Elizabeth Olsen versus Lili Reinhart (Bantamweight Title)

Before:

The bantamweight title is on the line as Front Street’s Lili Reinhart meets Fates’s Elizabeth Olsen as Lizzie looks to defend her title and continue her reign. The two girls met once before in 2021 when Olsen won by a KO6. Tonight, Lili has the chance for revenge and to even up the score with a win and continue Front Street’s streak of holding titles. The two girls enter the press conference, and Reinhart is the first one to speak.

“Elizabeth has really been one of the best fighters in the FCBA,” Lili tells the press, “She’s barely lost, and she’s even beaten me. It’s an honor to be fighting her, but I intend to dethrone her and become the new bantamweight champion.”

“I chose Lili because I knew she would give me a good fight and she has earned her chance at the title.” Olsen says, “But I don’t intend on losing. It took me 10 years in the FCBA, 10 years, to win the title. I was a free agent for two years before Fates signed me. I worked hard to get here and I won’t let it go easily.”

The crowd has a big fight atmosphere as the match is introduced. Reinhart is the first girl to make her way to the ring, the challenger removing her robe to reveal a leopard print sports bra and matching trunks with white gloves. The blonde paces around the ring, the Front Street staff giving her final instructions when she returns to her corner.

Elizabeth Olsen is announced second and the Scarlet Witch makes her way to the ring accompanied by stablemate Emily DiDonato. The champion has donned a scarlet sports bra with matching trunks and black gloves for the fight, her hair in a bun. The champion presents her title to the ref, who displays it to both girls and hands it to the table. The two girls touch gloves and the ref calls for the bell.

Round 1:

The two actresses start by circling each other, both wary of the other. Reinhart gets her jab going early, and Olsen keeps her gloves up to block the blows. Lizzie drops back and plants her feet. Lili feints right but Elizabeth reads her and connects with a left. Reinhart gets her gloves up to block the follow up right from the champion, but Olsen shifts her focus to the younger girl’s body and starts working her ribs. Reinhart giving up ground from close range and this is where Olsen made her title run. Olsen gets the younger girl into the ropes and goes body as Reinhart clinches to force the break. Lili keeps her distance out of the break, jabbing at Liz when the Avenger closes distance. Reinhart lands a solid strike as the round ends, but the opening frame goes to the champion on points.

Round 2:

Reinhart more aggressive to start the second and the blonde lands a left early that knocks Olsen backward. Lizzie doing her best to block the strikes from Lili, but the younger girl has turned up the intensity and works her back into the ropes. Olsen escapes with the help of a strong left, but Reinhart comes right after her. Reinhart working around Olsen’s guard and the older girl struggles to find a response before she can clinch. The ref steps in and pulls the two girls apart. Once the action continues, the champ starts landing her blows, but Lili is faster and the blonde regains the upper hand. Reinhart showing why she’s a top tier fighter as she dissects Olsen’s guard and keeps up the pressure. Elizabeth lands a left before the round ends, but she can’t capitalize on her strike and the bell rings.

Round 3:

The two girls return to circling to start the third round, both bantamweights keeping their strikes crisp. Lili lands a solid right to start the round, but Elizabeth comes back with a left strike that keeps Lili from advancing. The two continue to circle, with both girls trading left and right jabs. Reinhart connects with another strike and steadily works Olsen back into the ropes – and Lili nearly goes down as Elizabeth connects with a left! Olsen follows up with a right hook and knocks the challenger backward. Blonde girl covering up as on comes the brunette, the champion working short strikes into the challenger’s body. Lili protecting her head, but Liz just works her ribs, getting in solid punches. Reinhart locks in a clinch and forces a break, and the two girls continue circling once the fight continues.

Round 4:

The fourth starts with a flurry of blows as Reinhart turns up the tempo with her longer reach. Lili splits Elizabeth’s gloves with a left early on and the brunette clinches before the Front Street girl can follow up. Lili goes right back to her jab and while Lizzie isn’t getting any blows in herself, Lili’s strikes bounce harmlessly off of her guard. Reinhart finds a left hook after a feint that slips past Olsen’s guard, catching the brunette in the side of her head. Lizzie stays on her feet and the champion connects with a straight right. Olsen follows up with a left, but her blow skips off of Reinhart’s ear. Lili comes back with a right and the Avenger is staggered. Lizzie protecting her head as Lili tags her body, but the bell rings and the two girls are sent back to their corners.

Round 5:

Olsen gets an earful from DiDonato between the rounds and whatever the model said worked because the champion takes control of the fifth from the bell. Lizzie ducking and diving away from the bigger girl’s strikes. Lili shoots out a left as Elizabeth bobs right and Olsen wallops Reinhart with a left. Lili staggers backwards and Lizzie connects with a right into her midriff, driving the air out of her lungs. Reinhart wincing and the younger actress clinches, holding on as the ref separates the two girls. Reinhart gets her gloves up and Olsen tests her defense. The champion keeping the challenger honest, getting her ribs as she throws in the occasional shot to the guard. Reinhart’s back touches the ropes and the challenger clinches to force another break. Olsen goes for a straight right out of the break, but Reinhart lands a right of her own back. The bell rings, and Olsen takes the lead going into the back half of the fight.

