Intro:
We kick off tonight's action with a fight streamed from Japan's Tokyo Dome. An unofficial national title battle as Asuka Kuramochi aims to prove she has become the new ace of Japan. The woman widely regarded with that title is of course former BBU flyweight champion Mikie Hara. Which one will prove to deserve the title right now?

There is more to this bout then just that angle. Mikie Hara is of course a former Front Street Japan girl. She signed her contract to join the Revolution stable last year. Her success has been well... Not really existent. Front Street Japan manager Hamada doesn't say much on the matter, the grin on her face tells the story of what she thinks of her former protégés decision.

Fight night, first to come out onto the aisle is Asuka Kuramochi with Kei Mizutani. Asuka is wearing a black silk robe as she smiles, looking excited to battle her former superior in the FSJ stable. She steps into the ring is Kei removing the robe. Revealing that Asuka is wearing a black bikini with matching gloves, black painted toe nails on her bare feet, while her hair is tied into a braid. She bounces on her toes as she taps her cheeks waiting for her opponent.

Out now comes Mikie with her coach Miyada Issiki behind her. She stares at the ring with her usual cold expression. She marches down the aisle looking keen to prove her dominance on her home nation. Climbing into the ring, Mikie is wearing a white bikini with matching gloves, hair in a braid too as she paces a little in her corner, maybe showing some hint of fear?

The referee brings the fighters to the center of the ring. Outside the ring Hamada is watching keenly from the VIP section. In the ring the fighters stare intensely at their opponent. They do bump fists with a tense look to them, this has been brewing since Asuka joined the Front Street Japan stable. They return to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Both women are out trading jabs, Asuka dipping down to stab several of hers towards the belly button of her opponent. Mikie landing a few cuffing cross punches around the top of Asuka's head. Neither able to grab control over the opening minute.

Landing a jab under the chin of Mikie; Asuka steps in with a right hook on the jaw of her opponent bto turn her head. Asuka working back Mikie to the ropes as she plugs away to the torso of the former Front Street Japan fighter. Mikie needing to push off Asuka as she looks to move back into space.

But Kuramochi is keeping the heat on Mikie. Stepping inside to work, Asuka is slamming in the harder punches, she has Mikie herded towards the ropes. Mikie keeps giving nudges to Asuka before she lands short hooks to try to dissuade her foe. The round comes to an end with Asuka staring at Mikie with hands on her hips, trying to show her whose the boss in this ring. Mikie shakes her head before walking around her.

Round 2:
They exchange more stiff jabs, Asuka continues to look to dip down to keep the pressure on the body of her rival. Mikie steps to the left side of Asuka, landing a jab/straight into the face of Asuka. Mikie starting to get her rhythm going as she starts to move more side to side.

Asuka misses with an overhand left as Mikie leans out the way. A counter right lands square into the face of Asuka to knock her head back. Mikie drives back her rival into a neutral corner as she is catching Asuka more through her gloves to her face. Asuka clinches up with Mikie to slow her momentum. Both grinding their bodies against each other as Mikie presses Asuka into the turnbuckles.

Broken apart so they can resume. Asuka comes back at Mikie as she quickly steps inside. Going toe to toe on the inside, digging their fists into the others body as Asuka forces the issue in the final moments of the round. At the bell Mikie marches straight past Asuka to her corner, showing she is focused to win this. Asuka meanwhile is told of Kei to be careful not to get caught out by the more experienced fighter.

Round 3:
Stepping back out to resume fighting. They are landing more punches in bunches now. Asuka not crouching down as much as Mikie starts to thud in straight punches down to her forehead when she does so. Asuka landing several crisp hooks to the face of Mikie, showing her intentions to win this bout.

A push to the chest of Asuka opens up space between them. Mikie moving around to the right side of Asuka when a left hook comes from the smaller woman. A double jab slams around the right eye of Kuramochi to make her cry out. Asuka forced on her back foot as Mikie starts roaring forwards with a three punch combo straight into the face of Asuka drives her against the ropes.

