Intro:
Next up we have singer Jade Ewen and actress Ivana Baquero both meeting in the ring for the first ever time. Both have had impressive careers in the BBU but which one is simply the better fighter? We find out tonight.

Both women posted on their social media about the bout. Jade was the first to do so as she put "the comeback is on! Come watch me in Cardiff batter some mouthy Spanish s**t!" Showing she still has that nasty streak in her after being out the ring since 2021.

Ivana clearly annoyed posts in return "jade calling me a s**t? Look in the mirror darling on that front! You are f**king washed up. You get called a top fighter then hide indoors for the last two years. I am going to knock you out in round one!" A mighty bold prediction from the former champion.

All the insults back and forth have led to tonight as it is fight night in the BBU Arena!

First to come out onto the aisle is Jade with her coach Denise Lewis. Jade stares hard straight ahead as she looks in the mood to hurt Ivana. She steps inside the ring wearing a black lace bra and knickers set to match her gloves, hair tied into ponytail. She waves Ivana to come out and fight as Denise massages her shoulders from the ring apron.

Ivana doesn't make her wait too long as she walks down the aisle, wearing a red lace bra and knickers, yellow gloves and her hair tied into a braid. She has coach Taryn Terrell and cut woman Eva Carneiro behind her. Climbing into the ring, Ivana scowls over at Jade.

The referee waves the fighters to them at the middle of the ring. Both women are kept apart by the referee as a few choice words are exchanged. Both are hot tempered so when told to touch gloves they instead exchange a one word insult before walking to their corners. Once they are ready the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Out they step quickly to engage; slamming several punches into each others face when they are not missing in a hectic start to proceedings. Jade lands a jab square into the forehead of Ivana, followed by a right cross to make her retreat back a step. Ivana looking annoyed as Jade steps in looking to take her head off. Ivana dodging and landing a few clean shots back into the chest of her foe to make her grit her gumshield.

After that energetic first minute of the round. Ivana looks to try to step inside but mistimes it as a left cross catches her on her jaw. Back towards the ropes goes Baquero as Ewen steps after her. While Ivana is doing her best to try to get off the ropes, Jade is keeping her on them with the cleaner punches in their exchanges. Marking the cheeks up of the former champion already.

Less then thirty seconds to go; Ivana dips under a straight and nearly headbutts Jade as she steps in with a right hook to her body. Things getting scruffy as Jade holds Ivana with her left arm and hits with her right, Ivana meanwhile pushes forwards and both trip over to the canvas, referee splits them up as they are pulled to their feet and warned to keep it clean.

A final flurry from both up until the bell gets the crowd cheering. They just about hold back when the round is over to go to their corners. Ivana told by Taryn to keep her cool as she looks pissed off. Jade not much calmer as she taps her toes.

Round 2:
Squaring up again quickly to start the action off. Jade is looking in good shape here with several solid cross punches at midrange landing. Ivana stabbing her punches more into the torso of her opponent before slipping a straight to land an overhand left to the ear of Jade to knock her to the left a step.

Now on comes Ivana with a look of pure fury. She is pounding at the body of her rival as she drives her onto the ropes. Jade swinging back but Ivana is crowding her, making her punches less effective to the ones hitting her abs. Jade needing to clinch with Ivana to slow her down, no trips this time as they get pushed apart.

Jade finding herself being herded near the ropes. She is looking a little more sloppy as Ivana out works her. Still the crowd are loving the intensity of both fighters as they let their hands go. The round soon ending with Ivana scowling at Jade, who tells her to try something as the referee gets between them and orders them to return to their corners.

Round 3:
Trading out the gates; Ivana looks to keep the pressure on but Jade looks to have cooled off and is landing some nice shots at midrange again. Near the end of the opening minute, Jade steps back when Ivana swings in a left cross, a counter right smacking Ivana near her left eye to make her cry out. There's a mouse under the left eye of the Spanish star as she gets whacked by a left/right hook combo to send her back onto her heels.

Suddenly Ivana looks in a spot of bother as she shells up. Jade looking to break her down with hooks to the body, causing Ivana to clinch up with her. Jade grinds her body into her foes as she presses Ivana to the ropes. They are split apart with Ivana staring hard at Jade.

