OFFICIAL FCBA "SUMMER SHOWDOWN" PPV 2022

BEFORE:
A battle of young Hollywood starlets, as Nell Tiger Free prepares to show Millie Bobby Brown a warm welcome to FCBA competition.

What’s up with all these youngsters and their long-ass names, one reporter is overheard saying, which draws mutual glares from both girls.

“I’d bet our names are longer than whatever you have done there,” Nell shouts back at the man.

“What’s your name, then?” Millie says next. “Little Miss Wanker?”

The room erupts in laughter as the fighters make war with the press instead of each other, and later on, both British fighters have nothing but praise for the other.

“I’ve been watching Nell in the ring, especially when she was just starting out,” Millie says with a smile. “I knew I was always going to box as well, so I wanted to emulate her one day.”

“Millie doesn’t need to emulate anyone but herself,” Nell says next. “She’s got the success and charisma to make it in Hollywood - hell, she’s ALREADY made it, one could argue, as the star of Stranger Things. I’d say she’s going to do just fine on her own.”

In the ring hours later, Millie is wearing a plain white sports bra and yellow boxing trunks. She has her blonde hair tied into a ponytail and looks ready to go in her red gloves. Nell has her own hair braided out back, and is doing last minute stretches in her corner. The newest Vixen to the scene is wearing a red sports bra and black short trunks, complete with white gloves.

Referee gets the nod from both corners, and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Punches exchanged as ladies get into the thick of things, Nell landing several shots to the face before Millie lunges at her head with a hook. They exchange several more flurries before Nell takes a punishing shot to the side of the ear, which throws her off balance. She’s shocked somewhat by Millie’s power, and keeps her distance for the remainder of the round. Millie, emboldened, tries to rush in and maintain her lead, but then underestimates Nell’s speed and agility, taking jabs to her face before the round ends slightly in her opponent’s favour.

ROUND 2:
Nell keeps moving and shooting, landing jabs to Millie’s face but then gets blasted back by a return cross hand to the middle of the arms. Millie’s ferocity is back as she chases her fellow Brit backwards, shocking her with more straight hands to the body and trying to drive her into the ropes. Nell not allowing that to happen, but powerless to stop the abuse for now. She lowers her guard and scrambles away, and all she can do for the remainder is paw at Millie’s head. Round ends and Bobby Brown celebrates her dominance with a big smile and waltzes back to her corner.

ROUND 3:
More of the same, as Nell struggles to crack this strange nut. The Vixen is tossing flurries towards the head, some of which snagging the lips and nose, but keeps getting scared away by Millie’s return swings back to her own head. Millie’s strength lies in getting in close and thumping away at the body, and she lands several hooks off the side and ribs before Nell shoves her head back with a snap left hand to the chin. Millie can’t take much more of this abuse, but at least she comes away from the third with another edge round.

ROUND 4:
Nell battles back: left right combos catching Millie on the nose before the Stranger Things starlet has time to react, and Nell beats her across the ring and back in this exact way. Millie’s return fire suddenly misses wide, as Nell avoids an early swish to her noggin’ and then lunges back with an uppercut ploughed to the stomach, more big hands chasing Millie backwards to start her descent. Bobby Brown suffered a setback early and it just never recovered in the fourth, with Nell seizing the opportunity as well and not letting up with those headhunting punches.

ROUND 5:
So far, both girls clearly want this. Millie moves in with caution, arms up and again trying to blast Nell off her feet with a big, lucky right cross. But Nell’s still nimble, swerving her head to the side to avoid another one before snagging the chin with a right hook. Millie looks dazed, frowning as she takes another hit off the temple. Nell shows off some of her own power here, ending the combo with a step-in straight cross to the midsection to really send Bobby Brown stumbling into the ropes. Millie tries to regroup and regain her balance but she’s still trying to swing at a fast-incoming Nell, misses again with a hook overhead before taking a BISH across the chin, and DOWN MILLIE GOES, getting rocked off her feet and sent down to all fours! It’s the first KNOCKDOWN of the evening, as Nell’s precision pays off! Millie not done, however, banging her mitts off the ground before getting back up by the count of 7. This fight goes on!

ROUND 6:
Nell is smiling now as she takes the lead, coming in fast and ready to mop up. She lands more snap jabs off Millie’s button of a nose, indicating her opponent hasn’t quite recovered from that earlier knockdown attempt, but just after that, a wild overhand from her misses when Millie slips off to the side, before paying Nell back with a crunching hook sent across her chin! Two can play that game, as Millie showcases some of her own fast moves! Crowd up in an uproar as Bobby Brown takes the fight back to her opponent, left and right hooks smacking into her tummy low, then more fists driven into her arms to stumble her backwards. Nell’s in trouble of her own as she bears the brunt of Millie’s power with her back to the ropes, gets NAILED on the side of the head and SENT OFF HER OWN FEET instead, hitting the ground face-first with a loud THUD!! A revenge KNOCKDOWN of her own, as Millie Bobby Brown evens the scoreboards!

Nell shakes her head, slowly getting back up, as Millie absorbs the cheers on her way back to the neutral corner. The British starlet is smiling wide, her fans and fight team fully at her back for another five rounds if need be. Nell recovers by the count of 8, and braces herself for another two minutes of action!

Bell rings to resume the round, and HERE COMES MILLIE! Nell lets out a grunt as Bobby Brown smashes a barrage of punches into her arms, several hitting the body and sending her collapsing into the ropes while clutching her chest. Nell trying to hide her face behind her arms but with nowhere left to go, Millie’s rocking her head and upper torso about with devastating hooks, the younger actress simply planting her feet firmly in the ground and then letting loose those bombs, as they toss Nell to the left with a grunt, then another hook swivelling her further off down the line. Nell’s looking shocked and silly, mouth open and heaving air, arms wavering, as the referee suddenly decides ENOUGH’S ENOUGH! WHAT’S THIS?!? He steps in between both girls and WAVES the rest of this fight off! It’s an unexpected TKO6 victory for Millie Bobby Brown!

Official Decision: Millie Bobby Brown puts Nell Tiger Free away via TKO6!

AFTER:
Of course, Millie’s ecstatic, immediately throwing up her hands in the air and running back to her corner to celebrate. Nell, on the other hand, looks a little flabbergasted, leaning back on the ropes and immediately arguing with the referee as to why he stopped the fight when her arms were still up.

No point complaining about the result, however, as the ring officials take the cue from the referee, and the final result is announced over the stadium television sets. Nell, ever gracious, is shaking her head and planting her gloves on either side of her hips, but then later heading over to Millie’s corner and giving her a congratulatory hug.

Both ladies promise they’ll do this again some day, what with their careers being so young and filled with so much potential.