Round 6:

Lizzie still with the same look from the fifth and she opens up with a feint left before blasting Lili with a right. Reinhart stands her ground and connects with a right off of Olsen’s ear before connecting with a left to her chest. Lili throws the third punch but nobody is home as Elizabeth steps out of the way and connects with a right hook to Lili’s jaw that staggers the blonde! Reinhart gets her gloves up but she’s too late as Olsen lready ahs sent her left-right combo into Lili’s mouth and down goes the challenger! Olsen to the neutral corner and the Front Street staff is yelling at their fighter to get up. Lili picks her head off of the canvas and scrambles to all fours at the count of six, the blonde reaching for the ropes and pulling herself up at the count of nine. The ref gives her the mandatory and waves Olsen back in. Lizzie clinical, going for body as Lili is protecting her face. Girls in the ropes and the ref pulls them apart. Olsen with a right – but she misses and Reinhart drills Olsen back! Lili with two chops to follow up and the bell rings. Lizzie a bit stunned as she goes back to her corner despite getting the round on points.

Round 7:

Lili like a shot out of a cannon to start the seventh as Lizzie covers up. Olsen blocks Reinhart’s jabs and the Avenger lands a clean strike into the younger girl’s nose. Lili takes a step back and Elizabeth steps forward – and nearly gets her head taken off by a haymaker from Lili. Olsen quick to cover up but Reinhart’s showing her no mercy as she pounds her into the ropes. It’s all Olsen can do to protect her head as Reinhart slams her into the ropes and the champion is looking for the clinch. Reinhart dances back and connects with a left into Olsen’s jaw and the champion throws herself onto the challenger to force a break. The ref separates the two girls and is watching carefully as Lili takes the fight to Elizabeth. Olsen doing a better job of protecting herself and fighting back, but Reinhart outmuscles her and connects with a right into the brunette’s mouth, drawing a trickle of blood. The bell rings and Olsen’s clearly reeling as the challenger takes the seventh on points by shutout.

Round 8:

Reinhart’s eyes grow big in her corner as she listens to the Front Street staff while Olsen barely nods from DiDonato’s instructions. Lili quick out of her corner while Liz is cautious, and Lili goes right to her jabs. Elizabeth protecting her face and the blonde goes to her body and Lili buries leather into the brunette’s solar plexus. Lizzie staying up and countering when she can, catching the blonde in her face. Olsen follows up but Reinhart clinches to force a break. Lili goes right back to her jabs and Lizzie fights for the counter. Olsen landing punches but Reinhart keeps on connecting with her strikes and she drills a left into Lizzie’s chin and the champion goes wobbly butt! Lili connects with a straight right before connecting with a left hook that sends Elizabeth to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts and the ref’s count is barely audible as Olsen struggles to pick her head up. The brunette finally gets her head up and sees the ref’s count at seven. Lizzie desperately scrambles to all fours – but the brunette sways from left, to right and onto her side again, her face pressed onto the canvas. The ref reaches ten and your winner by KO8 and NEW BANTAMWEIGHT CHAMPION, LILI REINHART!

After:

Reinhart continues Front Street’s hot streak against Fates but also the stable’s title streak. The blonde sheds her gloves and pulls her hands up to her mouth, her accomplishment sinking in as she is presented with the belt. Lili takes the title in her hands and lifts it up for the crowd to see, drawing cheers from the fans. The Front Street staff floods the ring, celebrating the title victory and their new champion.

DiDonato rushes into the ring to tend to Olsen, the defeated actress struggling to move. The model helps the actress to the stool where the semi-conscious girl shakes her head, knowing that she lost even in the fog.

Lili slings the title over her shoulder and heads over to the former champion, asking Emily how Elizabeth is doing. Emily motions the new champion in and Lili hugs Elizabeth, drawing more cheers from the crowd. Olsen stands up and Reinhart lifts her hand up and the cheers grow louder. The two girls embrace again, sharing words of encouragement before heading their separate ways.

“Elizabeth is an incredible fighter and she deserved every minute with the title,” Lili compliments the former champion, “But I knew I had a chance against her, and I took it. The Front Street title streak continues, and I am going to be certain this will be a long reign.”

Olsen steps into the press conference later, the Scarlet Witch looking battered with the loss of her title, “Losing is tough, and I haven’t done a lot of it lately,” Lizzie says, to the slight chuckle of the press. “Losses happen, but I will be back. That is a promise. Lili is a great fighter and she will be great champion. But we are tied 1-1. If she wants a rubber match, she knows where to find me.”
