DRESSING ROOM

Charlize is getting ready to enter the ring. She has on a plain black hooded robe.

She looks at Tess “I don’t like this entrance to music. It’s not me. I just want to enter unannounced like everyone else. Tess: “It was decided to do that because while you are the number on female action star who does her own stunts and you are becoming a super villain, you haven’t released a film in two years. You are the greatest of all time. The crowd needs to be reminded of that” Charlize “Since it’s already set up, I will do it, but I hope this is the last time. We are going to settle this next week.

BEFORE

Hayley McQueen is at the mic. As usual Charlize is nowhere to be seen.

Hayley “I’m told that Charlize never attends these before fight affairs. From what I know about her that doesn’t surprise me. She’s a pretty private person. Well you all have heard this before, but when word got around that Charlize was looking for BBU fighters in her age group, a bunch of us jumped at the chance. Hadn’t fought much recently, but I am younger, bigger and have a winning record so I thought why not, what do I have to lose. Of course I know what Charlize’s reputation is, but I have never talked to her or seen her fight. I knew Alex Curran had some tapes of three Theron fights, so I asked her for them and she sent them to me. They were the latest Jovovich, Krupa and Upton fights. Poor Charlize got beaten to a pulp and knocked out cold. She was terrible. Well, that’s what you get when you ask for film. You never get tapes of your opponent at her best, It’s alway at their worst. It’s what you Americans call a “snow job” I will tell you what impressed me in those fights. Upton. That right she hit Theron with was awesome. In fact, it was horrific. It almost took Charlize straight up off her feet. If I hadn’t know about what followed, I could have believed she killed Charlize. Upton is one fighter that I will never get into a fight with. Fortunately, tonight I am not fighting Upton. I’m fighting the victim, Theron. When the fight ends, I want to be standing over Charlize at my feet. I’m going to do my best.

THE FIGHT

Hayley Mc Queen enters the ring in a white robe with a crown displayed on the back. She is in a green bikini, black boots and gloves. As robe is taken off her shoulders.the arena is rocked by the opening of the Dropkick Murphy’s “Blood. They hear “You better watch out, You better beware… If you want blood we will give you some’ Theron climbs into the ring, giving a friendly nod to her opponent .Charlize is back into her red bikini, gone are the dreadlocks. Her blonde hair is shoulder length. They meet in the center of the ring for instructions touch gloves and return to their corner waiting for the opening bell.

Round 1. At the bell the two move to the center of the ring. Hayley has a slight reach advantage and uses it landing two right jabs to Theron’s face before the great blonde can launch her usual opening jabs. Charlize backs off eyeing her opponent. Charlize quickly moves in again landing a pair of hooks to Hayley’s midsections. McQueen tries move back, but Charlize stays with her with a couple more hooks to the body. McQueen tries a right cross. Theron manages to step back and the punch harmlessly miss her chin. Charlize capitalizes on the miss by landing her own right cross, then a left and another right. She has McQueen on the ropes. Hayley has her guard high protecting her face so Theron goes back to the body with left and right hooks. Hayley desperately lets go with an overhand right that send Charlize staggering back to the center of the ring. Queen moves in for another overhand punch but Theron wasn’t hurt and catches the bigger blonde with a right hook to the chin. Theron starts landing punch after punch into Hayley’s face and head as she punches her back to the ropes. McQueen hands are starting to drop. Charlize moves in to finish her opponent but the bell sounds ending the round. In McQueen corner she is quietly advised how to negotiate the next round while getting some smelling salts. In Theron’s corner, Upton tells her she had a good round. She has Hayley hurt and she should go ahead and finish her so they could go home early.

Round 2. Charlize is quickly out of her corner. They meet in th center of the ring and Charlize preps that deadly right hand, but before she releases it, McQueen slams a right/left combination into Therons bra. The punches stops Theron In her tracks. Theron’s eyes show hurt as Hayley lands another combination to Theron’s breasts. A Theron right cross sails over Hayley’s head as she sinks a right into Theron’s solar plexus. Charlize sags back into the ropes her hands up protecting her face. McQueen remembers the first round and starts pounding away at Theron’s midsection. Charlize, like McQueen in the first round, has her guard up leaving her body open. McQueen is taking advantage pumping punch after punch into Theron’s midsection. The great blondes legs are starting to buckle as the bell sounds. McQueen’s corner is estatic. In Theron’s corner, Upton is giving Charlizes a lecture on how to lose a bout and telling Charlize she is doing a good job of doing it.

