Intro:
International clash here as America and England fighters step up against each other. Sophia Bush and Vicky Pattison are both trying to find some momentum. Which one can grab some by taking the other down here tonight in Cardiff's BBU Arena.

Heading into the bout. There is extra intrigue as last month in the FCBA, the trouble within the Girls Friday bantamweight corps. Kaya Scodelario seems to be the center of the trouble, arguing with bantamweight coach Hilary Swank, getting into it with Sophia Bush. Which led to them fighting last month, Sophia getting knocked out by Kaya.

That has led to questions to Sophia. Journalists sometimes trying to catch her and others going into the Girls Friday gym. One of the days in the build up to this bout, Sophia stops as she takes off her sunglasses, wearing a black hoodie, black yoga pants and trainers. Yelling "look my issue with Kaya is to do with me, nothing to do with you!" Storming into the gym. With Kaya not seen for the whole month.

While Vicky does an interview on TV to hype up the PPV. When asked about Sophia and the stables troubles, Vicky just laughs. She tells the interviewer "I don't give a damn about their troubles. I don't do school yard dramas, I'd simply kick both their arses." With a big grin.

Vicky then says "Sophia should only be focused on me. I am coming to kick her arse and if Maisie f**king Smith can get a title shot again, well I deserve another shot. I won't be denied by a bad actor." Putting her name in the hat for another BBU bantamweight title bout. Though that is probably a lot chance of happening.

Fight night. Sophia comes out with Taryn Terrell working her corner. Sophia looks like she wants to use Vicky as her punching bag judging by her expression. She steps into the ring wearing a black sports bra with white stripes down the sides, matching trunks, black gloves and shoes, her hair is tied into a braid as she climbs into the ring. Taryn taps Sophia's gloves as she tells her "tonight is simply about you." With Bush nodding to her.

Vicky now comes out with her coach to her right side. She bangs her gloves together with a grin, looking confident that she has caught Sophia at the perfect time. She steps into the ring wearing a black sports bra with gold trim, matching shoes, gold coloured trunks with her surname in black on the waistband, gold gloves and her hair tied into a ponytail. She shadow boxes to get into the zone.

They jog to the center of the ring with Sophia bouncing on her toes, Vicky smirking as she has hands on her hips. The referee finishes their instructions before both slam their gloves into their opponents set. Jogging back over to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Out they come with both jabbing away as Sophia looks to step on the inside. Vicky lands a few hooks to keep Sophia guessing how to close that distance. With a straight into the forehead of the American to snap her head back. Vicky looking keen to take the fight to Sophia, wanting to make a statement.

Sophia crouches under a straight, ramming in two short rights into the belly of Vicky. Showing she isn't here to be bulldozed by her taller opponent. Both trading in close now as Sophia steps after Vicky. Who gives her a shove back to get the space back between them. Both trying to enforce their will on the other as they head towards the final minute.

Where Pattison catches Bush across her face with a right cross. Pushing Sophia to the ropes, Vicky doesn't look best pleased by the warning she gets for the shove. Pinning down Sophia as the former JMD champion tries to move out of danger. Instead Vicky is landing several punches around her guard to make the American grunt. At the end of the round Vicky is all smiles as she returns to her corner.

Round 2:
Back at it they go with both opening up more. Again though Vicky catches Sophia with a jab/right cross combo to turn the head of the older fighter. Vicky looks to have her sights set on an early night as she herds her opponent around the ring. Sophia landing a few solid single punches, problem for her is that the Geordie brawler is working harder then her.

Things get worse for Sophia when a right cross lands on her cheek. A double jab lands into her face to pin her back against the ropes. Vicky opening up on her till Sophia can clinch up with her. The referee stepping in as Vicky hisses insults about her opponent being just an old hag. Sophia looking furious at the lack of respect being shown to her.

Just under a minute to go, Vicky maybe getting too lax as an overhand left smacks her across her jaw, Sophia powers forwards now to muscle Vicky to the ropes. Her punches are close to the waistband of Vicky's trunks. Leading to the English lass complaining as she wraps up Sophia in a clinch. Both are split up with a quick fire exchange just before the bell rings. Vicky shaking her head as she looks at the referee to warn Sophia, who isn't exactly pleased by the way that Vicky is acting.

Round 3:
Resuming with Vicky once again getting off the blocks quickly. Landing around the forehead of Sophia. A straight lands under the chin of Vicky as she loads up too much on her right. An overhand left again crashes onto the jaw of Vicky to twist her head to the side.

