SUPERHEROINES @ THE ASYLUM V: NEW BEGINNINGS PPV

BEFORE:

"People forget," says Jaimie with a shake of the head, "That I was thisclose to taking the title from Yustman. Eleven freaking rounds. THISCLOSE. And, you've got me in with a girl who's nothing more than average? Well. I'm going to show everyone why I was almost lightweight champion!"

"She's no one to take lightly," says Kennedy with a nod. "And, I won't be doing that. I WILL, however, be going OVER tonight."

ROUND ONE:
O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that is 'You Shook Me All Night Long' by AC/DC and here comes the lovely Jaimie Alexander!"

McCarthy: "Let me go on the record right now and say that I'm picking Alexander to win this fight! She's a real fighter and not a FRAUD!"

Cassie: "There's a shocker..."

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, SCABBO!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Jaimie into the ring and helped off with the robe, and she's looking PLENTY good in that red number if the crowd reaction is to be believed..."

Oh, the shark, babe

McCarthy: "I. WILL. SUE! This is grand theft song!"

Tess: "And, we're making up crimes now..."

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, and drink in the lovely Kennedy McMann as she climbs into the ring and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that lavender number we've seen before..."

McCarthy: "You couldn't fill out a FORM let alone a bikini, YOU FRAUD!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Aaaannndddd, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Kennedy..."

McCarthy: "And, I'm picking Jaimie and if she doesn't knock this fraud into next week, I might go up there and do it MYSELF!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Second straight split panel. Let's see who's right. Ladies set up at range, and no surprise there, as both of these fighters have reach and like to extend on their punches, and it's the older woman who's getting going early. Alexander wasting no time putting together some punches here..."

McCarthy: "And, she has that FRAUD on the back foot!"

O'Dell: "Does, indeed, and Jaimie doing her best to keep Kennedy there, pouring on the suppressive fire, backing up the younger woman, getting very, very aggressive now. McMann trying to manage, work the jab, slow this down, but she's in full retreat right now."

Tess: "Doesn't want to hold canvas...or can't."

O'Dell: "One of the two, because Jaimie's gone from being willing to fight at range to stepping to and backing Kennedy up over and over again. McMann on the receiving end of a thumping right now, and can't seem to get things going in the right direction. There's the bell. Jaimie and wide."

Cassie: "And, Alexander takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:
O'Dell: "Alexander aggressively after McMann, but Kennedy stopping her cold with some hard shot! McMann firing away now, giving it to the older woman, and now backing up Alexander! Younger woman has the range, and she's letting the hands go. Jaimie not hurt, but she's in reverse..."

Cassie: "Kennedy's really got it going all of a sudden..."

O'Dell: "Most definitely does. Complete turnaround from last round, as it's now Alexander on the back foot and McMann keeping her there with flurries of hard, accurate leather. Kennedy a GOOD right hand there, and that got Jaimie's attention, backing her up another step."

McCarthy: "Just ride this out. This FRAUD will make a mistake. Then make her PAY."

O'Dell: "McMann not making any at the moment. She's staying sound, playing good defense. Alexander landing the odd counter, but that's about it. Just a few seconds remaining in the second. Another good right from Kennedy, and there's the bell. Not close again, but, this time, McMann gets the points."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:
O'Dell: "Third round begins with the ladies working at range now. Kennedy not pressing this issue in this stanza. She's more than willing to box with now that she's taken the initiative back from Jaimie. Alexander, meanwhile, looking plenty comfortable on these terms as well..."

Tess: "No doubt about it. She's getting some work done."

O'Dell: "Nice, two-way round between brunette and redhead right now, as Alexander and McMann put together nice combinations. Some good defense being played, too, as punches are blocked and slipped. All in all some good stuff from both fighters right now..."

Cassie: "And nobody gaining much of an advantage..."

O'Dell: "That's for sure. Not a lot in it as we roll into the final thirty seconds of the round. Nice exchange there and then another. Both fighters have been very active this round and that's not changing as we approach the bell. There it is. Close. Kennedy gets the points."

McCarthy: "And, that FRAUD leads 29-28, but not for long!"

ROUND FOUR:
O'Dell: "Fourth underway and the ladies working at range. GOOD right hand from Alexander there, and that got McMann's attention and THERE'S A BOOMING RIGHT FROM JAIMIE AND DOWN GOES KENNEDY! Oh, what a shot from Alexander and McMann is blown to her back!"

McCarthy: "I TOLD you! I TOLD you! She's a FRAUD!"

O'Dell: "Jaimie to a neutral corner to watch and wait. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Six. McMann sitting up at seven. Gonna be close. Eight. Nine...she BEATS it and just barely. McMann on her feet. Ref going to give her the mandatory and wave on Alexander..."

Cassie: "Going to be a looong minute and a half for Kennedy..."

McCarthy: "Or a SHORT one!"

