BEFORE:

"I GET that Ariel's looking to make a push for some gold," says Anna with a smile. "What I DON'T get is why she'd try to start that with ME."

"Anna's a class act," says Ariel without a hint of a smile. "But, she's in the way. And, right about now, that's NOT where you want to be."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Cups', and here comes the singer of that tune, former Unified Flyweight Champion Anna Kendrick!"

McCarthy: "Kendrick's a former champ. UNlike Winter!"

Cassie: "You know, Ariel's all about JMD these days. And, she's not afraid to go after a bantam. So, keep talking..."

McCarthy: "Weirdo knows my number! All he has to do is call! I'll sign right now!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Kendrick into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's looking plenty good in that zebra-striped number we've seen before. And, that's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hammering through the arena, and here comes the singer of the cover version of that song, Ariel 'Dangerous Curves' Winter!"

Tess: "And, Winter ALL business on the way down here."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. She's wasting no time getting into the ring. Ariel helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and she's getting plenty of pop from the crowd for that curve-hugging white number she likes. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Winter. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Kendrick's a champion. Anna!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell, and the ladies get to work. Winter forward, wants to close and bang. Kendrick using the jab, looking to maintain some distance here, box a little, slow down Ariel. Winter digging some body in there, but Anna slips away, circles, gets back to the jab..."

Cassie: "Not typical JMD tactics from Kendrick, but Anna's a smart cookie..."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed, and she's going to bang with, but she's going to pick her spots to do that, which is probably a pretty good idea, considering Winter's power. Just standing in front of her and banging does not seem like it would be a recipe for success JMD or otherwise..."

McCarthy: "She's an overrated Dancing Hooker. Spit the bit in her title fight. Spit the bit against Cameron when she could have gotten a second one. A typical Failed Front Street Flyweight."

O'Dell: "We're into the final seconds of this stanza, and it's been a good, two-way round, with Winter scoring well on the inside and Kendrick offsetting that at range. Sharp exchange there and another and there's the bell. Close one going to go to Anna, I think..."

Tess: "And, Kendrick takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway on the same terms as we saw in the first. Kendrick working at distance, Winter wanting to close and bang. Anna alternately keeping those exchanges short, and, at times of her choosing, prolonging them, scoring to both head and body and STAGGERING ARIEL WITH A RIGHT HOOK!"

McCarthy: "BEAUTIFUL PUNCH!"

O'Dell: "Winter all wobbly butt and DROPPED BY A RIGHT HAND! Anna looking every bit the former champ as she sends the younger woman to her rump with a perfectly-placed right! Kendrick to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Ariel pounding the mat in frustration. Six. Seven. Winter to her feet. Ref going to give her the mandatory and wave on Anna!"

Tess: "And, Kendrick definitely trying to finish now!"

O'Dell: "No doubt. She's hammering away to head and body and going RACK in a big way, POUNDING every legal inch of Ariel's body. Winter on the ropes, taking the punishment, firing back on occasion, running clock. Ref watching closely, but there's the bell. Huge round for Kendrick."

Cassie: "And, Anna extends her lead to 20-17."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Kendrick pressing the advantage early. Now, Anna's the one stepping to, looking to back up Ariel. Winter giving ground grudgingly, firing back. We're getting some sharp exchanges in there now, with work both upstairs and down and now Winter backs up Kendrick with a solid combination..."

McCarthy: "Anna going to want to get back to range here..."

O'Dell: "That looks like the plan. She's back to the jab. moving. Ariel cutting, closing, going body in a big way, working some rack in there. Kendrick tying up, slipping away, getting back to the jab. Good stuff from Anna as she continues to limit Winter's opportunities to get physical."

Cassie: "Ariel taking advantage of what she gets, though..."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Good right from Winter backs Kendrick up a step. Ariel steps to, goes body. Kendrick fires back in kind. BOTH fighters going rack right now, but not ignoring the ribs or tummy or the head. Lots of heavy leather flying and there's the bell! Ref leaps in between just in case. Close. Winter."

Tess: "But, Kendrick still leads 29-27."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Back to work in the fourth and it's more aggression from Winter. She's working forward, crowding Kendrick, working her body, hooking rack. Anna tying up, slipping way, getting back to the jab, but Ariel right back in her grill. Winter determined to get physical right now..."

Tess: "And, she's having plenty of success doing it."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed. This has been the best round of the fight for Ariel so far. Kendrick still having moments when she can get to and maintain range, but mostly they're in the booth and WINTER ROCKS KENDRICK! Short right hook! Ariel goes RACK now, then DROPS ANNA WITH A RIGHT UPPERCUT!"

Cassie (singing): "Turn out the liiiigggghhhhhtttttssss. The party's ohhhhhverrrrrrr...."

O'Dell: "Winter STOMPING to a neutral corner. Kendrick face down on the canvas, not moving at all. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Anna stirring now, trying to push up to hands and knees. Seven. Eight. Can't do it! Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Kendrick can't get off the deck and it's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is Ariel 'Dangerous Curves' Winter!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Ariel Winter, and, Ariel, seemed like you got a lot more aggressive after that knockdown..."

Ariel (nodding): "Obviously, she's a champion and a great fighter, so you can't just go winging away at her. She's too good and too dangerous for that. But, I knew if I could bring my power to bear on her, I could take her out of there. And, that's exactly what I did."

Tess: "So, are we going to see more of you in JMD fights?"

Ariel (smiling): "No doubt. This is the focus now. Not exclusively, but it's where were going at the moment."
