Maddie Ziegler (19, 5’5 ½, 114 lbs, 3:1 FCBA, The Dollhouse) Vs. Madison Beer (23, 5’5, 109 lbs,10:10 FCBA, Lookout! Boxing)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse
BEFORE: Rookie Maddie Ziegler looking ready and confident in the press conference prior to her next outing in the ring, with the culmination of all her hard work over the past few months resulting in tonight’s final match on her developmental contract with the Dollhouse. There’s good reason the prospect is feeling this brightly about her future: she’s won every single fight since that sole loss to Avril Lavigne back in her FCBA debut fight at the start of the year, and each one of those victories has been achieved with the young dancer needing no more than 5 rounds to finish her opponent off. "So, this is my last fight on my current contract with the Dollhouse and I'm glad Madison accepted my challenge,” Maddie says earlier during the pre-fight press junket. “I think we have a good matchup going and beating her would be a nice way to end my test run with the Dollhouse. I'm sure she'll give me a good fight though. She kinda has to. She lost her last 4 fights. I think she knows she better step it way up tonight if she wants a chance at beating me. I’m ready for her."
The American dancer does indeed speak facts, with Beer now heading for an unfortunate trajectory if her fortunes do not improve. The once-rising Lookout! starlet is in real danger of being overshadowed by her younger, more famous co-star in Millie Bobby Brown, and needs to find her footing in the division with this current losing streak.
Beer, however, responds from across the press table with a chuckle. "Actually, Ziegler is exactly what I needed right now. A total newbie who thinks she's god's gift to boxing because she got fed a bunch of losers by her management. I literally laughed when she challenged me. Welcome to a real fight, Ziegler... finally! You're still a teenager. Got a lot to learn in there. So let me make one thing clear to you… You're the UNDERDOG tonight. Better remember that. I've done this a lot more times than you did. And you know… I'm going to LOVE ruining your perfect little record tonight and showing Carmen and your entire team who's the best Madison in the FCBA."
Big words from both Madisons, who square off moments later on stage. Maddie’s lean and mean physique is countered by a similar build from Beer, who looks almost as toned despite being a little more curvy, with both girls definitely showing off plenty of time spent in the gym this past month. Other than that, both fighters are about the same height. The staredown on stage is fierce but quiet, with both Madisons standing face to face, hands on their hips, almost touching forheads, raven haired beauty starring right into the stunning blonde for a few long silent moments before they are both pulled apart and separated. Luckily - with no further incident.
Fight night rolls around and Beer is first to march into the arena, looking stunning in a shiny silver bikini top and black short tights. She’s wearing black boxing gloves, and her black hair tied up neatly into a ponytail out back. Madison makes her way to the ring with a confident smirk, accompanied by her team as she exchanges a few high-five with her fans along the way before climbing into the ring and walking over to her corner, where she begins stretching with the help of the ropes. Ziegler is out next, and the young blonde has gone for a more simplistic but no less blood-pumping turquoise sports bra and knee length white tights. She’s wearing white gloves on her hands and her hair long blonde hair is tied in a bun. Maddie makes her way to the ring looking focused on the task ahead, wastes little time with pleasantries except for shooting a few smiles to her many fans along the way to the ring.
Few minutes later after Maddie has taken to her corner with both young girls in the ring now, the referee calls them to the center. No touch of the gloves tonight though, as they listen to the referee’s rules before quietly turning back to their respective corners. Lots on the line for both fighters, most definitely, with Maddie’s promising future and Madison’s dark present proving to be plenty of motivation to win. Referee signals for the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!
ROUND 1: It’s a must-win for Maddie in order to complete her clean sweep of her five-fight contract and it shows. The younger blonde moves in with focus and purpose, slamming several punches into Beer’s arms but deliberately staying at a distance so that Beer can’t surprise her with a sudden clap-back. Beer is content to take those early shots to her guard, her arms receiving the brunt of lefts and rights and the occasional hook, but nothing really too damaging. It’s when Beer decides to lunge back at Maddie does the fight start getting more interesting: Maddie easily side-steps or swerves her head back to avoid damage before making the brunette pay with a return hook to the chin or into the side of her head, which draws an audible gasp from Beer in the second minute. Beer is underestimating her foe’s agility and resolve, continuing to overpressure Ziegler backwards but doesn’t realise she’s the one who’s slipping out of control by the time the bell rings, and Ziegler lands a final punch to her nose to snap her pretty head back and take the round with some impressive footwork and body control.