But when they resume it is Jade pushing the pace. Ivana forced to cover up tightly as she takes another right near her left eye. Jade looking happy with her work when the round comes to an end. She certainly shut down Ivana in the round with the Girls Friday fighter looking a little down as she sits on her stool. Taryn needing to give her a pep talk.

Round 4:
Jade out the gates quickly as she looks to ram her fists through Ivana's face. Ivana moving her upper body more though to dodge and strike. With both women landing thudding shots at times the crack of leather heard around them. Jade nudging back Ivana to the ropes before whacking in a left/right hook combo to her face that makes Ivana clinch up with her. Some dirty boxing in the clinch as Ivana goes to work on Jade's kidneys with her left fist, Jade landing some rabbit punches behind her head with her right.

Resuming after being broken up. Jade looks to keep on the front foot but misses with a straight as Ivana dips under a lands a jab square into her belly button, Jade bending slightly before an overhand right slams across her chin to twist her head around. Momentum looks to have switched as Ivana now powers forwards with a flurry of body shots to make Ewen retreat backwards.

Pushing off Ivana to create space. Jade can't get much breathing room though as Ivana is keeping the heat on her. A right under the chin of Jade knocking her to her heels as Ivana drives her back into a neutral corner. Where she plugs away to the body. The round ends with Jade shoving Ivana in frustration and getting shoved back. The referee keeping them apart till their coaches rush in to herd them over to their corners as insults were flying and undoubtedly fists would have been if given the chance.

Round 5:
Things look a little slower as both have hurt the other; so neither as keen to just slug it out. Ivana though feints before landing a straight square into the lips of her opponent, Jade caught on the back foot when SHE TAKES A RIGHT IN HER SOLAR PLEXUS THAT WINDS HER! DOWN TO HER RIGHT KNEE GOES EWEN!

Ivana spits in Spanish for Jade to get up so she can really hurt her. Referee needed to nudge Ivana to the neutral corner. 1....2....3....4... Jade sucking in air as she scowls over at Ivana. 5....6... Ring rust finally maybe catching up to her. 7....8... She gamely stands back up, even if there's a clear wince on her face. The referee checks her over as she raises her fists to show she wants to fight on, allowing her to fight on.

It is becoming clear quickly though that she hasn't much spring to her step. Another right to the body has her hurting as she winces. Left/right hook to the chin wobbles her backwards as she doesn't seem to have much left in the tank. IVANA POUNDS THE PROUD JADE ONTO THE ROPES! A TOWEL IS THROWN IN FROM THE BEEVERS BABES CORNER! THEY HAVE SEEN ENOUGH AND SO HAS THE REFEREE AS THEY STEP IN TO STOP THE FIGHT!

Winner Ivana Baquero TKO Round 5

After:
As the bell rings an irate Ivana hammers in a right below the bell. Jade cries out and falls to all fours. Sobbing as she holds her right glove between her legs and Ivana barks "you got to take the easy way out bytch! I wanted to knock you out cold!" Taryn rushing to herd her back to her corner as Denise steps into the ring looking furious at the cheap shot.

Denise kneeling and caressing the hair of Jade as she checks on her. When she is able to Jade kneels with Denise wiping the tears away from her face. Her cheeks are flushed red as she stares over at the Girls Friday corner, where Ivana is getting her gloves off and given a drink.

Pushing to her feet gingerly; Jade moves to go for Ivana, who looks happy for a brawl with her. Both get hands in the others hair as they rush each other, crowd whistling and cheering till their coaches can break them up. Though both have a few strands of the others hair. Showing how much these two hate each other.

Out the ring steps Jade after Denise herds her to the ropes. Telling her that she'll get another crack at Ivana if she has her way. Jade throwing down the hair in her hands, storming off to the back wishing she could be let loose on Ivana right now but Denise is keeping her facing towards the backstage area.

In the ring Ivana calls Jade every bad word she can think of at that moment. Taryn calming her down as Eva gives her a hug. Soon that Latin temper does cool down to a simmer. She nods to Taryn that she is out now as the crowd certainly enjoyed the intensity between these two.

Over to the middle of the ring goes Ivana, getting her right hand raised in victory. She still looks a little miffed even after winning. Leaving the ring moments later with Taryn and Eva following, Taryn probably wishing her fighter was more focused on the flyweight championship bout later tonight then just Jade.
