BEFORE:
Next up on the agenda, Kat Winnick is having a mixed year thus far with a win over Jennifer Connelly back in April but then a prior loss to Eliza Taylor in Feb. She’s banking on herself being much improved for this fight with Evangeline Lilly, though, who bested her way back in 2019. Understandably, the Doll looks a little uncertain at the press event earlier that evening, but is still sporting a smile as reporters ask her questions:

“Last time we fought we went at it for 8 rounds....I think it was a great fight and I just wanted another shot at her. Having a win over someone as great as Evangeline on my record would be huge for me. I feel like I can do it tonight. It seemed like Evi was slowing down in 2020-2021 but this year she's back looking great with two wins already. Hopefully I can slow her down a bit tonight. May the best woman win!” Katheryn says with a smile and a nod.

Evangeline, on the other hand, doesn’t appear to be slowing down, with the illustrious 42-year-old spending the first half of this year battling back challenges from Norah Fisher and Rachel McAdams, and coming out on top.

“I remember that fight fondly - Kat really put in her all, and it was a darn shame there could only be one winner that night,” Evangeline speaks next from across the room. “I’m honestly glad that Winnick reached out again for a rematch. I’m still in the best shape of my life and career, so I hope she’s brought her A-game for round two.”

Ladies square off at the podium and it’s a battle of elite Bantamweight fighters, with Lilly coming in only slightly taller and two years younger, though the experience disparity might be the biggest differential here. But let’s not underestimate Kat Winnick - others have done so in the past and paid the price. Competitors pose and flex for the cameras before shaking hands, some mutual respect shown for each other regardless of the outcome tonight.

Hours later, we’re back in the arena and ready to continue this evening of non-stop celebrity boxing action. Winnick enters first, looking glamorous and angelic in her usual white fighting gear of sports bra and short tights, sporting similar colored gloves, with her blonde hair in braids. She waves enthusiastically to the crowd, before heading down the ramp towards the ring accompanied by her team and coach Loken.
Lilly strides in moments later to the pumping beat of rock music, a bright smile on her face accompanying a wave to the fans. The Lookout! starlet is wearing a black sports bra and blue boxing trunks, complete with blue boxing gloves, her dark hair in a bun.

Ladies meet in the centre of the ring and the referee is a little relieved when they acknowledge his order to touch gloves and head back to their corners. He gets the nod from both sides, and waves for the bell! HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
The usual stance for Winnick: arms up and firm, covering the lower half of her face, then marching in, ready to brawl with an old rival. Evangeline’s moving in in a similar fashion, huffing as the first jab combos sail in to snag the arms. Both women of course are looking for that elusive chin, which remains hidden behind the guard for now. Evangeline switches her stance up at the midpoint of the round, shooting punches in high and low, and landing several to Kat’s body to make her go into a retreat. But when Lilly tries to walk her down, she takes a return overhand straight to the arms, which dazzles her, before Winnick’s jabs continue bunching up the cheek to edge out the round by the bell. A good back-and-forth we had in this opening, though Kat certainly shows off just how much she’s learned since their last encounter.

ROUND 2:
Evangeline becomes more focused as a result, staying back in the first minute and tossing punches Kat’s way whenever the Doll gets in close enough. Winnick, still a little uncertain, weaves and leaps out of the way whenever one of Lilly’s mighty punches comes sailing in, but even she can’t escape the attacks forever. A right hand slams into the centre of her arms, dazing her, and then Lilly follows up with another cross driven into the mouth to snap her head back. Katheryn forces herself to be a bit more patient, controlling the rest of the action with several jabs to Lilly’s arms and head, trying to hold her at bay. Lilly’s lead becomes insurmountable, however, when she lands another hook to the blonde’s side in the final seconds, going for a feint high before shocking Kat directly to the system. The Doll might need to pull some other form of magic out of her hat if she wants this rematch to go her way.