ROUND 2: Maddie’s respect for her opponent’s skill is also on display: the young dancer refuses to chase after Beer even after landing several more shots to her nose and lips, which drive her a few steps towards the ropes. Beer is still as dangerous, as evident by her fast and re-formed stance and both arms locked over her chin to protect from further damage. Beer returns fire whenever Ziegler gets in too close, but thankfully, those punches are easily taken on the prospective Doll’s arms, and only a couple of errant shots make it past Ziegler’s arms to chip off the top of her head or body. Beer’s punching a little more this round, but also taking an equal amount in damage, managing to even the scoreboards late into the third minute when she intercepts an overhand from Maddie with a raised arm before snapping an uppercut into the base of the American’s chin to daze her slightly. Overall, it’s an effective draw, and tenser stand-off, but the night and fight are both still young, as are these two competitors.
ROUND 3: Maddie’s playing it safe still, her arms hovering over her chin and a left hand poised to jab at Madison’s face once she sees a clear target presenting itself. Beer, however, appears to be deliberately leaving her body open to attack, as Maddie shoots and fires her punches at mid-range with bunches to the stomach and chest, drawing dull grunts from Beer in the first minute. In the second, however, a low hook from Maddie bounces off of Madison’s taut tummy and the blonde takes a NASTY swipe across the face when Beer had one of her fists already primed and pulled back to unleash a hook of her own - POW! It snags Maddie on the side of the face and half-rotates her about. Ziegler’s fans are immediately up-in-arms, shouting at their girl to be more careful in there, or else suffer the consequences. Maddie’s hurt but seems to shake it off, plays it cool till the end of the round, pawing at Madison’s head from afar but that ain’t gonna score her any points to make up for it. Beer comes out on top this time, keeping the pressure on her foe for the entire three minutes. But one has to wonder if her win this time was due to pure dumb luck, or otherwise.
ROUND 4: Both girls want the win, and it shows! A mutual march to the centre of the ring in the opening seconds, with Maddie and Madison both bouncing fast on their feet before lunging at each other with their fists! Madison is clearly enjoying being the aggressor, and heavens knows how much of it she needs to push herself over the finish line tonight and break that losing streak. She slams a hard cross into the centre of Maddie’s arms, then another one clean to the midsection to momentarily stun her in place. Ziegler, however, still looking sharp, grunts as her toned body takes another hook from the side, but then is quick to land her own ammunition off Beer’s chin and nostrils, to throw her foe’s accuracy further off-target for any follow-up. Girls take turns punishing each other back-and-forth, with one girl landing several punches off the flank or arms but then quickly taking a return barrage to the same area in tandem, leaving either breathing hard and circling warily as the bell finally rings. As expected, it’s a comfortable draw between both parties, as Maddie and Madison shoot each other glares before heading back to their corners.
ROUND 5: Maddie’s patience, however, does pay off in the end: the first minute sees several more failed attempts to loosen her foe’s lead, as Beer comes streakin’ in like she owns the place more than once. Beer is pushing herself past her comfort zone, pestering Maddie with several jabs to the head before digging low and stiff hooks to her ribs and sternum. Maddie, however, quickly catches onto the pattern, absorbing most of these hits in the first minute and then catching Beer back with a step-in blast to the cheek, which swivels her head with a loud grunt! Beer stumbles, but still not opting to retreat, instead taking another swing at Maddie’s head, to no avail, as the hook sails harmlessly by. Ziegler pays her back with another crunching hook to the stomach, which makes her lurch from the impact, then continues to rock her with more lefts and rights to her waistline, every gut shot driving her further back towards the ropes. Beer almost hits the ropes there, but is thankfully saved by the bell soon after, and the raven haired singer gets to fight another round!
