Before:

It is a battle of the blondes as Kelly Rohrbach looks to avoid a 3-0 hole against Taylor Swift after losing their only prior two fights. Rohrbach has always been a better than average fighter, but has never been able to take that next step that so many think she can do. Beating Swift would not only be revenge for two prior losses, but a statement victory that Rohrbach can beat the best, and Kelly knows it.

“Taylor is a top fighter for a reason, but I am sick of hearing that she is the only blonde lightweight who matters.” Kelly tells the press, “She’s beaten me twice. I am going to prove that I am on her level and can beat her.”

Swift laughs at the model’s statement, “Kelly can’t compete with the class fighter of Fates. She wants me – she’ll be knocked out. Again.”

Round 1:

Both blondes start out quickly and it’s a clash of styles early on. Taylor looking for the jab while Kelly looks to work inside and work the body. Neither girl is able to make much in the first minute, but Taylor opens up the fight in the second minute with a right feint before shifting and sticking with her left into Kelly’s face. Rohrbach stunned and Swift smacks a follow up into her face, snapping her head back. Kelly brought back to reality and blocks Taylor’s follow up and the singer steps forward. It’s a slugfest as Taylor and Kelly pound punches into the other blonde’s body from close quarters and the two girls get tangled up. The ref steps in and pulls them apart and Kelly deftly dodges a left from Taylor before getting in two good licks before the end of the round. Still, the singer takes the first round on points.

Round 2:

The second round starts the same as the first and the blondes waste no time returning to their strategies. Taylor taking the first minute of the second with her jab, the singer keeping the model at a distance. Swift shoots out a left jab, but Rohrbach blocks it with her guard and snaps the singer’s head back with a straight left. Taylor takes a half step backward and Kelly goes body, unleashing a barrage of strikes into the singer’s chest. Taylor covering up and blocking what she can, but the model is relentless. Swift eventually uses her legs to cover more ground and retreat, buying herself distance to launch a pair of jabs that force Kelly to back off. The two girls start circling each other, Taylor throwing jabs and Kelly looking for the counter to the bell.

Round 3:

The third round starts with the two girls circling each other and Taylor takes the lead early, the singer going to her jab. Swift lands a left into Rohrbach’s mouth and the singer’s finding lefts and rights into the model’s chest, the singer focusing on the smaller girl’s ribs. Kelly gasps as Taylor buries a left into her midriff and the model clinches as she’s driven into the ropes. Taylor goes right back after Kelly after the break, but the smaller girl dodges and connects with a right that thumps the taller girl in her stomach. Swift now the girl getting pursued as Rohrbach works from close range, the model finding lefts and rights into the bigger girl’s body. Kelly building momentum as she works Taylor back, but the singer plants her feet and lands a right as time expires.

Round 4:

The blondes step back toward each other and let the punches fly. Rohrbach may not have won the titles Swift has, but the model has plenty of power and she shows it off here. Taylor caught off guard by Kelly’s power as the model plows leather into her midriff and Taylor gives out a shout! Swift swings back wildly and connects with a left that knocks Rohrbach backward, and the singer steps forward. Taylor shoots out a right that skips off of Kelly’s ear. Swift swings with her left again but Rohrbach dodges and stuff’s Swift’s mouth with leather, busting open the singer’s upper lip. Taylor stunned and Kelly follows up with a right that knocks the former champion back into the ropes. Rohrbach working over Swift’s body back into the ropes. The bell rings and the model takes the fourth on points.

Round 5:

The two blondes still show plenty of energy as they near the halfway point in the fight. Kelly confidently using her power to tag Taylor with counters while the singer uses her reach advantage to keep the model on her heels. Swift with a big hook early that hits Rohrbach in her mouth. Kelly digs a right into Taylor’s ribs in return but the singer presses her advantage, landing a follow up into Kelly’s nose and the model clinches. The ref separates the two girls and they start circling with Taylor continuing her jabs at Kelly, but the smaller girl works a left counter into Taylor’s midriff before landing a chop into Taylor’s chin. Now it’s the bigger girl who’s retreating as Rohrbach gets herself into close quarters and jams Swift’s reach. The model picks a spot on Swift’s ribs and torso and hammers her to the bell.

Round 6:

The sixth round starts with both girls circling, and it’s Kelly who’s taking the lead on the tempo. The model is using her speed to work around the singer’s guard, popping a strike into Swift’s body before retreating. Taylor frustrated with Kelly’s tactics and the singer drops back and plants her feet. Rohrbach steps forward and feints left before shooting out a right that bounces off of Swift’s guard – and Taylor snaps Kelly’s head back with a right! Rohrbach staggering backward as Swift finds another blistering blow into the model’s face, and Kelly is covering up! Taylor shifts her focus to Kelly’s body and the model winces as Taylor buries a left into her solar plexus. Rohrbach’s guard flares out and that’s all Swift needs to drive two punches into Kelly’s chin and down goes the model! Swift to the corner as the ref starts to count. Rohrbach makes it to all fours, but she gets no further. Your winner by KO6, Taylor Swift!

After:

That’s three straight wins against Rohrbach by Swift and the model’s got to stop fighting the singer at this rate. Taylor mounts the ringpost while Kelly gets medical attention, and the singer leaves without talking to Kelly.

“The last time we fought, I said Kelly wasn’t on my level and would have to get better.” Taylor says, “She hasn’t. Maybe she should go for a JMDD match against an awful fighter like Emily DiDonato. Until then, maybe Kelly should stick to girls she may have a chance of beating like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Blake Lively is too good for her.”

Rohrbach frustrated, her losing streak against Fates girls continuing. “I will get my revenge against girls from that stable, including Taylor one day,” Kelly promises, “I’ll be back.”
