Eden Cohen vs Georgia Mae Gibbs

Eden:

BEFORE:
Ever since being released from the VIXENs, Georgia Mae Gibbs’ fortunes have been mixed, with a losing record back in 2021 and not having scored a win for the whole of 2022 thus far. To hear her tell it, however, the Aussie blonde still sounds bitter about having been released two years ago, and her plans to take it out on VIX’s latest Lightweight hire:

“So this is who they brought in to replace me, huh?” Georgia says with a touch of scorn from the press table. “Other than being a few years younger than me, I’m not impressed. I’m doing just fine at Holloway. Sure, I’ve hit some snags in my win record, but overall, I’m still getting fights. I’d bet this Cohen girl would be out on the street if she got released by her stable.”

Eden not mincing her words either, fresh off wins against Stephanie Rayner and Joy Corrigan, and continuing her march to the top of the division rankings.

“I can see why VIX management dropped her like a hot potato,” Eden cuts back from across the table. “She’s on a downward spiral. Her record is getting worse and worse by the year, and who freakin’ loses to Zendaya Coleman? Apparently, her.”

Bad blood coalescing when these two beauties stride up to each other at the podium and immediately push and shove shoulders, and Georgia is just about to lunge at Eden’s face with an open slap when the officials crowd in to separate them both.

Hours later, Eden’s in a white bikini and red gloves, stretching in a corner of the ring. In the other, Georgia looks resplendent in a red bikini and black gloves. Referee signals for the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Body shots abound, both girls heading straight for each other and pounding away! Eden with a right hook to the face that stuns Georgia, but soon after, Gibbs returns with a swift overhand to catch her flush on the cheek. Second half sees Cohen dominating, firing a lucky combo straight into the lips that must have stung. Gibbs pedalling backwards, leaving her body exposed as Cohen shoots in more leather to win the opening round wide.

ROUND 2:
Gibbs returns fire, taking a couple of tummy shots before blasting Eden across the lips with a swift hook. Eden’s turn to get stunned, grunting as she covers up from more jabs sailing in. Gibbs stays on top of her, helping herself to several low bangs off the side and then wailing away on the arms again. Eden blocks and moves, stays comfortable for the most part. The Vixen squeezes in some jabs to the face to stave off the overeager blonde, but Gibbs still steals it by the bell.

ROUND 3:
Messy clinches in the center of the ring whenever one girl swings high but the other ducks under and bangs a fist of the tummy. Eden doing well in close quarters, neutralising Gibbs with an early uppercut to the base of her chin, which stuns her, then ploughing fists south of the belly as leather stuns trembling tummy flesh. Gibbs folded fast, but holding on tight with her own arms wrapped around the neck and shoulders. Aussie model manages to press their bodies into the ropes, neutralising Eden’s movements. Referee tries to separate them multiple times, but they just lunge back at each other till the closing bell.

ROUND 4:
Gibbs returns the favour, nailing Cohen on the belly button stud with a low, lunging uppercut under the arms, driving the air from her lungs and folding her over. Eden barely has time to cover as another hook stuns her to the side of the head, which sends her reeling. Gibbs smells blood, chasing and pounding away all over, but Cohen manages to recover by the ropes and weaves around a knockout hook aimed for the head. Eden stays alive for now, firing jabs to the face as Gibbs tries to end the fight but fails.

ROUND 5:
Gibbs and Eden exchange fire in close quarters, sticking gloves repeatedly into the nose and lips before breaking apart again. Blonde and brunette continue to clash like this for a minute, and Georgia even sneaks in a couple of nasty shots to the Israeli model’s chest. Enraged, Eden swipes a hook clean across her face as she weaves back up, then another right hand driven straight into the chin to send her stumbling back! OUCH! Gibbs in trouble as her back hits the ropes, but Eden’s right there to “support” her with a one-two pumping uppercut to her stomach, before driving a last hook across the model’s face - AND DOWN SHE GOES!! Gibbs spiralled down to her side, where she stays for the rest of the 10-count! It’s OVER!

Official Decision: Eden Cohen defeats Georgia May Gibbs via KO5!

AFTER:
“b*tch!” Eden hisses through bated breath, hauling Gibbs up by the hair and going for a walk-of-shame about the ring, one hand gripped in her blonde hair, the other tugging on her bikini bottoms to get her moving.

Gibbs is still in shock, mouth hanging open and eyelids fluttering. Gibbs gets thrown down to the canvas, and posed on, Eden flexing her biceps as she plants a foot into her chest.