ROUND 6: Maddie finally braves the deeper waters, wading in early to look for a potential KO attempt. The prospective Doll has made enough waves, she thinks, and won enough rounds, to start thinking about the end-game and how she’d like nothing more than to end her developmental contract with one hell of a statement tonight. This round is already one round in duration more than her usual fights, with Ziegler feeling a little impatient now that Beer’s still standing and breathing opposite from her in the ring. This time, she initiates: jab combos fired at Beer’s head to soften her up further, before targeting her body with straight hands to pierce and prod the belly. Beer’s in trouble, for sure, getting rocked and pummeled for the first two minutes of the round, her head snapped back with every crunch of leather to the lips, then forced into a retreat when Maddie folds her over with another hook tucked into the stomach mid-way. But Beer seems to be holding her ground just as well as the previous rounds, when the tables had been turned. She protects her chin with a well-locked guard, then slowly exerts her power by nailing Maddie with a hook to the side of her head at the start of the third minute, which surprises the American dancer out of the blue. And before Ziegler can react, another hook crashes in from the side, and then another, as Beer suddenly lights the newcomer up with her last bit of reserves!! Maddie’s suddenly getting pushed around in there, sent back towards the ropes, as Beer UNLOADS on her with equal malice! Ziegler takes a payback shot to her side tummy before getting ROCKED to the side by another well-placed hook to the chin! UGH!! This spells trouble for the young blonde, as Beer wades in after her, shocking her over and over again to the body and arms, till Maddie LOSES her balance and COLLAPSES down to the side by the ropes, utterly overwhelmed by Beer’s firepower! It’s a KNOCKDOWN for Madison Beer, and the Dollhouse corner is completely taken aback by this sudden and unexpected snaffu!
Beer is already strutting to the neutral corner with her patented smirk, raising her fists in the air and letting her curvy body do the talking. Unfortunately for her, Ziegler is quick to recover, first pushing her chest off the ground and then slowly using the ropes to steady herself on both feet. Quite the scare there for Maddie, who perhaps hasn’t had the fear flashing through her eyes ever since that first loss to Avril Lavigne back in her debut at the start of the year. Well, now, she still has another four rounds to prove she’s still in this! Can she do it though?!
ROUND 7: Beer certainly doesn’t think so, that smug smirk still on her face as the bell rings to begin the seventh, a first time for Ziegler in her short career. The Lookout! starlet has thus far pushed Maddie way past her comfort zone and has victory in her sights if she manages to hold onto her momentum for this last quarter. First minute, however, and it’s clear that Beer is also a spent carton of alcohol, marching in at half-speed and then taking more half-hearted swings at Maddie from a distance. It’s the combination of her growing exhaustion and luck from prior rounds, now all dried up as she wastes energy trying to nail Ziegler with the odd hook or overhand attack to the forehead. Maddie, however, is still going strong, spending the first minute hanging back and protecting herself with some very impressive footwork, but then counterattacking in subsequent minutes with fast, snappy jabs and hooks shoved into Beer’s face, to rack up the points for herself. Maddie may not be playing the absolute aggressor this round, but it’s her and her alone who’s scoring points off Beer’s face and body, with Beer letting out a final grunt before getting spun towards the ropes right after Ziegler landed a left hand off her temple, then another hook which snagged her on the chin. Shutout round for Miss Ziegler, though it ain’t no knockdown to her name just yet.