ROUND 3:
Third round and elite Bantamweights circle once more, exchanging fire from a comfortable distance. Lilly knows she’s in the lead and is hanging back for now, waiting for Kat to make the first wrong move. Winnick not biting, however, squeezing shots in between Lilly’s arms to score points for herself with leather stinging the nose and lips. A jab here and another to the forehead lands, surprising Lilly with the Doll’s speed. Those Kat fans in the audience shout their approval as the Doll slowly beats back the former champion, one punch at a time. But Lilly isn’t one to be bullied, suddenly swerving to avoid a hook before blasting Kat back to the side of her temple, which sends her reeling. Winnick looks dazed, scrambling to cover up but having more trouble dealing with follow-up swings to either side of the head, as Lilly powers those hooks in left and right, trying to knock the big blonde off her feet. But Winnick keeps herself afloat, suffering some damage there, but then managing to get herself clean out of range. Close round overall, but Lilly shows us what a champ she is by beating her way back from a loss.

ROUND 4:
Katherine stays back this time, pounding away on Lily’s guard as the Lookout! starlet comes in to try and finish her foe off. Evangeline with not much success, however, trying to dazzle Kat with her power but her bigger hooks are hitting the air most of the time. Kat’s defences are up and firm, her head fully in the game and swerving this way and that to avoid those attacks. In turn, Winnick’s lunging back, snagging the chin with a hook left, another banging in from the right as she rocks Lilly’s head off to the side. Lilly looks surprised by Winnick’s power, opting to stay back in the final minute. Winnick looks to be in tip top fighting shape, spurred on by her fans at her back, and she maintains her lead for the rest of the round by chasing Lilly with jabs to her head.

ROUND 5:
Lilly’s hanging back, looking a little more wary now that Winnick is pressuring her a little more often. Winnick smells blood, keeping her head low and bobbing light, before rocking her opponent to the arms and body with a step-in cross. Evangeline’s still not battling back besides the odd jab to Winnick’s head to try and deter her advancement. But the Doll keeps coming in, chin dipped and blasting away at the brunette’s body, breaking down Lilly’s arms with heavy hooks thrown inwards and under the arms. Lilly gets bullied to the ropes and then smothered into it, protecting her head at all costs with her arms, but that’s not stopping Winnick from chipping away at her toned midsection and bulging forearms. Winnick reaches around the guard to connect with another hook to the side of the head, and DOWN EVANGELINE GOES, getting knocked off her feet with that killer attack! Lilly collapses down to her side near the ropes, her eyes and mouth hanging open in shock, and it’s the first KNOCKDOWN of the evening from Katheryn Winnick! Could it be the last?!

Winnick nods to the fans, smiling widely as she circles back to the neutral corner. Lilly is already on her way back up, one foot steadying herself at a time but then fully recovering by the count of 8. There’s still two minutes left on the clock, so let’s see how badly Winnick wants the win here… Bell rings and the Doll comes in hot, hoping to make a statement and possibly win this thing within five rounds. Lilly’s turtled up by the ropes, knows she can’t outrun the fast-moving freight train headed her way, and opts to weather the assault instead. Winnick slams punches into her from a distance and then leaps in to try and finish her off with a head-spinning hook aimed high, but Lilly ducks and swerves to save her own skin, making it to the bell to fight another round. Girls also get into multiple clinch attempts along the way, pressing each other into the ropes until the referee can finally separate them. It’s Winnick’s round through and through by the time the bell rings, though she’d probably wanted to end the fight there and now.

ROUND 6:
Winnick’s all-out push has significantly sapped her of energy, though, and she spends the first minute alone just staying back and catching her breath. Lilly ain’t in much better shape, but the Lookout! starlet is making more and more forays inwards, slamming punches into Winnick’s arms and body to regain her honor. Lilly senses an opportunity to strike while the iron is hot, bashing Kat back with another straight hand catching her on the stomach, which drives the wind from her body. Winnick’s in full retreat, sending back jabs to Evangeline’s head, and wondering where this second wind of hers came from outta nowhere. It’s Lilly’s turn to exert herself now that Katheryn looks all dried up, banging another overhand off the Doll’s forehead before sending her reeling off to the side with a hook slammed into the ribs from the side. Lilly not looking for that takedown attempt just yet, still biding her attempt in this second half of the fight. A wide round swings back to her by the bell, keeping her hopes alive for a full redemption arc.