Round 3, At the bell, both are out quickly, but the don’t engage. Instead they are circling looking for an opening. Chalize makes the first move, lunging forward and snapping off three quick jabs to McQueen’s face. Charlize backs off and looks for another opening, but McQueen has found hers and a right cross lands on Charlize’s head knocking her back. McQueen follows up only to suffer an overhand right to her forehead sending her back into the ropes. Charlize follows up only to be gutted by a Hayley right to the solar plexus. A follow up uppercut straightens Theron up, but somehow Charlize manages another overhands fight to Hayley’s face. The two are in the center of the ring pounding away at each other and Theron starts to get the best of it sending Hayley back into a corner. Charlize has Hayley is a desperate place. She doesn’t have punching room. As Charlize starts to unload the bell rings saving Hayley from a lot of hurt. McQueen’s corner is hard at work getting their fighter ready for the next round. In Theron’s corner, she is getting a whiff of ammonia as Upton tells Charlize, she should be able to finish this fight in the next round.

Round 4. Charlize is out to end it. She closes on Hayley and preps that big right hand. but Hayley buries and right-left into Charlize’s bra. Charlize is in shock. She forgets the right and drops her guard to protect her chest Hayley sprays Charlize with left and rights to the head, driving the Golden Goddess back to the ropes. Hayley closes watching Theron to throw that right and instead takes a left cross to her jaw sending her back a couple steps and Charlize is off the ropes. Left-right crosses drive Hayley to the center of the ring. The two are toe to toe slugging it out. Hayley’s legs buckle and Theron’s famous legs go wobbly. Charlize is getting the the better of it until 10 seconds from the bell, Hayley sends Theron reeling with a right cross. Both fighters. badly battered. stagger back to their corners. In Hayley’s corner she is told she won the round. In Theron corner she is told she has to step it up as Hayley won the round.

Round 5. Its two battered fighters that come out for the fifth round. They aren’t interested in boxing. There isn’t going to be any finesse, just slugging until there is only one standing. They meet and start pounding away at each other. Charlize lands a right cross and then a left that send McQueen back towards the ropes. Charlize has Hayley on the ropes. She preps that right hand, but Hayley beats her the punch. A left and right slam into Charlize’s bra. Charlize guard drops and Hayley lights her up with an a left uppercut to the jaw staggering her. Hayley presses the attack, but is stopped by an overhand left to the face. They are back in the center of the ring desperately pounding away at each other. The crowd is on their feet. Theron is getting the best of it until another Hayley left cross send Charlize reeling back to the rope. Hayley presses her advantage. Lefts and rights to the face, hooks to the tummy and midsection, straight punches to the chest. Charlize is starting to sag in the ropes. The referee is watching closely. Just as Hayley goes for the finish, the bell rings. In Hayley’s corner, they are excited. They tell Hayley she has the GOAT where she wants. Theron is close to being finished, but they warn her Theron is still a very dangerous fighter. “Don’t get careless”. In Theron’s corner, Upton is raging. While Charlize is getting a whiff of ammonia, her face being wiped with a cold towel and her back being massaged, Upton tell Charlize “That was a sorry ass performance. You’re fighting like a 100 year old invalid. If you go down for the count, We will drag you with your back on the floor all the back to the dressing room. You know what to do. Now get out there and don’t embarrass your corner. You’re nothing but a punk ass fighter without them”

Round 6. The two barely recognizable fighters are back out to mid-ring. Neither is going to back down. Only one of them is going to be left standing. Charlize scores first with a left-right to Hayley’s chest.. Hayley responds with a left upside Theron’s head. They are going for a knockout. One of them is not going to survive the round. Nothing is being held back as they slam away, Both corners holding their breath. They know is not going to last. Hayley staggers Charlize with a right to the side of head. Charlize stops her with a left to the face. They are slugging away and McQueen is pounding Charlize into a unrecognizable mess. Suddenly, that storied body twisting Theron right drops Hayley on her back. A stupefied Charlize stands over her, looking down at her unbelieving. The referee steps in and pushes Charlize away as Upton screams for her to get to a corner. Hayley manages to roll over and get to her hands and knees. Theron is praying that she doesn’t get up. That’s as far as she gets as the count reaches ten. Both fighters are helped to their corners to be worked on so they could walk back to the dressing room, which they do to a cheering crowd

AFTER
Hayley and Charlize are at the press table. Both look beat up. Neither appearing as the beauties that they are. Charlize is the first to speak “I want to thank Hayley for taking this bout. I got to tell everybody, I really didn’t appreciate her beating me stupid. I was really lucky to win this bout. If that right hand hadn’t landed, it was probably going to be over for me. Hayley is lucky that It was a Theron right hand not an Upton right hand. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. I know Hayley left the business for several years, came back, lost the fight and retired. She retired too soon. She can beat anyone in our age group and a lot of younger fighters. This woman can still fight. If you doubt that look at me.

Hayley speaks “I want to thank Charlize for giving me the chance. The fight was a real barnburner. I know the fans enjoyed it a lot more than Charlize and I did. I actually thought I had her in that last round. I had heard some say that Charlize was the most dangerous when she is hurt. I found that to be true. I can’t tell my grandchildren that I beat the GOAT but I can tell them that I did fight her. That’s more than a lot of fighters can say.