ROUND 8: Beer ain’t looking too fancy, a slow waltz out of her corner when the bell rings a sharp contrast to Ziegler’s spirited and assertive march forward. The blonde dancer looks like she’s smelling blood in the water folks! Beer spending the first minute trying to intercept more of Maddie’s incoming fire, as the younger blonde takes deliberate pot-shots at her face, chest and body. Beer can’t defend everything all at once, grunting as the odd cross hand sinks straight into her sternum to bowl her over, or flattens her bikini top with a squeal, Ziegler herself easily swerving to avoid any counter-blow from herself. Beer is slowly getting pushed back to the ropes, with Ziegler upping the aggression and quickly pouring in the abuse, ramping up the frequency of her attacks, and their potency. She nails Madison on the side of her ribs again with a dashing low hook, which makes her howl and fold off to the side, barely fending off another one that was aimed for her chin. Referee’s already hovering nearby, just in case Beer decides to call it quits there and then by stopping to defend herself. But Ziegler powers inwards still, SHE’S FEELING IT! a methodical left hook smacked across the arms to send Beer reeling and spinning down the line, before another and ANOTHER big overhand CRASH into her frame with enough force to fell a lesser woman. Beer can’t resist the sheer tenacity and surprising power of her adversary, gets SPUN on her heels by that last hook to the head and needs the ropes to save her, and MADDIE IS ALL OVER HER! Ziegler UNLEASHES with a barrage of at least 10 punches at blazing speed, BATTERING Beer’s face bloody! Madison’s takes a few too many clean punches to the face, unable to defend herself anymore against the blonde’s unrelenting machine-gun like attack, EATS one last hook to the jaw that shuts her off….Beer CRASHES down to the canvas near the ropes face-first! BEER IS DOWN AND POSSIBLY OUT! She slowly rolls onto her back with great difficulty, and then lies there, quite still, both arms splayed over her head with her mouth hanging open! Despite her dire condition…the referee gives her the benefit of the doubt, counting right till the end…9….10…and Beer ain’t getting up from this one! It’s all OVER!!
Official Decision: Maddie Ziegler defeats Madison Beer via KO8!
AFTER: Huge grin on Maddie Ziegler’s face as she raises her arms and turns around to face the fans to a standing ovation! She did it! A clean 5-0 sweep for the promising young dancer and now fighter as she finally knocks Madison Beer out in an epic fight that went 8 long rounds! Carmen Electra is right there, climbing into the ring and hugging her ecstatic young prospect, congratulating her on another great win and whispering some words into her ear, perhaps something about renewing her contract as a full time Dollhouse member now that she has beaten all opponents put in her way? Perhaps we’ll have to wait and find out about that.
For now though, as Beer’s team rush into the ring to revive their fallen fighter, a smiling Maddie is interviewed about her fight tonight. Grabbing the mic for herself, she has plenty to say:
“I’m very happy right now!” she starts, still catching her breath. “Madison was good, she’s no pushover…she got me in the 6th there for a second, but I knew she was slowing down after that… I knew she wouldn’t keep up with me if I stayed in the fight. Which I did. It took longer than I wanted but I’m pumped about knocking her out.” Maddie chuckles. “Thank you ref for not stopping me early.” She smiles. “I really wanted it. I wanted to end big!.”
Maddie getting some loud cheers from her fans who came to see her tonight as well as earning herself some new fans here tonight no doubt following her great performance.
“I’d like to thank my fans for showing up to support me, and I’d like to thank Carmen Electra and the Dollhouse for taking a chance with me and believing in me…..and training me….and everything! I’m glad I didn’t let you down….and I hope to become a fulltime roster member soon, if you’ll take me.” The fans immediately go wild at Maddie’s words with Carmen Electra seen smiling and nodding, seems like the Dollhouse CEO has already made up her mind about Ziegler’s future with the stable.
“I want to become the best flyweight in the FCBA. Boxing is awesome, I f*cking love it! Thank you!” Maddie finishes her speech to a standing ovation from everyone except some salty Beer fans, and marches out of the ring shortly after, accompanied by her big happy Dollhouse team, the victorious blonde in high spirits, taking selfies and hugging it out with her ecstatic fans along the way.
All the while, Madison Beer is still in the ring, being finally helped up and carried out of the ring by her team, the singer’s future is shrouded in darkness with her 5th straight loss dropping her record into the negatives for the first time ever at 10-11, and it remains to be seen if she can bounce back up before being released into free agency by her stable.
In stark contrast, Maddie Ziegler’s future is currently looking very bright after completing a 5 fight win streak. And with an almost guaranteed signing as the future of the Dollhouse’s flyweight division, we can’t wait to see what’s coming up for the gorgeous dancing (and now boxing) sensation.
Keep your eyes peeled as we eagerly await the inevitable official announcement from the Dollhouse! |
