Before:

Elizabeth Olsen was one of the most feared fighters of 2021 and put together a lethal winning streak that saw her win the bantamweight title after ten years in the FCBA, but the brunette lost her title last month and lost to ex-stablemate Brie Larson on the beach. Anya herself went undefeated in 2021, winning all nine of her bouts, but is 2-2 in 2022. A win against Elizabeth would catapult the young redhead into title contention.

The pre-fight press conference is civilized, with both girls complimenting their foe. Anya starts, “Lizzie spent a decade in the FCBA chasing after that title and spent two years in the middle of her career as a free agent. If anyone deserved it, she did. Tonight, I’m going to test myself against one of the best girls in the FCBA, and I’m going to prove that I can be one of the best girls in the league.”

Olsen responds by complimenting her foe, “Anya has made a name for herself despite only having little more than a year with a stable. She will win the title one day, but today, I’m going to prove I am still the better fighter.”

Both girls make their way into the arena. ATJ wears a blue sports bra and matching trunks with white gloves and Olsen wears a crimson sports bra with black trunks and gloves. The actresses thunk their gloves together and the bell rings for ten rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Anya and Elizabeth start out by circling each other, and the taller Anya goes to her jabs as Lizzie gets her guard up early. Olsen does a good job blocking her foe’s blows, but the bigger girl works the former champion into the ropes early. Lizzie hangs tough and gets the clinch to force a break, and she gets the separation from her foe. Taylor-Joy establishes her jab again but this time Olsen starts to find her counters back. Lizzie with a quick right into Anya’s mouth on an unclean jab helps the brunette knock the redhead back, and the Avenger follows up with a strike to her foes body. Anya recovers and slugs a right into Liz’s chest and knocks the older girl back again, and Anya goes back to the jab. Taylor-Joy bounces most of her blows off of Olsen’s guard, but the redhead connects with a pair of rights at the end of the round into the brunette’s face to win the first round on points, wide.

Round 2:
Olsen wary of the bigger girl to start the round and Taylor-Joy shoots out rights and lefts that bounce harmlessly off of the older girl’s guard. Lizzie quick to work in close and hammer Anya’s body, but the redhead isn’t going down without a fight and she drills the brunette back with a right into her ribs. Olsen retreats to avoid a slugging war with the younger girl, and the bigger girl swings and misses with a left. Olsen tags ATJ’s face with a pair of strikes before stepping back out of the redhead’s range again, and Taylor-Joy realizes her foe’s plan. Anya feints hard with her right and Elizabeth falls for the fake. The redhead drives a left into the brunette’s mouth and Lizzie covers up as Anya pounds her guard before Olsen is able to find a clinch for the break. The red steps in and pulls the two girls apart before the bell rings.

Round 3:
ATJ and Liz start the third by falling into their respective rhythms, ATJ with her jabs and Liz with her counters. Anya lands a right to start the round and she follows up with a left, but Elizabeth is quick to clinch and force a break. Taylor-Joy goes for a left out of the break, but Olsen is ready and she Avenger blocks the blow and chops the younger actress in her mouth and retreats. Anya swings with a right that Elizabeth dodges and replies with two blows into Anya’s nose, drawing a trickle of blood. Taylor-Joy giving up ground as on comes Olsen, the brunette sticking to body shots and doing consistent damage to her opponent. Anya clinches, but the break is brief as Lizzie goes right back on the assault and knocks Anya into the ropes. Olsen with a pair of blows before the bell rings, and Olsen takes the lead on points.

Round 4:
Anya told to use her size between rounds and she starts off the fourth strong, bullying the smaller girl backward. Elizabeth struggling to plants her feet and trade back, and the brunette clinches to force a break early. The ref separates the two girls and Olsen finds a pair of quick strikes out of the break, but Taylor-Joy starts slugging back and catches Olsen in her chin. Lizzie drops back and Anya goes for her body, the brunette wincing as the redhead drives her back. Olsen with a good left as her back touches the ropes and she gets back to the center of the ring. Lizzie shoots out a left jab, but ATJ dodges the blow and crushes a right across Olsen’s jaw and the brunette staggers backward, her gloves up to protect her head. The bell rings to save the former champion, but Anya may have shifted the fight with that strike.

Round 5:
Anya surges out of her corner and she’s absolutely bullying the former champion, slugging lefts and rights into Elizabeth. Taylor-Joy with a strike to Olsen’s mouth that draws blood and knocks the older actress into the ropes. Anya with a left into Lizzie’s midriff that drives the air out of the older girl’s lungs and the Fates girl is forced to clinch for the break. Anya is quick out of the break and tags Liz’s body with a right to her chest. Olsen counters with a quick right-left combo that catches Taylor-Joy by surprise and knocks the redhead back, but the redhead plants her feet and drives a response of her own into Lizzie’s ribs. Elizabeth just covering up as Anya pounds her body and the Fates girl clinches for respites. The bell rings to end the round and ATJ is in control of the fight.

Round 6:
Olsen knows she has to get back into the fight and starts out aggressively, feinting lefts and rights at Taylor-Joy and landing a pair of blows into the younger girl’s flank. ATJ pounds Lizzie back in the trades, focusing on the older girl’s head and wearing her down. Elizabeth with a right hook that Anya avoids and the redhead crushes an uppercut into the brunette’s jaw! Olsen stumbles backward and Taylor-Joy connects with two rights and down goes Olsen! Anya on the verge of the win of her career as Lizzie shakes her head as the ref is counting. The Fates corner screams at the former champion to get up and the brunette slowly gets to her feet to beat the count. The ref gives her the mandatory and waves Anya back in. ATJ goes body on Olsen, but the brunette plants her feet and swings back, connecting with a right into the redhead’s jaw and following up with a blow to her chest. The bell rings and ATJ takes the sixth round on points.

Round 7:
Lizzie told to sharpen up between rounds while Anya is told she’s on the cusp of earning a title opportunity. Taylor-Joy comes out swinging but Olsen’s guard is up to the task, blocking the worst of the redhead’s blows and forcing the bigger girl to go for her body. Olsen lets Taylor-Joy get in close before the brunette fires a lightning fast short right into the redhead’s jaw and ATJ stops in her tracks! Lizzie follows up with a left to her jaw and Anya’s legs give a shimmy and now the redhead is in full retreat! Olsen showing off her strength as she powers blows into Taylor-Joy’s midriff and drives the air out of the younger girl’s lungs before splitting her guard with a right. ATJ’s guard opens up and Lizzie connects with a one-two punch of her own that sends Anya to the canvas. ATJ reaches for the ropes as the ref starts to count and she grabs on at five, but can’t pull herself up by ten! Your winner by KO7, Elizabeth Olsen!

After:
Olsen bounces back after losing the belt a month ago and losing to her ex-stablemate Brie Larson in the Princess on the Beach tournament. The brunette takes off her gloves and catches her breath after the fight. Anya is helped to a stool by the LMW staff and Elizabeth goes over to embrace the younger fighter after she gathers herself. Lizzie grabs Anya’s hand and raises it, and the two girls embrace again as the crowd applauds the exchange. The two girls leave the ring at the same time, the two clearly on good terms.

“Anya is a tough fighter,” Elizabeth tells the press, “She had me early. She will win it all one day. But today, I came out the better girl. When she wants a rematch, she knows where to find me.”

Taylor-Joy talks to the press minutes later, “I thought I had her early,” Anya says. “I will be back and I will put the division on notice.”
