KATE MARA VS HAYDEN PANETTIERE

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Kate: 40 YO, 5’2 (1.57 m), 4-13-6, 4 KO since 2016 Celebrity Wrestling Federation
Hayden: 32 YO, 5’ 1 1.2 (1.55 m), 76-47-1 (59 KO) since 3016 Foxfire Boxing

Before: “Oh, I get why Foxfire and Panettiere want to fight me,” Kate Mara knowingly tells prefight presser audition. “She’s a Hall of Famer, but she’s been a slump the past 3 years She’s lost her last 4 in a row. So why do they come to me? For an easy win to break the streak. Hey, I appreciate the attention, but as Alexa Bliss found out—I’m no one’s jobber. As far as I am concerned Hayden is a has-been who needs a dose of reality about the state of her career. And I am just the fighter to do it!”

Hayden scowling: “Thank you for the career analysis, Ms. Mara, you aren’t telling anything my managers and I aren’t aware of it. Yes, I have struggled the past couple of years. I am fighting Kate Mara because she is someone I have not faced before. The thinking is that it would do me good to face someone new. I think it’s the right plan and I look forward to fighting Kate. I am out to get on track and she’s going to first to fall. And, Kate, I am not Alexa Bliss—beting her in no way qualifies you to beat me.”

“Don’t be so sure of that,: Kate warned.

“But I am—as you will see for yourself,” Hayden said firmly.

Come the night of the Fight, Hayden entered the ring in a black one piece swimsuit with red gloves and boots (black laces). Her blonde pulled back and gathered as bun at back on her neck. Kate appears in a shiny red one piece swimsuit. Her dark hair pulled back in a short battke braid. Black gloves and boots (red laces) complete the look.

The ring instructions go smoothly. Quicj tap of the gloves and the fighters go to their corners. Then the bell rings…

R1: Kate on the offensive as the fight gets started. BAM! BAM! BAM! Hayden getting clipped hard to the chin and then stuffed in the gut with hooks. Hayden knocked back on her heels, but then tries to rally. She pushes forward with body hooks of her own. She and Kate trading at point blank range. Punches chugging back in forth in close. Staying very even over the middle minute. Then Kate slips an uppercut up into Hayden’s chin. Hayden’s head snaps back and then Kate goes to the belly with a fresh burst of hooks. Hayden reels back, doubled up and gasping for air. Kate follows banging shots off Hayden’s head until Hayden able to rally behind her jab in the closing moments. Exciting first round ends in close win for Kate Mara.

R2: Hayden and Kate circling each other, firing away at each other to the head. Hayden makes a rush forward, smacking Kate hard to the chin and jaw. Kate falling back, but then attacks herself. Hayden banged up around the cheekbones and side of the head. Hayden falls back, but then she counterattacks and this time goes after Kate to her ribcage. Kate trying to answer by going after Hayden’s ribs but gets unexpected clouted to the side of the head by a Panettiere right. Kate wobbly as she backs away, trying to throw up a rear guard of jabs and does manage to spoil Hayden’s follow-up. Judges find it a close round and give to Hayden Panettiere.

R3: Hayden now going to full-on in attacking Kate Mara to the body. Hayden does throw in a few head shots just to keep Kate guessing. However Hayden’s focus soon clearly on wearing down Kate to the body Most of Hayden’s punching going into Kate’s stomach, but the punching goes to the ribs and Kate’s breasts as well. Kate is quick to respond in kind and she puts plenty of hard leather into Hayden’s belly, ribs and breasts. Kate trying to press Hayden back, but Hayden setting her feet, punches back with determination and starts pushing Kate slowly back. Hard fight to the end and once again, Hayden Panettiere is rewarded with a narrow win.

R4: Kate Mara now attacks at the outset of the new round. Hayden smashed hard to the jaw with left/right combo and then jolted by hooks to her midsection. Hayden trying to get her counters going, but then Kate gets to her chin with left/right uppercuts that send Hayden reeling back. Kate surging forward punching at Hayden to the head and body. Hayden fighting back hard. It is very even at this point, but then Kate makes Hayden’s body shake with shots into her ribs. Hayden clearly feeling the pain as Kate works those ribs and Hayden has to fall back as the round ends; Close round again, but this time it is Kate Mara who emerges with the win.

R5: Kate senses opportunity with Hayden’s damaged ribs and goes after them this round. Hayden works to make Kate pay as she repeatedly tries to come in close. Hayden also moving away from Kate, but Kate is staying close and keeps lunging in for new swats at those ribs, Hayden shudders as the new pressure on her ribcage mounts, but she doggedly fights every new Kate rush. Then Hayden manages to catch Kate with a right cross off the jaw and then a left hook follow-up. Kate is caught flush and comes to a stunned halt. Hayden seizes the opportunity and unleashes frenzied rights and lefts to Kate’s jaw and chin. Kate tries to backway but then takes a big booming uppercut that SENDS KATE CRASHING ONTO HER BACK! Kate hits the canvas and bounces before stopping, arms legs flung out in a classic starfish. Hayden hurries t the neutral corner and looks back anxiously. Referee has moved in and counts Kate is stirring, trying to get up, but looks like her body is just not cooperating, she is still on her back as referee calls:

“….TEN!...YER OUT!”

THE WINNER HAYDEN PANTIERRE DEFEATS KATE MARA KO5!

After: “She sure didn’t make it easy,” Hayden says of Kate Mara after the fight. Hayd’s ribs are taped and clearly hurting, “I admit was concerned about how much more my ribs could take of her punching, but I knew I was hurting her every time she tried to come at me in the 5th. Finally I was able to nail her and pull out the win. It was a real relief. Now I am winning again That;s the important thing for me.”

“I m glad she admitted that,” Kate Mara says, “I knew I was hurting her bad to the ribs. I think if I had just been a little more patient and not tried to force my way in, I could have beaten her. But I didn’t and that’s what matters. I hope I can do a lot better next time in the ring.”

Surprisingly close call for Hayden Panettiere. She seemed to be wearing Kate Mara down, only to suddenly the have the tables turned and Kate seemed about to wear Hayden down. Hayden did manage to get the win and break her losing streak, but she clearly has a ways to go to reestablish her contender form, Meanwhile Kate Mara did show punching power and that could help her in future fights.
