CHIN TO SEND HER TO HER BACK WITH STILL HALF THE ROUND TO GO!

Kaya stares at the neutral corner with an ice cold look, 1...2...3... Emily groans as she places her right glove over her face, 4.....5.....6... Bending her right knee as she is still planted on her back, 7...8... It looks like that temple shot really took it out of her, 9...10 as that's all she wrote for this fight! Rickards is out for the count!

Winner Kaya Scodelario KO Round 5

After:
After a slow start Kaya gets the comeback victory, she marches back over to Emily, placing her right foot into her stomach as she grinds it in, telling Emily "you don't belong in the ring with me bytch" that sets off Emily's stablemate, Caity pushes Kaya off her friend, then both go head to head as words are exchanged, Caity laying down the challenge for a rematch, Kaya telling her "it is on" both pushing each other as both corner crews pull them apart.

Emily spits out her gumshield as she rolls to her right side holding her stomach, her cheeks are red as Caity kneels down to check on her, promising Emily she will break Kaya in two for her, once Emily is up on her stool with help from Caity, she tells her "I want to get the photo of your foot on her chest" making Caity grin as she nods to her friend.

Across the ring Taryn doesn't look too pleased that Kaya is accepting challenges without her or managements approval, Kaya sitting stewing even after winning, maybe she blames Caity for the inconsistent run she has been on for going on nearly nine months, Taryn wiping her down with barely a word to her.

As soon as Kaya is ready she heads to the middle of the ring, getting her left arm raised in victory, she makes sure to stare at the Medallion corner, making a point of who came out on top tonight, while Emily and Caity simply shake their heads in response, not impressed by the former champion one bit.

Out the ring goes the Medallion pair, Emily assuring Caity "I've got your back as you have mine, you'll knock that arrogant bytch out" making Caity smile, she corrects her friend in a jokingly way "you mean when I knock her out.. Again" both giggling as they are happy to forget about tonight and focus on the future.

In the ring Kaya tells Taryn "I need to sort this with that blonde bimbo, when I beat Caity then I can focus on getting the title back" Taryn simply nods, she still doesn't look too pleased by Kaya's attitude tonight but she understands that sometimes you need to fix a past mistake to move on, question is what does another loss do to Kaya's psyche? She has blamed her last coach Hilary Swank for her issues, now she is back with Taryn, if Caity beats her a second time who does she blame?