ROUND 7:
Katherine comes forth with more confidence than before, both arms hovering loose and immediately resuming her jab combos to drive Lilly away from her space. But the former champ has renewed vigor in her own steps, blocking and absorbing the first flurries with her forearms before nailing the Doll back on the nose with a right crosser, another and another suddenly bashing into Kat’s frame and not all of them are getting intercepted by the big blonde. Winnick takes another stiff hand to the nose, getting driven back a couple of steps each time, and no amount of return fire is stopping Lilly from marching in to mop up! Evangeline catches her with another shot across the bow, sending her spinning clear into the ropes, and the Doll is still heaving on the ropes as Lilly gets into her face and has her way with her, lean brunette sending thumping uppercuts into her sides and then slamming a final hook up high and to the kisser! Winnick groans, stumbling for a bit before falling backwards to hit the ground hard! It’s a brutal revenge KNOCKDOWN for Evangeline Lilly, who’s roaring her victory in the aftermath and pumping her fists on the way back to neutral corner!

Winnick takes some time to recover, shaking her head multiple times on the ground before pushing herself to all fours, grunting in contrast with the referee’s steady count echoing by her side. The crowd is honestly split by this grand spectacle, with Lilly poised for a comeback win, but a majority still rooting for the under-Doll to have her revenge. Winnick does recover by the count of 8, but still looks a little woozy on her feet as she nods to the referee that she wants to continue.

Another two minutes left on the clock, just like the last time before, and HERE COMES LILLY at the sound of the bell, with sustained fire in her eyes! Katheryn barely has time to get out of the corner before the first overhand sails back in and blasts her badly to the centre of her arms, throwing her off into the ropes once more. Evangeline bullies her way in close and starts blasting away with every ounce of her remaining strength, and Winnick needs to hold on if she wants to make it out of this round alive! She gets caught by another lunge under the arms and to the body, which folds her over in half with a guttural grunt. Evangeline is showing LITTLE mercy here, crowding close and shoving those weathered arms of Kat apart in order to create more space for her incoming fists. Lilly SHOVES her glove in, forehead pressed to forehead, her left hand holding Winnick up by her shoulder, right fist packed into the heaving blonde’s belly over and over again, as Katheryn lets out groans of pain, her mouth hanging open, eyelids fluttering, and worst of all, making NO attempt to get herself outta this predicament! The referee allows a couple more uppercuts to sink into her lower belly before finally LEAPING in to save Winnick’s wilting body from serious damage! That’s it, folks! It’s unfortunate, but Kat’s attempts at revenge tonight have been halted via a body TKO7!

Official Decision: Evangeline Lily defeats Katheryn Winnick via TKO7!

AFTER:
Lilly steps back and turns around with her arms raised, smiling at the crowd as Winnick collapses to the mat in the ref’s arms, her gumshield flopping out of her mouth as she coughs and groans on her hands and knees hugging her battered midsection.
Evangeline a good sport, stops her celebration short to check on her hurting opponent, hovering over the blonde and signaling for her team to get in there and tend to their fighter asap.

The Dollhouse team roll Katheryn to her back on the mat, where the blonde is treated for several long minutes before finally being able to sit down, to some loud encouragement from the crowd and Evangeline herself.
The brunette Hall of Famer continues her excellent year with her 3rd win in a row which is also her second win over Katheryn Winnick, who will probably opt not to challenge her again anytime soon after tonight.

The gracious winner helps the defeated blonde to her feet after the Doll has finally recovered enough, and the two actresses hug it out in a mutual display of respect to some loud cheers from both their fanbase.

Evangeline leaves the ring shortly after accompanied by her team, the brunette has proven she is still in top shape and one of the best around with a clean 3-0 record for the year despite a disappointing run last year. She’s all smiles as she takes her victory march out of the arena, high fiving her fans along the way.

It’s a disappointing result tonight for Winnick however and the blonde certainly shows it on her face as she leaves the ring herself shortly after, looking deflated in both body and spirit after suffering a decisive TKO tonight.
Her record for the year drops to 1-2, but... there is still plenty of time to prove she still has what it takes to compete in the upper echelon of the division before the year is over. Hopefully she’ll be doing just that in the months to come!.
