Maya Jama (Beever's Babes) v Marloes Horst (Unmanaged)

Maya has struggled to make an impact in her BBU career to date, having been knocked out in her last four fights, but now the 28 year old has accepted that she cannot make either bantamweight or even lightweight, and fights tonight at welterweight against 34 year old Dutch babe Marloes, who has also had some disappointing returns.

The girls are in the ring, with Maya in white bra and panties, and Marloes in baby blue, both looking.

Ready for action!

Round 1

Immediately from the opening bell, it’s Maya on the attack, the local girl hammering away at Marloes’ body, with the blonde retreating, defending herself, and now she tries to punch her way out of trouble, throws a decent jab into Maya’s mouth, but Maya’s all over Marloes, giving her plenty of punishment to her body, but Marloes isn’t dropping her guard, defending herself really well, the lovely blonde moving away, and circling, and now, having taken Maya’s bodyshots, which don’t seem to have hurt her at all, she fights back, hooks Maya to her face with left and right hooks, only for Maya to come back again, and Maya’s giving Marloes a good thumping before the bell, the blonde backing into the ropes, with Maya trying to rip a decent punch or two into her face.

Round 2

Can Maya keep up the pressure? She’s off her stool quickly again, roared on by her supporters, but it seems like Marloes is ready for Maya this time, and she stands and trades punches with her, both girls aiming at their opponent’s pretty face, which won’t be pretty for much longer as they each take good shots, but it’s clear that Maya has been really hurt by a crunching left hook, and she steps back, almost for the first time so far in this fight, and a grinning Marloes enjoyed that, knows she can hit Maya and cause her some damage, and now she’s enjoying herself some more as she skilfully works Maya to a neutral corner and hammers her body, Maya squealing as the shots bang into her flanks, the younger girl trying to keep her elbows tucked in, but Marloes shatters her confidence by landing a right uppercut in her face right on the bell, Maya very unsteady as she lurches to her corner.

Round 3

Maya’s not fully recovered, and she’s wincing as she gets up for the third round, once again not looking fit enough to take punches to her body, and Marloes has clearly spotted her weakness, because she tears back into the Brit’s body immediately, Maya gasping and squealing as the Dutch girl lands leather on her flesh, Maya’s guard gradually coming down, and she’s in trouble here, her eyes wide and watery as now Marloes spears a big left hook into her jaw, sending the local favourite sideways, blood flying from her lips, Marloes following that with a right cross, Maya still backed into the unforgiving ropes, and in comes another left hook from the Dutch babe, and it’s all over for Maya!

Result: Marloes Horst knocked out Maya Jama in round 3

Despite their disappointment, the Bristol fight fans cheer Marloes to acknowledge she demolished their favourite girl, who sits on her stool despondently, well schooled tonight by a better fighter. Does Maya have a future in BBU? She certainly needs a win, which is a shame because she wants to fight Belén Rodríguez next!