Asuka looking a little ragged as she tries to fight her way off the ropes. Mikie landing the cleaner shots. Asuka needing to clinch up to stop Mikie, the fighters both hissing into each others ears as the referee steps in to split them up. Last twenty seconds sees both going toe to toe again as Asuka looks to be quick off the mark. Heads nearly clash just before the bell rings. Asuka taps her own cheeks as she gets back to her stool. Mikie meanwhile stares at her with a cold fury to her eyes.

Round 4:
Back at it they go with Asuka moving in more quickly, looking to force the issue as they exchange in close range. Mikie keeps giving nudges to Asuka to open up a gap, looking happier to work with space between them. Still Asuka catches Mikie with a left hook on her chin to turn her head, an uppercut to the body follows to make Hara groan out.

Driving back Mikie into her own corner. Asuka is pounding the body of Mikie to make her grimace, Mikie needing to hold onto Asuka now. A few insults fly between them in japanese. The referee pushing them apart as Asuka wants to get around the referee to get back at Mikie. They resume trading stiff single punches as Mikie is back on her toes on the move.

Crouching under a straight, Asuka comes over the top with a left hook. She then rams in a straight to the belly button of Mikie to make her gasp out. Mikie looking a little disheveled as she is bullied to the ropes. Asuka causing red marks to form on the body of Hara. The round comes to an end with Mikie breathing a little harder as she returns to her corner. Asuka sits with her gloves on her legs with a glare aimed at her opponent.

Round 5:
Pushing off their stools to resume fighting. Mikie is looking to get her rhythm going again but Asuka is right in her grill. Mikie trying to hold off her opponent but an uppercut sends her reeling onto her heels. MIKIE ON THE ROPES AGAIN WITH ASUKA STEPPING TO MIKIE'S RIGHT SIDE, SLAMMING IN A VICIOUS RIGHT HOOK INTO THE LIVER AREA OF MIKIE! DOWN SHE GOES ONTO ALL FOURS!

Asuka raises her arms in the air before walking over to the neutral corner. 1....2....3....4... Mikie spits out her gumshield as she rolls to her left side, holding her stomach as she is sobbing with her eyes shut. 5....6....7... Cheeks are flush red as she is panting. 8....9....10 that's where she stays as she is counted out!

Winner Asuka Kuramochi KO Round 5

After:
It looks like we have seen a changing of the guard here tonight! Mikie is down and Asuka moves to stand over her. The winner placing her right foot onto the cheek of Mikie, arms in the air to show the world who the ace of Japan is now. Maybe a future world champion is emerging here.

The referee has to herd Asuka away from Mikie so Miyada can go check on her fighter. Hamada is grinning at ring side as things certainly seem to be going in the right direction now she has found her new face of the stable. Asuka getting a pat on the back from Kei.

After a few minutes where Mikie is sitting on the canvas with an ice pack on her stomach, she finally stands to a respectful round of applause. Eyes down though as she is understandably depressed to have lost this personal clash. To lose to Asuka has to hurt on so many levels.

Mikie steps out the ring with help from her coach. Ignoring Asuka and especially Hamada. Just walking slowly to the back with the ice pack on her stomach. This will sting for awhile, it will be interesting to see if Mikie can find her feet again as the old Mikie that dominated the flyweight division seems long gone.

Inside the ring Asuka is cleaned down and has her gloves off. She heads to the center of the ring to get her left arm raised in victory, her coach and manager standing behind her chatting away with smiles adorning their faces. Asuka getting a loud cheer from her supporters as she looks on the path to success at the highest level.

Bowing to each side of the ring to show her respect to the fans. Asuka soon leaves the ring with her crew. Hamada telling her that she will take her to the top if she keeps performing like this. Could she become the latest world champion from the land of the rising sun?