Sophia is definitely coming into the fight now. Whacking away at the torso of Vicky, who has to hold onto her to slow her momentum. Again looking at the referee to do something as her laser focus seems to have left her. Instead when they resume it is Bush faster off the mark with a jab square into her lips, crouching under a left hook to bury in a right to the belly button of Pattison.

Back to the outside part of the ring goes Vicky. Finding herself being smacked around her torso by Sophia. Vicky stands her ground but is mostly landing cuffing shots around the head of Sophia, leading to her dragging Sophia into a headlock as her frustration boils over. Referee giving Vicky a stern warning after breaking them up, not helping Vicky's mood whatsoever. The round ends with Sophia looking a little more relaxed, Vicky on the other hand nearly kicks her stool in a rage.

Round 4:
Sophia is coming on stronger as the round begins. Keep plugging away with straight punches as she moves her upper body more to try not to ship many punches in return. Vicky is loading up at times too much as her rage is getting to her. Leading to a double jab slamming into the lips of Vicky before a right cross hits her left cheek.

Pressing Vicky back into a neutral corner. Sophia plugs away at her body till she is held onto again. Vicky keeps her temper under control as the referee is watching closely. They are split up with Vicky taking a deep breath as her corner yells at her to calm down. Both women drilling punches into each others faces when they resume.

Vicky is allowing Sophia on more. Jamming a straight back into Sophia's face before landing a left hook that slices open a cut above the right eyebrow of Bush. That makes Vicky's eyes light up as she drills in several punches around it to make her foe cry out. Sophia not rushing in as much now as Vicky has a cruel smirk on her face. The round coming to a close with both women getting cleaned up.

Round 5:
Resuming with Sophia trying to move her head more to create space to work. Vicky though feints with a jab and lands a nasty looking left hook around the eye of Bush. Who cries out as there is visible swelling around the eye. More punches pound into the face of Bush to knock her backwards. UPPERCUT LANDS UNDER SOPHIA'S CHIN TO SEND HER DOWN TO HER BACK!

Vicky pounds her gloves together a she jogs to the neutral corner. 1....2....3....4... Sophia groans as she pushes up to a sitting position, feeling her right eye with her right glove and wincing. 5....6....7... Still Sophia finds the strength to push up to her feet. Raising her gloves to show she can fight on.

They start again but it is obvious that Vicky is slicing through the guard of Sophia with her punches. A clubbing right hook makes Sophia stumble back towards her corner. Vicky beats Sophia around her head as Bush isn't firing back as blood runs into her right eye from the cut above her eyebrow. THE TOWEL COMES IN FROM TARYN AS SOPHIA'S GUARD IS LOWERING AND SHE IS BEING BEATEN BADLY! THE REFEREE STEPS IN TO WAVE THE FIGHT OFF!

Winner Vicky Pattison TKO Round 5

After:
That was a depressing watch if you are a Sophia Bush fan. It isn't helped when Vicky shows her no respect by shoving her face with her right glove. Snarling "your coach robbed me of knocking your old arse out pet." Taryn gets in the ring and gives Vicky a shove to show she won't let Vicky chat sh*t about her friend and fighter, causing the referee to have to get between them.

Vicky heads back to her corner, almost needing to be reminded that she did actually win this contest. Vicky nods as she smiles back. Getting a drink and wiped down as she has taken a big scalp for her CV. Even if Sophia has seen better days clearly, Vicky is truly showing elite ability now.

In the opposite corner Sophia doesn't bother to argue her coach throwing the towel in. Getting patched up as she winces, her gloves resting on her legs as this has been a hard few months for her. We've seen her be in the dumps before but this time feels different. Taryn leaving her to her thoughts as she just works on cleaning her up.

Soon Vicky is up getting her right hand raised with a big grin. Telling the world "give me Sophia or that ginger minger Maisie! I am ready to take the title." Pointing at herself as she is fired up. Almost as if she could fight again right now.

All while Sophia is helped out the ring by Taryn. She has her head dipped down as she looks to be thinking about her future. Everything that has happened within her stable the past few months with Kaya won't have helped to say the least but tonight might have shown that she is too long in the tooth to really be a title contender any more.

Vicky on the other hand steps out the ring looking to the future. There are plenty of people who will love to try to shut her up as the brash Geordie doesn't seem to care what others think. This is all about her achieving what she set out to do when she joined the BBU several years ago. Everyone else is simply standing in her way.