O'Dell: "Jaimie all about making it the latter as she wings away with both hands. McMann giving ground, keeping the guard high, backed up to the ropes now and taking. Ref looking in closely. Jaimie a GOOD right hand there. McMann jabbing back, keeping the ref at bay. Clock ticking away. Alexander piling up points, but she's not going to get the stoppage. There's the bell. Huge round for Jaimie, who takes it 10-8."

Tess: "And pulls into a 38-37 lead."

ROUND FIVE:
O'Dell: "Alexander in control. She's walking down a wobbly Kennedy, banging away with both hands. Redhead just trying to limit the damage here, firing back in spots, trying to run a little clock, but the veteran brunette is determined to finish this thing and right now, too..."

McCarthy: "Just keep after that FRAUD. You'll get her!"

O'Dell: "Alexander a solid combination and then another. McMann a good right hand counter. Kennedy shaking off the worst of the damage, it looks like, but she's still on the defensive, still on the back foot as Jaimie cleans up in a big way, piling up not just points, but punishment..."

Tess: "Kennedy doing very well to ride this out. Getting stronger as the round goes on."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed, but she's still coming off second best, as Jaimie continues to come forward, walking McMann down. SHARP exchange there, with both fighters landing a good right hand. Five seconds to go. Good right from Alexander and there's the bell. Jaimie. Wide."

Cassie: "And Alexander is up 48-46 at the half."

ROUND SIX:
O'Dell: "Jaimie trying to press the advantage, but Kennedy firing right back now and we've got a FIREFIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING! Brunette and redhead letting the hands go in a BIG way, and BOTH are landing some HARD shot, snapping back heads and sending sweat flying..."

Cassie: "And nobody backing up a step!"

O'Dell: "They are NOT, but Jaimie no longer trying to press forward now. She's figured out that McMann's legs are back, and she's not going to do anything silly. Instead, we're back to ranged boxing after about a minute of some serious bombs being traded between brunette and redhead..."

McCarthy: "Smart move by Alexander. She's GOT this fraud. Don't let her land a lucky punch..."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch we come, and we're seeing back-and-forth stuff as we have for the entirety of the round. Neither woman able to take control, as both get work done and score with both hands. Final seconds tick away and there's the bell. Close, but Alexander again."

Tess: "And, Jaimie's got a nice three-point lead, 58-55."

ROUND SEVEN:
O'Dell: "Ladies back to working at range, and, again, both plenty effective with the gun-platform stuff, putting punches together, extending on them, working everything off the long left jab. Plenty of good stuff here. Head, foot, and hand movement, playing angles, getting to spots to get off in combination..."

Tess: "And, once again, not a lot in it."

O'Dell: "Not at the moment anyw...DOWN GOES ALEXANDER! Out of NOWHERE, McMann keyholes a right hand and Jaimie is dropped to her back! Kennedy to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Alexander to her belly at six. Hands and knees at seven. Eight. And, Jaimie to her feet at nine..."

McCarthy: "YES! Beat that FRAUD!"

O'Dell: "Ref gives Jaimie the mandatory and ON COMES KENNEDY! McMann boring forward behind the left, backing Alexander to the ropes and letting her have it with both hands. Jaimie keeping the guard high, blocking, rolling with, running clock. GOOD right by Kennedy. Ref looking in closely, but there's the bell! Alexander hangs on."

Cassie: "But, with the 10-8 round, McMann's back in business, down one at 66-65."

ROUND EIGHT:
O'Dell: "Into the eighth and McMann still aggressively after Alexander, looking to finish this thing right now. Jaimie giving ground, firing back in spots, mostly playing defense at the moment. Kennedy very sound, not going to doing anything sloppy and get caught with anything..."

Cassie: "But, she's catching Jaimie PLENTY at the moment."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Redhead's got it going in a big way, bullying the older woman around the ring. Alexander working to stay off the ropes, and she's succeeding in doing that much at least but THERE'S A RIGHT HAND FROM MCMANN AND DOWN GOES ALEXANDER!"

Tess: "That might do it..."

O'Dell: "Kennedy to a neutral corner. Jaimie again down on her back. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. No movement at all from Alexander this time. Seven. Eight. Not going to happen. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Jaimie is down and out and it's OVER and your winner by KO8 is Kennedy 'Mac The Knife' McMann!"

McCarthy: "She's still a FRAUD! Don't EYE me, McMann! I'll come UP there! I'll come UP there!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kennedy McMann, and, Kennedy, you had to dig pretty deep in there..."

Kennedy: "No question about it. And, it was always going to be that way. She's no joke. You've got to bring it against her. And, I brought it."

Tess: "Talk keeps floating around about you fighting some at welter. Is that going to happen?"

Kennedy: "Absolutely. The where and the when are up to management, of course, but, I've got the power to fight up there, and I'm looking forward to doing it."
